We had the pleasure of dealing with Michael and when I say pleasure, I mean that in the utmost sarcasm I can muster. Let's just say I've seen more personality from a brick wall and the brick wall would be less rude. It all started when we had a car park in our driveway illegally. We called to have the car towed and when Michael got there, the fun started. He started the conversation out by not even acknowledging my greeting and handed me a paper to fill out and said where to fill. Once that was taken care of, he asked for my ID, which was fine, but he then started having a fit when he was verifying my info on the paper. He's issue was with my phone number having an LA area code. He kept going over that he wouldn't tow the car if the info wasn't correct and that the number couldn't be mine because it's from LA. I tried to explain that the number was a good number to reach me and I even gave a work number that's an OC number. He then said that he was done and wouldn't tow the car. Long story short, he left and we worked with a company called S&K Towing. Far better experience to say the least. read more

They came out to pick up my car through AAA as they are an authorized agent. I made arrangments with AAA so i did not have to be with the car at the pick up point. When the guy for the towing arrived he was very rude and would not pick up the car and just got in his truck and left , saying it was not their policy to pick up cars without the owner being present. If it was OK with AAA and had been arranged then why would they accept the tow and waste my time and theirs as well?? They had to pay that driver and the gas in their tow truck to get nothing in return!! Go figure. All they needed to do was communicate with people and this would have worked out for all parties. In all, why accept the tow if your not going to follow the rules set by AAA. read more

Awful. Told it would be 150$ and an hour wait for someone to come open my locked car. Called after an hour and told me "whoops we should have let you know sooner, it's going to be another hour." Do not recommend. Called another company who quoted a 50$ lower price and will be here in twenty minutes. read more

The alternator died in my car while me and my family were in Oceanside for a family event. I called Saturday and explained the situation. They recommended a mechanic who was more than efficient. Highly recommended to anyone in need of help and a tow in the Oceanside area. read more

I got my car towed late in the night and when I went in the morning, Debby was there and was super helpful to the customers in front of me and myself. She was so understanding and made this whole process a DELIGHT. I had to come back twice and it was such a great interaction both times. Only saving grace was that they gave us a $20 discount. My husband called to get my car towed at 10:04am. They said 60-75 minutes. We waited 80 minutes and the guy said the truck would be there in another 10-15 minutes after WE called to check in. It was also 80 degrees outside and I was roasting in my car that I couldn't turn the air on. 20 minutes later and we're still waiting, the tow truck guy called me at 12:04 which is an hour after they said it'd arrive and said 15 more minutes. He didn't get there for 30 minutes and then didn't even know where he was taking it. He said he'd call me when he dropped it off and never did. I had to call my mechanic to make sure he had it. After the tow truck picked it up like 20 minutes later the company calls me and asks me if I want to leave a tip, I said no because we were waiting for two and a half hours for a truck. He got rude so I said my husband would call to talk about it because I was finally at work. My husband called and he told my husband they weren't even that late but we have time stamp phone calls. The tow company called me back and said they'd give a minuscule $20 off the $290 we were paying, we were initially told on the first phone call it'd be like $250 I think too. Just not worth the money, I'm never letting my AAA lapse again. read more

ABC Towing towed my car after an accident where I had no access to any items inside my vehicle, stored my car at their yard over night, and stole a very expensive pair of Ray Bans from my vehicle and overall gave me very poor customer service. When I complained of the incident over the phone with the receptionist, I was belittled and was not given any information by my representative. I called them to ask if someone would be able to come help me unlock my car door or tow if needed, I was told they wouldn't do it because it is in Carlsbad and then I was hung up on. Started out well for a Friday evening. Driver persuaded my wife to use a closer repair shop than we had originally planned based upon it being closer and a AAA approved facility. Turns out the shop closes for the weekend and our car was held hostage over the weekend as no way to get it back!! The service was good, not sure if there's some kickback scheme with the drivers but NOT impressed. only one driver had access to the yard and he was out of town. Called AAA for a tow and these bozo's were sent out. The driver was too lazy to get out of his truck and use his winch to pull my car out from a low clearance garage. Then the mexican't driver claimed he would have another unit dispatched, instead he sped off in a huff and put a do not service notice in on my call. I hope Triple A will no longer hire these lazy incompetent clowns in the future. I would not accept a tow from them under any circumstances. read more

What an awesome experience!! I had lost my car keys and since my car was newer it was a huge problem to get a key made for it. ABC Towing is a AAA approved towing company. I had to call AAA multiple times in one month to tow my veichles, and every time ABC was very careful my cars as they are all custom/lowered veichles. I will be asking for these guys by name in the future. Great service and friendly drivers. read more

Had a minor battery problem today. Had installed new battery myself this morning, but it was loose and wobbly and I couldn't get it secured. Called my insurance company for roadside assistance when I had a flat tire. Was told it would be 45 minutes to an hour wait. Mike showed up in 15 minutes and had the tire changed in 15 minutes! WOW, was so impressed with his professionalism and great attitude! For a guy who's been doing this for 42 years I'd say he loved his job. You know how it is... Your almost brand new car won't start after a long afternoon at the pool; the kids are already hyper, hungry and getting wackier by the second; you call your wife and ask her drive across town to pick you up; then you call AAA and are put on hold for much longer than seems necessary for a service you pay for; your wife finally arrives and takes the (by now very loopy) kids to get emergency fast food (and you don't ever eat fast food. nope.) while you wait for this *%#£Ing tow truck to finally arrive, and so far it's been two hours since this all began and oh my god will this ever end?? And then.... nice as pie... Sarah drives up in her ABC truck. And she's swift. And precise. And careful. And most of all, has a smile and cheerfulness that melts the awfulness away. The kids gasp in appreciation as they watch her winch the car to her truck, and she chats with them and shows them what she's doing. You dutifully follow her in your wife's car to the shop where she regales you with phone pictures of the cars she's restoring before she bids you good luck and goes on her way to save someone else.
