He also took a quick look at the skylight that I replaced on my own and offered some recommendations for keeping my roof and roof utilities in good shape. My friend wanted to get his windows tinted at his house so he called Benjamin and he set up a day to come out to San Marcos. We initially told him that the lighting in the garage was not ample for a decent tint job but he told us no problem. Well, the next day as we inspected it, there were tons of bubbles and not just from water, but from dust and even an EYELASH as well as LIGHT GAPS! The tint wasn't even cut to the right size on the easiest windows; the small flat quarter panels, and the brand of the tint was unknown by all tinters I had asked.This immediately told my friend and I that the job was done very poorly. We called him the next day but he refused to answer from my friend's number as he already knew why we were calling but gladly answered any other number we contacted him with. When he finally answered, he asked my friend and I to go to Oceanside so he could inspect it (even though these were his mistakes and he is "mobile"). So we went, and Ben only agreed to do the small, tiny windows and then told us that the lighting was not good enough, even after we had initially told him this. He was so furious by the time we asked if he would honor his warranty to replace the entire tint or give us our money back that he nearly punched me in the face. He walked up to me and said "you're a little cocksucker you know that," and got in his car and left. He would not answer any calls after this. There is NO WARRANTY because he emails you a warranty (as opposed to Llumar who requires your receipt to be stapled to the warranty). The email that you will receive does not link him up to his job because nowhere on it does it have his name/Business name/ or phone number!! This is the worst mobile tinter (and "tinter," period.) I have ever experienced in the many cars I have had tinted. He pays his rent by each job so don't expect him to ever be able to replace any tint and/or get any money back. Please think twice about using Tint1Now.

Corey from Zero Chip Autoglass really got me out of a bind when an errant rock hit my windshield…read more It happened on a Saturday afternoon and the rock put a tiny chip in my windshield. I know how quickly a small crack can easily turn into a larger crack, so I wanted to make sure I got it repaired ASAP. I sent out requests and quotes to a few windshield repair companies, and not only was Corey one of the first and fastest to respond, his price was better than the rest. He also didn't charge me an extra fee to come out because I lived in the same city as him. When he arrived, he was quick and courteous. The entire job took about 10 minutes and you can't even tell, unless you knew, where I was hit. While Corey was working on my windshield, he noted that my headlights were really oxidized from being in the sun. I bought my car brand new in 2006 and had never addressed the issue of my headlights but noticed how dull and foggy they had become. He told me that he could also do my headlights but would have to do so another time as he did not have the tools and cleaner on him. So I called him back next weekend to take care of that for me. Once again, he showed up and got the job done in about 25 minutes! My lights look SO much better now, almost new! Keep in mind, I've had my car for 14 years so it was quite the sight to behold. Long story short, if you're in need of a windshield repair or want your sun-beaten headlights looking like new again, stop reading this review and reach out to Corey from Zero Chip Autoglass. Wow! I called Corey earlier this afternoon and he was able to fit me into his schedule within the…read morenext 4 hours. First things first, customer service -- he's very professional, easy to talk to, to the point and a friendly guy. He kept me updated with texts regarding his ETA and came to my location to do the repairs. I had two rock chips that were previously repaired by a different company that started chipping and spreading. After inspecting my windshield, he noticed a third chip. Good thing he caught it, because I didn't even realize it was there! It took him 30 minutes from start to finish to fix all three chips. Also, I think it's important to mention that he came prepared with his mask. Hire him for your next rock chip repair, you'll be glad you did!

Both were not functioning properly or at all.
