This place is great! They don't take appointments for eyebrow threading, but this was hardly a problem because nobody else was there when I came on a weekday morning. The lady there got to work right away to clean up my eyebrows. It had been a while, so I definitely appreciate the help! She did my arch beautifully, and she was super receptive when I wanted a little more taken off. There was very little discomfort, and it only cost $11! Went in for the first time yesterday for a brow threading and it's safe to say that this is definitely going to be my new spot! The salon is adorable and has a super chill atmosphere and most importantly my eyebrows look amaaaazing. I get mine threaded a little thinner and the stylist (who I'm pretty sure is the owner) was very attentive and followed my instructions perfectly and painlessly - seriously a minimal amount of discomfort during the whole, quick process. I would like to give 0 stars for this place. If you are fine with having the skin peeled during waxing and be left with the wound this is the place to go. This is after me telling her to me gentle while ripping the wax off. I repeated it twice at least since it was painful and burning. The woman there applied an 'Aloe Gel' on the wound and it felt like acid. She said that is some old gel that they always have. They not only injure their customers but also use old/no good products to apply on them. Cherry on the top - The woman ran off to attend the next customer while I was in the bathroom cleaning and inspecting my wound. She didn't even say sorry or took time to attend me while I was in so much pain. I had friends over for the long weekend and everyone had to ask me what happened to my face! Great weekend at the cost of this place. I am wondering how to sue this place for the pain they have caused physically & mentally. It is NOT OK to hurt people, if you don't know how to do the job, it's best to say so. It not only looked awful but it actually hurt while eating and chewing since it was upper, lower jaw and chin. I wonder if these people are trained to do waxing and if they have good products to use. There are other good places who have good and considerate people working. I did not have a positive outcome at this place, which left me feeling upset, but I'm glad others have had positive experiences here and I hope that others that go here will have a positive experience as well. With that being said, I was not saying mean and hateful things about this business and I certainly wasn't posting false (or illegal) pictures. I simply posted a picture of my eyebrows when I got in my car after getting them threaded here last week. I've worked hard to grow/maintain a thicker brow over the years, and while I've had my fair share of threading or waxing done so that I can keep them shaped up, I've never had this much hair taken off at one time (I am specifically talking about my one eyebrow). It made me feel like all those years went to waste as my eyebrow was the thinnest it's been in years. I'm not sure why the owner felt the need to say they know my picture was false or that I'm defaming my character by not posting a before picture without makeup on (what does that even mean, that I've defamed my character if there's no makeup free before picture posted?!). Either way, as the reader, I just wanted to share my own experience and how I felt afterward!* I feel devastated. I've been growing my eyebrows out for many years now after over plucking them several years ago. I even haven't touched them in 9 months to help them grow more. I've gotten my eyelashes lifted and tinted twice now at the Cranberry Twp location (and once at a place by my apartment in Florida). The two times I've come here, I've left extremely happy with the results and prefer to have my lashes lifted/tinted here rather than the other location. They stayed lifted for about 8 weeks without looking any different (the average length of time is 6 weeks). Purchased a Groupon for eyebrow threading. Called to see if an appointment was necessary and it was not. When I arrived there was a client finishing up so I got in the chair quickly. My eyebrows had not been done in a while so there were nearly full grown. When I left they looked amazing. This was the worst of all the 5 amazing experiences at Spooled Rotten Eyebrows. The Indian lady who works as an employee didn't know at all about the threading packages. Upon enquiring if I can use three sessions over a period of 4-6 months or if there is an expiry date to the package; she had no idea. She kept saying that normally people do once a month. I don't care how frequently others do, but I do it once 45 days generally. It would have been better if she had answered to what asked. Also, when I checked in the yelp offer of gel lip/eye mask, I told her that I am eligible for this service too. To this as well, she had no idea. She said I don't know what is this and clicked on "offer redeemed" on my phone without giving a consent that she would be providing that check in offer. And when I asked why did she clicked on redeem, she replied arrogantly that I will give mask, full face mask. Oh, cmon! Gimme a break. I am not asking for favors. Just asking for your salon offers. You are doing no favors to me. These instances showed that she might be not aware of the salon practices and guildelines. However, when I told her I am a student and showed her my ID card, she was quick enough to ask for the date on my card which my University typically doesn't mention on the student ID. To top it all, let me not forget to mention that she did a horrible job of eyebrow threading with the lady before me. She turned her eyebrows into a thin pencil line and when I asked her to just remove extras for my eyebrows, she said I don't know. People come and have different opinions. I don't care much. I mean, really, you don't care. Even after all of this, I gave her a tip of 10% to not waive her off her rights and benefits. If we care for you, at-least care a bit for your customers. If you don't serve them well because you are not the owner of the salon, don't expect them to return even though other employees and owner are doing the very best of their abilities to give a world-class experience. This salon minus this employee is definitely a 5 star. Humble request to Spooled Rotten Eyebrows owner/ manager to either train her about the offers and services and especially how to CARE for customers or the other option, you know very well. read more

Granted, it is new- it opened recently. I had a little bit of a tough time finding it. Once I did though, everything went smoothly. They treat their customers like crap! I made a follow up appointment three weeks ago! Today I got a phone call from the esthetician Lindsay who said I was double booked. Why did it take three weeks to contact me? Why should I have to wait two additional weeks to get a touch up? I don't feel valued as a customer and would NOT suggest this place unless you like feeling invalid as a customer! Spooled Rotten does not treat their customers with professionalism. Now that you responded...its my fault that you cannot use your reservation system? My appointment was set for April 2nd and your office suggested that I change my appointment to April13th after I was confirmed for April 2nd!! 2 weeks later!!! I also I have an international trip planned as well and was not given choices but rather bullied into taking an appointment that didn't fit my schedule! Shame on you for continuing to make me feel less than par! Beautification is a conscious decision and I chose the WRONG PLACE!!!! Additionally, I was hung up on by your salon!!!
