Utensils in a can of spam
    Dan W.

I am torn about what actual rating to leave this restaurant. It is a hole in the wall, seemingly family owned, and everyone was really funny. I knew what I wanted, but I heard the employees answering many questions and offering suggestions to other customers. So, A+ for customer service. As an aside, I enjoyed the utensils being served in an empty Spam container. Now, the food. It basically was $20 for a plate of meat, rice, and a bottle of soda. I got the pork adobo...adobo being a flavor I've had before. Though seemingly high(er) in price, I was ready to enjoy. While cooked well and fork tender, the pork just tasted like it had been drenched in soy sauce. Not exaggerating....it was overly salty soy sauce smothered pork. Had it been other flavors breaking through, I may have a more positive review, but yeah...it tasted as if the pork were marinated, then braided for hours, in nothing but soy sauce. After a few bites, the flavor was repetitive and kind of boring. I want them to do well, and would try other things on the menu, but I have had better adobo.

Not pictured, chicken sandwich and sigsig. Don't sleep on this little spot! Everything was so good! They have like 8 counter seats and a regular table for 2 (so wheelchair accessible). Driving through from the South Bay and we had a hankering for Filipino food today and were so glad to have found this place! We shared: calamansi wings, pork adobo, longsilog, sisig, and a chicken sandwich. Gosh everything was delicious, but that chicken sandwich was sooo good! Super crispy crunchy on the outside but so juicy and tender and perfectly seasoned.

I seriously cannot recommend Spoon and Fork enough. Customer service: 10/10 Food: 10/10 Taste: 15/10 I highly recommend the Sisig Plate, pork lumpia, and Sinigang wings + a calamansi juice. It is exactly the kind of place that has us BEGGING them to expand! Incredible humans opened and incredible spot and Sacramento could not be more lucky!! THANK YOU!

Spoon and Fork has been on my try list for a while now and I finally got to try them last weekend. I was able to snag a parking spot right in front. It's a small place and I can see it can fill up quickly, very cute and clean inside. I ordered tosilog and sisig and we really enjoyed both plates. The sisig was especially good. The eggs were cooked perfectly and still nice and runny after the long ride home. I am looking forward to trying more dishes, as well as the biko latte which sounds so good! I spoke with one of the owners while I was waiting for my food and he was very friendly and all around nice guy. I love supporting local businesses like this one. Definitely check them out.

After having "Spoon and Fork" bookmarked on Yelp for several months, I finally got the opportunity in giving this Filipino business a try. Located in the heart of Sacramento and directly on Broadway and in between 20th/21st St's, this wildly popular restaurant has been opened for business since the spring of 2025. As of early-2026, they are one of a small handful of Filipino businesses in the Sacramento area; a very warm welcome as I have eaten at other similar businesses in the Bay Area. I came here during the afternoon on Saturday 2/7/2026 at around 1:45pm. Parking can be hit-or-miss as your best bet would be to park on Broadway or nearby 21st St. The exterior shows their business name complete with the colors of the Philippines (red, white, blue, & yellow) and logos of a spoon and fork (hence the name of the business). Once entering, you will notice just how tiny this place is; only seating for about 8-10 guests max. However, my lady and I felt right at home as the husband and wife owners, Ray and Joanne Suavillo greeted us with open arms and a smile. In case you're wondering, Spoon and Fork's roots started from a lumpia truck that originally launched as Wandering Boba and eventually became a permanent brick-and-mortar restaurant. Since 2025, their Broadway location is used for indoor dining as well as pickup orders to-go. To those that once remember, this is where "Panda House" stood for many years (2008-2024) until Spoon and Fork eventually vacated that space (in May 2025). Their menu is extensively Filipino with traditional favorites such as chicken or pork lumpia, Calamansi or Sinigang chicken wings, and their Silog plates that come in either beef, sweet pork, sausage, or Spam. These plates come with garlic fried rice, salted egg salad, and an egg cooked over easy. Finally, you also have the option of ordering a rice plate that comes in either pork adobo, Sisig, pork belly, burger steak, or BBQ chicken. They also carry rice noodles and a small variety of Filipino desserts and juices. Since I wanted the true Filipino experience, I went with their "Tosilog" plate which was their sweet & savory pork dish. My lady went with their "BBQ chicken" rice plate. We received a pager that beeped when our plates were ready. The owner was very accommodating as he cleared the space for us to enjoy our meals inside of the business. I will say that my Tosilog plate was absolute perfection; the pork was tender and made very delicately. It paired up great with the garlic fried rice while the egg was the perfect balance in every bite. I also tried some of her BBQ chicken as this hit the spot with the spices and flavors. Normally, I wouldn't write such an extensive review on a business. But the high level of customer service, ambiance, and cozy vibes really made this place shine. Both Ray and Joanne continued to converse with us even with other customers waiting for their food. Best of all, their food hit all the high notes with the amount of unique flavors that are represented. With decent prices, prime location, and food that will have me return as repeat customer, I am giving "Spoon and Fork" a perfect five star rating.

Yummmmm! I finally had lunch in the pocket-sized diner down the street, serving up delicious fast and fresh eats. Inside smells amazing, and seats about 10 people. I ordered the Tsilog, with sweet and savory pork upon recommendation from staff - that and the lumpia did not disappoint. Both were too good to be pictured. Try their specialty drinks, I ordered the ube coffee, and got to try their special ice cream flavor. Try to guess the flavor (see photo description for a hint). Pro-tip: go before 11:45, or after the lunch rush. I have no idea what took me so long to try, I'll be back soon.

Ordered two catering trays of lumpia for a potluck event and it was a hit!! It had people talking about days later saying "i still think about the lumpia from the potluck". Everyone enjoyed it and me of course. It was delicious and the workers are so nice. On the day of pick-up, one of their refreshments caught my eye which was their kalamansi drink and i originally ordered that for myself as well until they asked if i wanted to try their kalamansi-cucumber drink. And after tasting a sample, i was just refreshed. I ordered that instead and it just made my day. It tasted really refreshing andperfect for the weather. Would love to come back here again and have a proper meal :))

Stopped in to try since the fam loves Filipino food...great food and great service! Place is small upon walking in, but line goes by pretty fast. Cashier was friendly, and the owner Ray was just as engaging and even helping out at register. Ordered the lechon (crispy skin and fat to meat ratio was good); pork adobo (flavorful), chicken pancit, chicken wings (moist and crispy) and chicken lumpia (hand rolled, meaty and crispy). Overall a great experience; too bad there weren't enough seating for the 7 of us; had to take it home to eat. Not a problem though; we will be back!!

Been having a craving for Lumpia since yesterday, and this was the first place that popped up when I searched. I was planning to go after work yesterday, but realized the hours are basically only lunch, so I decided to go today. I placed an order online for pick up and got Spamsilog, Pork Lumpia and Crispy Chicken Chicharon and my food was ready at 11:10AM. The inside is nice and clean, and it smelt amazing when I walked in! The lady who handed me my order seemed sweet. I tried the Lumpia first and realized it was more on the salty end, but still really crispy and flavorful. Then the Chicharon, which was really good. And lastly the Spamsilog. My absolute favorite thing I've had in a while. It was so good, especially the garlic fried rice. Honestly, will be coming back to try other things, maybe give the Lumpia another shot. It was really good and I love supporting local!

Food was incredible, service was amazing. I LOVE Philippino ppl so so much, but outside of lumpia and adobo, it's never been my favorite- that changed with Spoon and Fork. The flavors were well-balanced and nuanced and also punchy. The desserts were next level. I'm going to give the compliment I rarely give out on dessert- not too sweet. Will go back to this place over and over. Omg the calamansi juice was incredible.

I'm sorry but this is not worth $20 after tax!! This is not sig sig as they say it is! I don't know what this is but I'm not satisfied.

Yeah I don't think I will order here again! Like this is not sig sig! Where is the pork? More rice than meat!!. Not worth the money!

This is a family-owned Filipino restaurant. The food is delicious! From their rice plates to their chicken sandwich. Don't forget their calamansi drink to wash it all down. Pictured are their Chicken Sandwich. Sinigang chicken wings and their famous lumpia. If you're in the area check them out and support your local business. #SpoonAndFork #FilipinoFood #FamilyRestaurant #GoodFood #fyp Service 5/5 They're so friendly and welcoming.

Tried out Spoon and Fork and really enjoyed the experience. The dining area is small with just a few seats, but the service was excellent and the staff were super friendly. I ordered the Tapsilog plate and it was cooked to perfection, authentic flavor and the garlic fried rice was amazing. The Chicken Shanghai lumpia were made fresh to order, served hot and crispy. I honestly didn't want to stop eating them, they were so flavorful. I also tried the Chicken Chicharron for the first time, and they were perfectly crispy and delicious. The Pancit Bihon was good too, though the dish was just not my favorite, but that's just personal preference. Overall, the flavors are authentic and everything tasted fresh. The menu is small but solid, and I'll definitely be back to try more dishes. Highly recommend if you're looking for delicious Filipino food!

Do they offer any vegetarian dishes besides the vegetable lumpia?

Sounds like a nice place. Is the vegetable lumpia vegan? Is it fried in animal fat?

    Do they do online orders?

They do not take phone or online orders.

Anyone know their current business hours? I cannot find it anywhere.

It fluctuates because they are still in the "soft opening" phase of opening the restaurant

We were really more interested in the Filipino food, as there aren't many options in Sacramento. My husband says that the Filipino food has a Chinese influence here. It's definitely a more hole-in-the-wall place. We came at around lunch time and were warmly greeted by two ladies. A couple of other parties came in after us. We ordered 4 dishes to share, and they came out pretty fast! 1) Pinakbet - probably my favorite dish. It's a simpler dish with vegetables including eggplant, bitter melon, okra, tomato, kabocha, pork. I liked that the bitter Leon had a but of a wok char flavor. The eggplant had a bit of an oil taste but I'm aware that restaurants will fry the eggplant and then stir fry it into the fish to maintain the color...I actually liked that oil taste haha. 2) Kare Kare - it's a peanut butter stew with vegetables including eggplant, bokchoy, green beans, and oxtail. The oxtail is so tender. They also provide a shrimp paste and that adds some salt and pungent flavor. 3) Pancit palabok - as you'd expect with the addition of tofu. I wished they had more chicharron on there for texture 4) Bopis - diced pig ear with some jalapeños and peppers. This was seasoned so well and goes well when mixed with rice. We ordered rice to go along with the dishes. There was sooooo much food leftover. Great value! I am totally looking forward to the next time I get to go here!

Comes with garlic rice, lettuce, tomatoes, cucumbers, cilantro, onions, atchara (pickled papaya), garlic peanut mix, sweet soy, calamansi aioli, chiptole aioli, jalapenos, and bahay chili oil. I forgot to customize it for my husband, who's a no creamy sauce and no spicy anything. But...he ended up eating every bit of the bowl because it was so good! I l really liked mine too with the pork, but I wish the pork was crispier. The lumpia was crispy and good and for $5 you get 2 long lumpias served with the sweet chili sauce. Our food came up fast, and service came with a smile. If you see them around, give their Filipino fusion food a try! Support this small, local, and women-owned biz!

Their calamansinade is one of my favorite drinks and often sells out quickly. I highly recommend the longanisa dumplings, bao tacos, and their signature bánh mì sandwich with bistek or tocino. The bread is made in-house, and you can taste the freshness. Orders can be placed through a self-ordering kiosk. You can expect a bit of a wait during busy times especially larger events, but it's well worth it. If they're in your area, be sure to check these ladies out, you won't be disappointed!

I've been known to buy multiple packs when I see this food truck, just because I know if I bring it home my family will devour it. On top of the incredible jerky, they also have so many delicious options. I usually go for the longpia and it's always packed with flavor. I also like that their sweet chili sauce has a bit of a kick to it. You can't go wrong with any of their dishes and it typically doesn't take too long for your food to be ready after ordering. They do give you a little buzzer so you don't have to hover, and the food is always hot and fresh. Whenever I'm at an event with Baboy Boys I'm stopping.

While waiting for my order, I actually snuck a photo of the lechon before it was portioned out for my order. Take a look at my photo. It's all about the lechon for me and I order that every time I get a craving. They are really good about having your food on time and always serve it with a friendly smile. I've become a regular and Joe knows me by name now. Thanks Joe! Simply Wonderful!!
