"Your hair is just being difficult". WTAF is that? Hopefully just the stylist and not the whole place but my experience was awful. Service: she complained about my hair. Didn't ask for help from another stylist when she realized she didn't know how to proceed. Quality: none. Not worth the $40 to get out of there. Vibe: here's where they spend their money. To get you in, there is seating, background music, open concept. Looks nice. read more

Worst haircut I've gotten in my life, the lady spent maybe 9 minutes total. Wouldn't even recommend this place to a bald guy.

Love this place! I've been going here every other week for 2 years now. Heather is the absolute best! Always a great attitude, wonderful conversation and awesome cut! I have had my hair cut by others here and they all do a great job and provide a great experience! If you want someone who'll take longer than the "allotted" 15 minutes of time at other "sports" places? Then come here and see the difference for yourself!!! read more

Konrad is the best hair stylist for men/boys around. My son is 15 and hates having to do anything to his hair and has been getting buzz cuts most of his life. He wanted a change for this year but didnt want anything that required any work (almost impossible obviously). Konrad used to cut my sons hair at another salon and then he left and we didnt know where he went. I happened to see on yelp that he was Sports Cuts so we made an appt. I explained to Konrad what we were looking for and he was so agreeable, and informative. He gave my son the best hair cut of his life. It is stylish but he cut it in a way that requires no effort other than some water in the morning. He is very personable, quick, and knows his stuff. The salon itself is awesome -decorated in sports themed memorabilia and sports games on everywhere - a guys dream, basically. Best thing? The cut was only 15.00. Konrad is awesome and we are lucky to have found him again! read more

Amanda was amazing!!!! Made a little boy very happy with a red Mohawk!!!! She was patient kind and very skilled!!! Highly recommend!

Been there for few times. Charges different rates every time based on the time they take to do same haircut. Having time value in price is understandable but doing slow work just to charge more doesn't feel right. They even talk about charging more for more time for the same service for another customer seating next to me. Son got a cut on neck and one on his ear while his hair expert talked over the phone. I understand things happen but hair expert didn't feel sorry about it, didn't inform parent to what happened and charged adult rate for a child's haircut. One star is for haircut as my son liked the haircut. I guess time to find a new haircut place for us now. Who don't cut my kid's throat and charge more for that As always I hope owner and employees take this review is as a feedback to improve their services. read more

Sport Cuts Westside - Cut on neck while hair expert talked on the phone. - Hair Salons Near Me - Olympia, Washington

I have yet to come here and get a bad hair cut. All the stylists are professionals and I don't think it matters who cuts your hair-you will get what you want. The owner calls new clients at the end of the month. I've seen this company grow since starting to go there when they only had the Lacey location, so he must be a busy man. This personal touch speaks volumes to how he cares about his customers, and I feel it says something for how he cares about his employees. I've even been in the shop and seen him sweeping and getting stations ready. One thing that impressed me was watching one of the stylists cut the hair of an autistic boy. All the sounds and the environment had to be challenging for him. She was incredibly patient with the boy and did a great job. Having had a daughter with special needs, I've seen the challenges people face in getting them to cooperate. I wish I knew the name of the stylist. She should be commended. read more

Heather has been doing my hair for years. No one does it like her! She's the best! She knows exactly how to make it look the best. She's super patient with me and all of my knots. I feel so relaxed and pampered when I leave looking my best. My husband always compliments me when I've been to see her and doesn't mind the expense, because I come home in such a good mood. Thanks for taking great care of me Heather! read more

I've been bringing my 8 year old son here to see Heather for over a year. She's outstanding! She listens to what he wants, has great conversations with him, and remembers little details about what's going on in his life. He's very shy so being able to build a relationship with someone has helped immensely. Plus, she gives him GREAT haircuts! read more

Love this place! Olympia has needed a place like this for a while and especially on the Westside. Prices are very fair, they are always happy to see you and best of all they are very good at short haircuts for men. I've done the mall places and the chains and take it from me, stop wasting your time and money on less than average haircuts. I get a great cut every time. They know what I like. It's a comfortable environment especially if you like an active atmosphere and sports. Best of all they are quick but thorough. Definitely check them out! read more

I had a bad haircut from a salon that also did mens cuts. The next day I knew I had to get it fixed. I stumbled across Sport Cuts on Cooper Point in Olympia, and I went in and set up a same-day appt. with Amanda. Amanda saved my botched haircut. She listened to all I said, took her time to make sure it was right, and asked for my input as she went along. She even said that she would keep notes if I returned so she would know what I wanted when I came back. I was very happy with the service at Sport Cuts and particularly from Amanda. She fixed the botched cut impressively, and I was very relieved not to look goofy for the next 3 weeks! I guess that's the difference between a salon that does mens cuts and a good barber. Also I only saw female barbers, which I like... something about other men running their fingers thru my hair that just isn't for me. So check out Sport Cuts & Amanda & you'll want to keep coming back as if your good looks depended on it! read more

What a great experience here today. I went in for a touch up and hair cut and came out so happy and excited with my hair for the first time in A long while. Megan was my stylist today and she worked magic with the color and put in some highlights. I am so very pleased and just loved meeting Megan and she has such a fun personality. So easy to talk to and very good at what she does. Will definitely recommend her and Sports Cuts to anyone, and will go back in a month for another visit. read more

Stopped in here for a trim for myself and my 8yo daughter. My hair was trimmed by a girl who was chomping on gum and acting "inconvenienced" by having to cut my hair. She made me feel awkward. She asked to cut my hair dry and then asked at the end if I wanted it washed. I don't understand the point of that. Entire trim took about 10 - 15 minutes. Total cost of that quick trim: $33. Ludicrous. I won't be back. read more

I started using this place when my regular haircut person at Aveda (she's not a barber and I don't want to admit I used a stylist) went on maternity leave. I've used Amanda now for several months, and she does a great job. I'm not worried about money, but the haircut at Sport Cuts costs half of what I was paying. Call and make an appointment (I recommend Amanda). read more

Kat does my haircut and goes over the top for service. I am the worse when it comes to scheduling a haircut but she finds the time to get me in. Thank you for the great service! PS She also sees a number of my clients as well. read more

Chelsea is an amazing stylist. Every time I come in, she knows exactly what I want and my hair looks amazing! I walk out feeling like a million bucks! She recommends hair products and they are amazing. The other girls are always friendly and happy to see every customer. I would recommend the salon to everyone. Service is top notch! read more

Do yourself a favor - go to this salon and ask for Konrad. I've been getting my haircut from him for several years and he's truly gifted at his art. Best stylist I've ever used (it isn't even close), Very professional and personable too! read more

Great place. Walked right in with no appointment and Jayme was able to get me right in! Cut was perfect, great service and nice facility.

Nice job on the hair cut. They were also doing some deep cleaning which is always good to see.

This place is awesome! Extremely professional, friendly, and affordable. They are knowledgeable and keep up with the latest trends in hair. Ask for Konrad or make an appointment with him. He does an amazing job! I will not go anywhere else! Making an appointment online is so quick and easy. read more

I went in on a walk in 2 days ago and Angela I think it was, cut and tinted my hair. There was no wait and she did a fantastic job, very professional. I am definitely going back in a few weeks, just wish I had gotten an appt. card. read more

Jessica is amazing! I've been up here for over and have had a hard time finding a decent salon to cut my short hair. I've got a lot of bad cuts and finally found Jessica. She cuts my hair perfect and doesn't keep me there all day doing so. She's got a great work attitude as well. read more

Very disappointed with the haircut I received today. I paid $25 for essentially a bowl cut. The lady Spent maybe 5 minutes cutting it, and did a terrible job of layering it. All the cuts are uneven. She was very nice to me and listened well, but did a very poor job cutting my hair. I would like to go back, but cannot trust their hands any longer. If I wanted a bowl cut id use a bowl and some scissors. read more

I'm new to the area and was looking for a place to get a good haircut. I'm not a complicated dude, just don't make me look like a schlub. That's all I ask for in a haircut. I stopped in here because I actually thought they were Sports Clips, which I had been to before and thought they might have my info on file because I never remember the numbers they tell me. Spoiler: this is, in fact, not Sports Clips. Same business model mostly, but a different company. Konrad introduced himself, and took me right to a chair. The haircut was great, but Konrad made this a 5-star experience. He is probably the most interesting person I've ever talked to while getting a haircut, and he did a damn good job with it. He was polite, quick, and extremely professional. The other stylists are pretty to look at, but this guy will definitely make sure you look good. I will definitely be back to get my haircut here in a few weeks. read more

This is a great barbershop. They offer the deluxe option that includes a straight razor neck shave, hot towel, and neck massage. It was great and worth the extra cost. Great haircut. Make appointment. read more

I used to really like Sport Cuts but I too got a "bowl" cut from a male barber and a lop sided one from a young lady that was in a hurry. What really irritated me was that I made an appointment, got there five minutes early, and after waiting 20 minutes (15 after the appointment time) and watching two walk-ins get served I decided they didn't need my business. read more

Easy laid back atmosphere; they take walk ins and appointments as well. Always do a great job and prices are within reason.

*************STAY AWAY DONT WASTE YOUR MONEY THERE TERRIBLE!!!!!!****** the worst place to get your haircut ever. Tried it since the Lacey location didn't cut my hair right and sure as shit they fucked my haircut up as well. Totally unprofessional and the owner should be ashamed. I could hear him yelling at his employees in the back what an uncomfortable visit ! read more

Normally, this place is great, deserving a 4.8/5 stars, and I usually come here for my trims and cuts. I didn't really need one this time, but I wanted to put in the effort to look more professional for my public life. Recently, I was shocked to I receive one of the worst haircuts I have ever had. I love my hair and take good care of it. My stylist was frowning, acting inconvenienced, and didn't offer the shampoo until I asked. Now, I have a haircut I probably cannot even fix with a buzz cut. It feels humiliating to alter my life and have to wear a hat all the time to hide my hair, which I used to love. In a way, this haircut cost more than $22 because I even had to buy more beanies since I don't normally wear hats, given I do not like wearing them and I would get a lot of positive feedback on my hair from my significant others. Now, I make excuses to avoid them. If I were you, I would save my $20 for something you wouldn't pay $50 NOT to get. Never coming here again. read more

"I have tried different men's haircut stylists in Olympia and have never been quite satisfied, until Sports Cuts Westside where I have been going for the past year. Each stylist was good, but I give five stars to Alicia. Her profile highlights her experience with "vivid and fun colors as well as wedding/event hair " ... but I am a business professional with sales accounts in three states. She listened to what I wanted using scissor only, VIP razor cut and length. It has to look good in a shirt and tie. That's the polar opposite from "vivid and fun colors" but now I make a reservation to ensure Alicia is available." read more

walk ins welcome but turned away 1hr 20min before closing . Just maybe say last appts. taken at 6 or 630 may be helpful .
