Because of this I went to Laura's studio and had Laura herself microblade my brows. Pros: Scheduling is easy, it is all online. I had an appointment for a Saturday. Studio is clean, friendly, and welcoming. Laura is prompt, creative, and a great listener. She asked lots of questions about my lifestyle and what brows I was hoping to get. I said, whatever you think is best because let's face it, I don't know what to do with them. Painless! Laura put on numbing cream so I legit didn't feel anything. It felt like someone was drawing on my brows with a dull pencil. Cons: None! I just hope none of you reading this actually go because I have plans to get my eyeliner done and I don't want you to take all of her time up. She's my secret so shhhh! Seriously though, I've had 20 +people compliment my brows and they are still healing. It takes about two weeks before you can get them really wet or treat them like they really yours. (She goes over all of the after care with you in depth and she's so quick on email replies). Before you go to your first appointment, READ THE BEFORE CARE email she sends. I have been wanting this done for years and the process is a pretty penny. If you don't adhere by the guidelines then you won't be able to have the coolest brows of your life so do yourself a favor and follow her directions. Also, I was worried about going out afterwards and looking crazy with a red forehead but I wasn't red at all! I went out and just looked like I really knew what to do with my brows.

Since moving to Pittsburgh 3 months ago, I have been looking for eyebrow threading to no avail…read more After not finding anywhere in town, today I decided I would drive the 12 miles all the way to the Ross Park Mall after work. However, when I arrived to the store at 8:15pm I was turned away by the woman working there. There were three women ahead of me. I continued to wait for two of the customers ahead of me completed to be completed, at which time it was still only 8:30pm. The woman again said she would not take me. When I told her that it was only 8:30 and her shop closed at 9 according to the website and the signs in her store, she told me sorry and that I would have to leave. The service takes about 5-7 minutes. It does not make sense to turn someone away before 10 minutes until closing, in my opinion. I am mostly disappointed that I wasted my time and gas driving so far for no service at all. I will not return, but I hope they either adjust their advertised hours, since the store effectively closed at 8:15pm or address this issue with the person working there in the evenings. I suspect their threading services are good, but I am afraid I cannot refer others here due to this poor service. The search continues... why is there no threading available in town in Pittsburgh??
