Knew from the minute I walked in was going to get the best care and quality. I spent a lot of time (5 1/2hrs) and ALOT of money for these services. With in the 30min drive home lashes had fallen while i was driving, when I got home I noticed more and that I had visible loose lashes laying on my eye lid. I informed her immediately and she offered to replace/repair. With my pending schedule I informed her that I wouldn't be available for a while. We agreed on a date. By the next morning many many more had fallen off leaving obvious spaces and gaps. Informed her again of the situation. Keeping her abreast of the issues. By evening they were a disaster, just over 24hrs after having them applied. At this point I asked for a refund as I didn't feel confident of a reoccurrence. She refused and she also expressed some very colorful accusations against me. We have been in contact several times after the fact and yes I did again agree to allow her to redo them but upon further consideration of her very poor attitude towards my experience, and less than professional behavior after the fact, I again informed her that I was not confident that the same thing wouldn't happen again and requested a refund for the lash service only. She has refused, only will do a corrective service if there's an issue. Can't correct something that doesn't exist. Of course she blames me for not dropping everything in my schedule to have her fix the issue immediately. Even if I could have done as she wanted, the process would not have been a simple "fast fix" Refund still refused. Hopefully others have a more rewarding experience for the expense but my experience has been ugly and very discouraging. She also spoke poorly to me about another client who posted a bad review about her so I'm sure she will also do the same about me. Especially since I initially gave her a great review and have since deleted it.

She added more lashes "just because" which I was more than grateful for. Prior to leaving I was given information on after care. As stated above I decided to to write a review because I wanted to see how the lashes held up. I am more than pleased to say since Tuesday I have only lost one lash!!! I have got a ton of compliments, in addition to loving the look myself!!!

SOS-Don't go! I never post reviews, so you can imagine how…read moreupsetting this situation was for me. I had a very disappointing experience with Amanda. My appointment had already been rescheduled from 10:00 to 11:15, and then she was still late coming in. I had driven an hour for this eyebrow appointment after 6 months of completing five sessions of laser removal and $500 later. While mapping my eyebrows, she stopped to talk to a technician next to me about a biblical/scripture story for at least eight minutes. I felt that discussing religion in a professional setting--especially when the client is essentially stuck in the chair--was inappropriate, and quite frankly, I just didn't want to hear it. I politely told her it was making me uncomfortable and anxious, and that I wanted to focus on finishing my brows. Instead of acknowledging my request, she told me she could not continue because SHE felt anxious, and then refused to do my brows, saying she would refund my money. This was especially frustrating because I had already been told she was moving and only available once a month, which made getting this appointment completed all the more important. I feel her actions were unprofessional and inconsiderate toward a client who had invested significant time, money, effort, and travel. A simple "I'm sorry, no problem" would have gone a long way in resolving the situation. For context, as soon as my friend heard Amanda was moving, she scheduled with someone else--and in hindsight, I wish I had done the same. She refused to reschedule my appointment and left me with NO BROWS. Very unethical. I should have read the reviews first-I am not the only one with issues with Beneath The Surface.
