    Shaking beef

Really enjoy this place. Parking is a tight (there is some parking in the back) but don't let that deter you. The food is quite delicious here. Last visit we tried the shaking beef with garlic noodles and the stir fried lemongrass chicken with red rice. We would get both again in a heartbeat. So much flavor, meat was flavorful and not dry, and I just loved the rice. Hubby enjoyed the garlic noodles too. The coconut coffee SO good. Even if you're full, get it for later. If you're a coconut lover like me, you will not be disappointed. It's good the next morning too. Service was great and the interior is aesthetically pleasing. Their sister restaurant is Saigon Oi which is equally amazing.

We came here for a birthday lunch and I could say the experience maybe could haven been better. The filet mignon was really good! Flavorful, tender and great portions. The pho also was really good and well presented. Where they lost me was the customer service & chicken sandwiches. The chicken had a lot of fat & tendons, I personally prefer a clean cut breast & maybe this is just a personal preference. There was no chili sauce, hoisin or soy sauce which I'm usually used to. I also didn't notice any pate on the sandwich, but maybe again it's just something I'm used to. We ordered some egg rolls and we never got those as well. They came by for water refills once. We got there a little after our party and they asked if we were ready and said no but then we found ourselves having to get up to order and ask questions because no one was coming by our table. Then we didn't get more things like napkins. I personally wouldn't come back and will probably try our some other Vietnamese restaurants in the area. But if you never been it's worth maybe checking out for your own experience !

This restaurant is surprisingly big for its location. The parking spaces are a bit tight and can be limited, depending on how busy the area is. The menu is pretty small. The lemongrass chicken with rice was really good. It was flavorful without being too salty. The chicken was not dry, and the portion was perfect. The bánh khọt was good as well! It was the perfect crispy appetizer. The only downside was that we had to ask a few times for the sauce and vegetables that come with it. It wasn't too busy, but our food came out at random times instead of all at once. Other than that, the staff was friendly.

We came in for lunch and was able to find parking in the small parking lot. It's located next to Temple coffee. The restaurant was spacious and clean. The service was attentive. We ordered the lemongrass, chicken and pho. Good sized portions and dishes were full of flavor. We also had their coconut dessert which was refreshing.

Ample parking in front of this beautiful restaurant. The decor inside is modern and clean. I came with my colleagues close to kitchen closing time and the servers were able to accommodate our party of 5. Items we ordered: -Banh Khot 5/5: crispy, big shrimp pieces, with the most delicious dipping sauce -Fish Sauce wings 3.5/5: flavorful but a bit dry -Pho 5/5: flavorful broth with yummy toppings -Shaking beef with red rice 3/5: rice was a bit dry and beef could have been more tender -Shaking beef with garlic rice 3/5: garlic noodle could be more savory and beef could be a bit tender Thai tea was creamy and sweet just how I like it. Overall, cute place to eat food with friends and family. Service was great!

Sister restaurant to Saigon oi and honestly they didn't disappoint. They're located in a smaller plaza but there's plenty of parking. We went at 5pm and got seated very fast but it got pretty busy! Service is amazing! Super friendly

My husband and I came to this place for the first time. We seen before and had my eye on it. So we tried and OmG!! It was delicious. Food was excellent though it has very small menu I love it cause every meal they have I know they put their love in it. Fantastic. The people working there amazing! The place is new and well put together. Do I recommend here?? Absolutely!!

I like Saigon Oi, which is the sister restaurant to Me's kitchen, so knew I wanted to try this eventually. I waited until the crowd died down from their grand opening and I'm glad I did since there was a barely a wait when I went here. They are located across the street from Loehmans plaza by the ice cream parlor shop. Parking is okay. They seem to have decent parking space that is shared with other shops in the plaza, but it was not busy when I went so parking might be harder to find if they are busy. Inside the restaurant, it is really clean and has decent seating and space. I like the decorations here. Service is great. The servers took our order and brought everything out at a decent pace. They brought us everything we asked for and checked in regularly as well. For the food, I got the roasted chicken. Others in my party got the pho, the Bo Ne, which is what they are known for and egg rolls. Everything was great. My roasted chicken did get dry and parts of it was borderline like chicken jerky. The nouc Cham that came with it and the rice helped. It wasn't bad, but the chicken is on the dryer side. The Bo ne is similar to Saigon Oi, so it's still good. The pho I was told was good and hit the spot. It is a bit pricey compared to other shops and even Saigon Oi so I will come here if I cannot make it to the other shops.

Dropped by for Linner after a bungee jump class with some friends. We wanted some Vietnamese food. The restaurant is roomy and very pretty. Plenty of seating. Service was good. They took our order promptly but items came out a bit scattered. Veggies that comes with certain dishes took awhile to come out after the initial food but that's ok. Must have some patience here. My friend and I shared an appetizer plate called Banh khot. That was crunchy and delicious with a good sized shrimp on top! Was great wrapped in a lettuce leaf and dipped in the umami fish sauce. We shared two entrees . The Me's kitchen pho .. which was so rich in flavor and full of proteins! All the meats were delicious and the veggies were fresh. Our second entree was the banh mi chao combo. That was so tasty! So many items inside the hot plate to pick from. It's to be eaten with bread. So good! Only set back is the parking lot is a bit odd and parking spots are tiny. You're sure to get door dings lol

5/22/26 Me's kitchen grand opened in January 2026 and showcased a couple of dishes that I normally crave to have when I'm too lazy to make it at home. My family have dined at the sister establishment Saigon Oi in south sac without me and shared it was ok so I never made the trek to try it myself. We came by for dinner to meet up with some friends yesterday evening around 6:30. Located with a shared parking lot, Service was welcoming, we were seated immediately at a table for 7 without ressies. Decor was modern and everything looked new still almost 6 months after opening. Menus were left on the table. It was a bit on the higher price side for mediocre Vietnamese food in this area. Noting only my family of (3) orders ...didn't want to intrude on our guests food with our camera eating their food first...LOL $8 SINH TỔ DỪA Coconut slushie Server did say it came topped w/ peanuts and asked if there were allergies which was appreciated. I was told it was OK and very creamy and sweet $8 KHOAI LANG CHIÊN Sweet Potato Fries Tasted ok, served with ketchup. $18 BANH KHỌT Vietnamese Mini Pancakes Came out hot on a sizzling cast iron platter with a basket of 3 lettuce, mint and cilantro and dipping sauce. Tasted ok, a bit too oily for my preference. $23 BÁNH MÌ CHẢO COMBINATION Filet Mignon, Meatball, Pork Roll, Egg. Pate Served with French Bread - server didn't ask us how we liked our meat at all...entree came out with a chunk of oil (that resembled butter) that didn't melt at all. My oldest son questioned his life choices and ate most of everything but this glob in pic $19 GÀ QUAY Vietnamese Roasted Chicken with red white Rice Partner said it was ok, wouldn't come back for it. The last entree that arrived surprisingly to the entire table was a vegetarian tofu entree. We had to inquire as we hoped they didn't forget as everyone at the table received their food and everyone had a meat/protein that couldn't be served raw. Overall for tonight, nothing stood out really good or really bad. Gratuity auto added to party of 6 or more. Service was good. Restaurant closes at 8pm on a Friday night. They weren't at all busy at any point while we dined there.

MẸ's KITCHEN PHỞ with BEEF BONE and COCONUT COFFEE
    Jeffrey W.

Came here to try the sister restaurant of Saigon Oi. I came on a Saturday afternoon for lunch, and the parking lot was packed! I drove around 3 times and couldn't find a spot. A couple was leaving a coffee shop but another car and I saw them at the same time, and I wasn't in the mood to fight over a spot, so I parked in the plaza across the street. Service was good, they were very attentive and food came out quick. I had their pho with the beef bone, and the broth was very tasty. You can taste the seasoning and aromatics they used. The extra few dollars for the beef bone are worth it in my opinion if you are hungry. My cousin had the Vietnamese Chicken and Garlic Noodles. She said it was good and a nice balance of protein, carb and veggies. I love the coconut coffee at Saigon Oi so I had to try it here. It was interesting that they served it in a glass because I am used to the plastic take out cups from Saigon Oi. Not sure if my memory is deteriorating but I think I liked the coconut coffee from Saigon Oi more because I feel they don't use as much coconut so I tasted more coffee. Nonetheless, the coffee was super strong, the way I like it.

First off customer service was superb and attentive ! Refills on soda and water was frequently asked and they were so patiently allowing me and couple of friends to sit for a bit to chat (it wasn't too busy so we decided to stay for awhile ) Everything we order was fresh ,delicious and portions size was huge! Reading some reviews about prices being a bit in the high side but do remember they use filet migon cut of beef for their dishes The resturant itself was decorative and spacious ! If you in the area worth a stop

The pho with beef bone (extra 3 bucks). Not really worth it for the upgrade. Sauce all kinda mixed together.
    Nick C.

Been going to its parent restaurant, Saigon Oi, for a while and wanted to try this place out. The menu is similar with some variation. The inside of here feels larger than Saigon Oi and for weekend lunch there usually a wait to get a seat. The only thing I hate about the location is the parking is just really small and crowded. Food overall is decent, the pho we really liked but the shaken beef with garlic noodle was plain. It came out to about 50 bucks for both which honestly is on the pricey side of Vietnamese food so I wouldn't make this a weekly place to go to. The pho came with soft fresh noodle and I opted for the extra bone rib (3 bucks more) and it's one size. It looks small when I got it but it was filling. I really like the pho broth as it was really savory and did not feel like it was loaded with salt. The meats that came with it were really soft and tender. It comes with a side of vegetables and sauce. The sauce has spices and hoisin sauce mixed together which want for me. I would prefer the sauces to be separated. 4/5 for taste, 2/5 for price. The shaken beef and garlic noodle as I said was bland. It tasted under salted and did not have any of the marinated flavor that you would expect from shaken beef. Although it was tender, the lacking flavor just killed it for me. Usually with shaken beef there's also a side of sauce for it, it either doesn't come with one or they just didn't give us one. The garlic noodle was bland as well. 2/5 for taste and pricing. Overall, decent and would really only come back for the pho if I really wanted expensive pho. With so many options closer to me in south sac, it'll be a while before I come back.
