I worked in pizza for about 15 years, so I tend to be selective in what I think is great versus good, versus okay, or worse. My first meal here, was - OK. The dough seemed under-proofed, very high gluten, on the upper end of oil content, and lacking any levels of crisp from the oven. Elevated oil is for crisp and gluten keeps it bound. Together, those elements without proper proofing/heat contact make it dense and chewy. That was in all elements of what we had. Some people like that. I like the base product to be more airy with a better crisp on heat-exposed crust. I didn't take photos of the underside, but there was little color and the rim crust was dense and chewy. The flavor of the garlic pillows was good, but again, the same chewy under-proofed bread. The tiny bit was marinara you get did have a good flavor, but it really should see a blender for 5-10 seconds to make it an actual dipping sauce instead of a chunky pizza sauce. How do you dip into a chunk of tomato? You don't, you bite out a scoop in the bread and suddenly a bunch of it is gone. With that out of the way, the flavor combinations of the OG and Miss Honey were really interesting if it weren't on top of that dough base. There were a couple bone chunks in the sausage in the Miss Honey, but the sauce and caramelized onions, with ricotta coupled with the honey really brought interest. Very unique. OG, again, very interesting. Jalapenos not to hot (for my wife), with chicken, feta, and artichoke was a pretty fun mouth ride. The balsamic drizzle, very tame and mostly provided a very slight tart sweetness. Great concept and mix of ideas, if only they could get the dough foundation and their dipping sauce consistency fixed. We'll try it again and see if it turns out the same. For $20-22 per medium? Doesn't hit that mark in my opinion and for our Friday night pizza order.

We order to go a lot and eat it at the Indian creek plaza. It works great because you get a text when your pizza is ready. Service is pretty quick. Usually 20-30 mins but lunch and dinner are busy times. I will pre order by the app or calling in. I have eaten the pizzas, salads, sandwiches and the Indian creek bread. I wish I grabbed more pics of our food. The kids tend to grab it to eat as I'm setting it out.

Baseline came out first and was a very generous size for a small. Every ingredient, the tomatoes, onions, lettuce, carrots and croutons were fresh and crafted to perfection. The ranch was a nice texture and flavor. Next came the Extreme Twisted Sticks, cheese sticks with marinara. Only downside is that the marinara was cold, but the twists were nicely baked with ooey-gooey cheese inside. Next came the pizzas. Each pizza had a nice thin-ish crust, crispy and nicely salted, with generous toppings on each slice. You can tell that the people who make these items care about what goes out to the customer. We loved our time there and even our friends from New York said that they loved this pizza...and that says a lot! We can't wait to go back.

I did notice a food trailer. Not sure if that the right word, but it didn't have four wheels, so it's not a food truck per se. They offered pizza, but just regular pizza, Detroit Style Pizza. I've never experienced Detroit Style Pizza and didn't even why they call it Detroit Style. For those that don't know, here's the definition, "Detroit-style pizza is a rectangular pan pizza featuring a thick, chewy, focaccia-like crust, Wisconsin brick cheese spread all the way to the edges for a crispy caramelized crust, and thick tomato sauce piped or spooned in stripes directly on top of the cheese and toppings." I spoke with a young man and he helped me navigate the menu until I found a possible option. Veggie Pizza I like pineapple but not on my pizza. Yeah, I know, I'm going to lose some Yelp followers and friends, it is what it is. I also like Basil but not on this type of pizza. Here came the dilemma. They didn't have any vegan cheese which means I was going to have to deal with the consequences of consuming cheese. With Detroit Style, there's a lot of cheese, but I explained my dilemma and they said they could make my pizza with light or easy cheese. Ok. ok. I throw caution to the smokey wind and said, 'Sure' I was given a buzzer and went back inside to have some beer. About 15 minutes later, the buzzer did its thing, and I went to pick up my veggie Detroit Style Pizza. I've seen a lot of pizzas. Matter of fact, I've attended and managed a booth of vegan cheese the International Pizza Expo in Las Vegas several times. This pizza was gorgeous. See the picture! The sauce was zesty without being acidic. The meats were delicious. The dough had "just crispy" edges with light, airy and phenomenal flavor. Since they are a food truck, you will need to make sure where they are parked but some of the best pizza makes it worth the work. The service was friendly and, even though they are made from scratch, the turnaround time from order to hot pizza in your hands is surprisingly short. I am not sure what Detroit style pizza is but if Boise Crust is an example of it, count me in. Boise Crust is the spot for great pizza and we will be back.

My MIL made a reservation for 10. The last time I was in, we were actually comfortably seated with the 10 of us. We weren't crowded. It was lovely. This time, we were so congested. Our table was up against another two groups behind us. It was so hard to get in and out of. They had the sliding doors open so it was hot, crowded and congested. Not a pleasant way to dine. Our server got our orders started. The last time we were here, my husband got the seafood pasta and it was spicy. The shrimp pasta listed heat but not the seafood. After our server clarifying the difference few the two marinara sauces, they truly screwed up on my husband's plate the last time we were here. So today, my husband ordered the chicken parm with Alfredo sauce in his pasta. Making sure it was the right marinara. I got the meatballs again and my daughter ordered the filet mignon pasta. While we were waiting for our food, the busser, assistant, expo (whomever she was) cleared out our small plates. We didn't order any appetizers but the server said bread was coming. May I ask why you would clear out the small plates when bread is coming? We literally had bread crumbs all over the table cause there was nothing catching them. Texas Roadhouse, Longhorn Steakhouse, Luciano's, Olive Garden, Red Lobster, Corso, Bittercreek, Stardust all have little plates out for their guests..... it's humorous you pull them. My meatballs were the same as last time, good. My husband's noodles were overly drenched with sauce. My daughter barely got any pasta in her 30 dollar plate. You can't label a pasta dish a pasta dish if there's no pasta in it. Especially if it's damn near 30 dollars. My youngest got the kids chicken Alfredo for her meal. Again, all chicken and no pasta. Kids would rather have the pasta vs the chicken. 15 bucks for a kid's meal with no pasta. I'm rather embarrassed that I even suggested this place. Thank goodness my family is more easy going than I am but we did share the same disappointments. Serve pasta in your pasta dishes. Your bigger bowls to deceive your customers that they are getting a lot is a lie. If you're going to charge 30 bucks for pasta, make sure your customers get their value. Leave your small plates for your guests. We don't want bread crumbs all over our laps and table. Make sure your chefs know the difference between your two marinara sauces. God forbid another guest has to suffer for your screw up.
