My boss & I came in the other day looking for only 1 toyota sienna, we ended up leaving with two without them even trying to upsell, amazing guys they fixed any tiny things we asked on the spot, they stayed an hour and a half past closing for us, they even got a smog place to stay 30 mins past closing so we can close the second deal, definitely suggest these hard working guys, the autobody shop next door are extremely hard workers as well, definitely recommend. read more

I came to get a car inspected (on my dime), and this is what the car needed: a battery replacement, awasher pump reservoir replacement, spark plugs, an air filter, a cabin filter, new brake fluid, rear window regulator since it wasn't working, and brakes and rotors for the front wheels. I also got another inspection at Honda since I know someone who works there, and he said that the power steering reservoir had to be replaced since the wheel had resistance when turning... this all would have costed 2k+ in repairs. I decided to cut my losses and return the car. Wouldn't recommend this dealer as he doesn't seem to care about the maintenance at all. Also, the gas was empty when I got there. His breath also stinks. read more

Had a great experience with Edison. This dealer is by appointment only, and he was able to accommodate me the same afternoon I reached out. First off, I was very happy with how smooth and quick everything went. I got to the dealer at 3:30, looked at the car, test drove it, and left with it by 5:30. Second, I was pleased with his transparency. He was honest about the flaws he was aware of with the car and admitted that there were some things he didn't know (it's a 25-year-old car). Lastly, I appreciated his patience. I didn't feel pressured at all, and he answered all my questions and let me check the car at my own pace. read more

Edison the owner was very pleasant to work with in my car buying experience. He specializes in used JDM cars that are harder to find without the right resources. I came to Edison for a Porsche Boxster at first, but then changed my mind and got a Lexus SC400 later. Throughout the whole process, Edison responded to my calls and questions and let me drive both cars thoroughly. He also told me about his own cars and a little bit about his car passions. He's a true car guy. I'm very satisfied with my purchase. The SC400 he had was a rare color, very clean, well maintained, and surprisingly one owner! I think Edison has a good talent for finding niche cars that have been maintained well. He helps bridge the gap between a specific buyer and a specific car. This isn't a dealership where you randomly browse and haggle and try to get the best price. This is a place where you look for something specific JDM, or request Edison to help you search for something, and he executes well and on time. I hope to be back one day for another car in my lineup to appreciate and take care of! read more

Edison is a diamond in the rough! Such a nice guy, and he takes pride in his cars. He's a true car enthusiast, knowledgeable and passionate. He told me he only likes to sell cars that have been 'loved by their previous owners' and it really shows. I bought a BMW Z3 from him and he was patient, thorough and honest while talking me through the condition of the car, what was included, and even imparted some tips and tricks for this particular model. Even though he (and the car) made such a great impression, I purchased the 2-Day return guarantee on top of the price of the car. It's a small fee, but well worth it for the piece of mind. The guarantee demonstrates a well-deserved confidence in his inventory and, as a first-time customer, put me at ease. I drove the car for a couple days and took it to a local BMW tech to get a PPI before the 2-Day period was up. Of course, it passed the inspection with flying colors and validated everything Edison had told me about the car. If you're on the fence about shopping at Sports Plus Motor Group, this guarantee alone should put your doubts to rest. Looking forward to owning this car for a long, long time! read more

Wilson and Edison are a breath of fresh air! I wanted to buy a first car for my son. We were looking in the lowest price range and these guys were super helpful. Not pushy at all. Very transparent with all the information they had and very willing to listen to our needs and concerns. Because we were such cautious buyers, the process took multiple days, but they were patient with us and acted in good faith every step of the way. At the end of our process we got a great deal on a great car and my son is delighted. Wilson is the most honest and friendly used car salesman we could have ever hoped to meet, and Edison backed him up very nicely. I would definitely recommend these guys if you are looking for a good car on a budget. read more

BUYER BEWARE! Over $3500 in serious repairs required within 5 days of purchase! On Sunday, 8/22, I purchased a 2000 Nissan Xterra from this company. The following day, the car stalled twice on me. I took to the local dealership, and was told the harness wiring had been improperly installed. The wires had been cut, and simply twisted together. There was damage to the manifold. Repairs totaled in excess of $1200. I get the car back late 8/25. Early morning 8/28, loud "POP" driving down the road. Again, took to local dealership. Was informed not 1, but 2 leaf spring failures, which damaged shocks. Repairs totaled in excess of $2300 I called the dealership multiple times giving them an opportunity to reply, or make things right. No reply to date (10/04) read more

Saw a car I was looking for on there website and decide to call up the dealership to see if the car is still available. Eddison picks up and says an "out of state buyer has placed a deposit on the car, it's not for sale until the deposit expires." I was fine with that and over the next 2 weeks I call every few days to get updates on the deposit, and eventually the sales guy states the "out of state buyers deposit expires on 7/15/21". To me that's great. Then after that statement, he goes on to say "I'm only taking sticker price offers (essentially no negotiations). I respond "ok I'm willing to pay all cash wire transfer or check, but I'd need to see the car in person before I can commit to paying sticker" (the car was missing a badge on the trunk, and I had never seen the car in person, so I did not know the condition of the underbody or how it drove). I essentially didn't want to give him a false promise that I'll pay his asking price without actually seeing the car because pictures can only show so much. I was trying to be honest and open with him but he didn't appreciate that as you'll find out. After this conversation I call Edison today (7/14/21) to confirm if the deposit is actually going to expire tomorrow and if I can come check out the car tomorrow (7/15/21). He said yes, and I guess he remembered our last conversation and he said " I don't want to waste my time or your time, I'll only take sticker price offers." I respond "ok but again I can't guarantee I'll pay sticker before checking out the car in person" and before I can even finish my sentence he hangs up on me. It was very rude of Edison to not listen to what I was trying to say and just hang up on me. I don't understand how Edison expected me to agree to pay his asking price without giving me a chance to look at the car. I can't tell how the underbody of the car is or how the car drives from pictures. So I'm not going to lie to you and say "oh yeah I'll pay whatever your asking/sticker price even though I've never seen the car". I essentially was gate-kept from seeing the car. If I had been given the chance to actually see the car in person, and the car seemed good after I checked it out, by all means I would have paid his asking price. Good luck finding someone who will agree to pay sticker price, with out seeing the car in person, in an all cash form. One of the worst car buying/car searching experiences I've been through. read more

**update to original review below** Edison reached out to me after my review and addressed my concerns. He mentioned that he brought in the cars I test drove to his mechanics right after I left to address the things I'd mentioned, even though I wasn't really interested. He's a good guy, but I stand by what's written below. ** Edison seemed a little disorganized. I test drove four of his cars, three of them had very obvious mechanical issues and were not clean. He freely admits he doesn't have any mechanical knowledge and just leaves it to his mechanic friends to look over the cars. He buys them sight unseen from auctions around California, and he told me his main criterion for selecting cars was whether or not the interior was clean, because if the interior is clean that would mean the car has been well maintained. That's a bit of a stretch, especially because in reality, three of the cars I saw were not clean at all! I didn't feel like I was being misled, Edison wasn't trying to lie about the cars or say that they were perfect. He told me "I don't like to say the cars are perfect, because, I mean, they're used cars." But they're not priced accurately for the condition they're in. He had two Acura TSXs, one with over 140k miles and the other with under 80k. Although the one with fewer miles was priced about $3000 more than the one with more miles, it was in much worse condition! I also drove a Lexus IS350 that was dirty and had rusty brakes- upon making a u-turn there was an awful metal grinding noise with the steering wheel cranked. I guess he must be doing something right because he's been in business for 15 years, but the whole operation just seemed like a crapshoot. Maybe an auction car comes in great, and maybe it comes as a complete lemon, but Edison doesn't seem to notice either way or express much interest in the condition of the car. I'll take my chances elsewhere. read more

Edison is the best dealer I ever met, he was being so helpful. He got me a super good deal so quickly. No doubt about his professional, but also his generosity. With all the knowledge and suggestions from him, I'm confident to get better price when next time I buy a new car. I was hoping to know him earlier, then I could saved a lot already! read more

Edison at Sports Plus Motor Group was very professional, friendly, and prompt. His listing on the vehicle including the pictures were all accurate. This private dealership is by appointment only, but its well worth it. Cars are being sold at fair prices and it maybe some below market value like mine was. I searched for the best deal for this particular car and he had it. I recommend including this dealership as you shop around for your best deal. I will be back when I'm ready for my next vehicle....Thank you Edison for your quick responses and professionalism. read more

Finally got my hands on a very good condition 06 Acura RSX!!! Definitely didn't get that dealership pressure/stress. Edison was very helpful and nice. Took the car to a mechanic to check it out and he told me that the rear brakes are going bad BUT Edison said he'll repair it for free because Safety is one of their business value. Definitely recommend Sports Plus Motor Group!! :D read more

This is one of the best used car dealerships. We drove about two hours to get to this place. I had the pleasure of working with Wilson to acquire my first car! He made sure to hook us up with the best offer and responded to all of our questions and needs. They value their customers with integrity and safety, being that it is a used car dealership. I can't express this enough they go above and beyond. Totally composers of outstanding merit. I would definitely recommend you to buy from their business. read more

My family recently purchased a car from here and once we got it checked up by a mechanic there were actually many problems with the car. Luckily we had a good friend, the mechanic, to look over the car right away. He replaced the spark plug tube seal because that was missing and it caused a leak. If we did not catch this sooner, then the car would have caught of fire due to fuel leaking into the spark plugs. Then, he had to reseal the oil pan which was also leaking. Then, he replaced the front brake pads and disc because those were worn out and as well as replaced the left front side axle. There were a lot of problems that was not stated with the car when we asked about it. The car also needed an oil change and as well as a transmission fluid change but we expected that. Beware of purchasing cars from here. read more

I was sold a recalled car from Sports Plus Motor Group. There was already a small oil problem with the car, so it seems he temporarily fixed it so that it would go unnoticed long enough for me to buy it. In reality, the small oil problem was a result of a recall of the car's make, model, and year. read more

Called a phone number listed on cargurus and it was Edison or the "CEO" cellphone number. He said the car was still available for sale and i asked if the price was negotiable....thats when he started to sound angry and kept saying loudly on the phone: NO NO, DONT TEST ME MAN I KNOW ( he repeatedly said 3 times without letting me say a single word). I would give a 0 star if i could, i dont recommend this place , and will tell people to avoid it at all cost. unprofessional and rude. read more
