Jimmy's worker/biz partner seemed fairly open, but was actively getting me to refer to the car's Carfax (which covers up a lot of other issues in hindsight). After taking that car out for a test drive and to get it inspected and tested at Firestone, the estimated cost of repairs was around 50% of the cost of the vehicle itself. After showing that to Jimmy, he became visibly annoyed and dismissive. His main argument was to talk about the overpriced quote of the windshield wipers (while ignoring the actual structural issues with the car). Beware!

I also had difficulty getting financing, but Sal worked with me and helped make it happen. My only advice is to carefully review the financing terms. I financed through Westlake, and the interest rate was high, so I plan to pay the vehicle off as quickly as possible to avoid paying too much interest.
