Terrible experience at this tow yard. After our car was totaled in a collision with a semi-truck, we came to pick up our belongings. My 8-month pregnant wife, injured in the crash, was struggling to walk and had to sit down. No staff at the front, gate left open by a tow truck--so I briefly drove in to pick her up. The owner immediately started yelling, "Who told you you could drive in my yard?" My wife explained she was pregnant and in pain, but he talked over her, saying he "understood" but it was a "big no-no" and we had to leave. Zero compassion for a pregnant woman in distress. Absolutely the worst towing experience I have ever had. The driver showed up yelling and using foul language. Completely unprofessional and aggressive for no reason. I have never been treated that way by any service provider. I specifically told them my vehicle is all-wheel drive, yet they sent the wrong type of tow truck -- not once, but twice. How does that even happen? It's basic information. It wasted my time and made an already stressful situation even worse. When I called customer service, Angelia was incredibly rude, dismissive, and refused to actually listen. Zero customer service skills. No accountability. No attempt to fix their mistake. I would rather push my car 7 miles than have AAA send Angelos Towing ever again. I've had my AAA membership for 28 years, and this experience has me seriously considering canceling it if this is the kind of company they contract with. Do NOT use Angelos Towing. read more

My battery was bunk so i called AAA. It felt like the tech they sent me was there before i even hung up the phone, he was so fast! My tech was amazing, very fast, very polite & professional and educated me on everything. He took the time to listen to all my dumb questions and gave me really thorough explanations. I asked him to just replace the battery, went inside to make a coffee and he was done before i could bring him his glass. I am still in shock by how fast and convenient it all was. And for them to come out and do it right then and there only costs like $20/$30 bucks more than if you just bought one and installed it yourself. Highly recommend! After waiting an hour and a half they showed up, but I had requested a flatbed they didn't bring a flatbed. I called the company and they said there was no order for a flatbed. I called AAA back and they said they definitely ordered a flatbed the guy was rude on the phone And I called AAA to find out when I could expect a tow they called Angelo's and Angelo's said they declined after I've waited by this time 2 1/2 hours. RIP OFF! Intentionally refused to verify that my car was in their system despite CHP telling me it was who towed it!! I could easily have ubered to them before the car was kept after close but they wouldn't verify that there was a car w those plates or description. They stalled so they could get over night fee. They said if you call back at 7:00 closing time I could come get it for an extra $175 after hours fee! So it was either wait for them to acknowledge they had it ( which they knew they did) and pay late fee or pay overnight fee and towing charge... $600. Thru Also told me they were not affiliated w AAA and would take cash for a slight discount! RIP OFF CHEATING not the American way type business!!! read more

If I could put 0 stars I would. This towing company is irresponsible and doesn't take accountability for the damage their driver caused to my car. They were contacted through AAA to tow, when he arrived he loaded my car onto the tow's bed, he than began to lift the tow bed without securing my car onto the tow. As he lifted the tow bed he caused my car to roll forward and hit a metal frame around the back window of the tow truck. After that hit, he secured my car. I couldn't see the damage in that moment since it was still touching the metal frame. Once he got to my mechanic's shop I received a call from my mechanic that this driver had once again damaged my car when he unloaded off the tow truck. Some how he unhooked it and it rolled back hitting my mechanics parked truck. It has been more than a month and they keep dodging my insurance company and when I called they acted as if they had no idea of the incident. This driver is also the one responsible in the incident in Vista, where he backed the tow truck into another car and was arrested for suspicion of being under the influence. read more

Needed a new AAA battery, and AAA sent out Amir? from Angelos. The truck arrived 20 minutes after I called, about 20 minutes before AAA said it would take. The young man Angelos sent will go very far in life, wonderful attitude, very accommodating, gracious and was able to remove and replace my battery, while checking my cables and alternator in short order.
