I came in with eyebrows I've been trying to grow back for over a month due to a total botch job from a local chain hair salon. I was nervous coming here since I knew nothing about the place or any of the stylists. However I figured my eyebrows couldn't get any worse, so I gave it a shot. I'm not sure how she did it but my eyebrows are already starting to look like they did before after just one wax. She also filled them in afterwards. Looking forward to my next visit so Kate can work some more of her magic into my brows. Also, first wax for new customers is Free! That was an awesome surprise.

The lady at the front desk was friendly and welcomed me since it was my first time there she walked me to the waiting area. I sat in the waiting area for the entire duration of what was supposed to be my booking time. Eden never came out to provide the service that I was booked for. I went back to the front desk and told them that I was leaving because I had to be somewhere and that I was expecting to be done in the allotted time for my appointment. She said "oh she never came out and got you" and I said no that's why I'm leaving. Needless to say this was not a good first experience and I was very disappointed.

I selected the stylist Salta, whose picture on the website appeared so sweet (wrong assumption),…read moreand then booked an appointment. Upon arrival, I was whisked back to the shampoo area and plopped down for a shampoo without being asked, while my hair was still dry, what I was looking for regarding my haircut. No consult at all. It became obvious that there was no curiosity regarding my style request. Therefore, I made sure to specifically, and in full detail, describe exactly what I wanted before she began with the scissors. For some unknown reason, my style request brought about laughter and mockery? However, I ignored this rudeness and hoped for the best. I did not get the best. Once my hair was dry, I was unceremoniously run out of the hair cutting area by the stylist and not asked to take a look at the outcome, presumably so she could move onto the next victim. Upon arrival back home, I closely reviewed the cut and saw that it was clearly uneven in several different areas. I pulled out my own scissors and decided that I would attempt to "fix" it. That was not working at all so I knew that I would have to book another appt somewhere else. I spent an hour the next day reviewing "reviews" of local stylists at other salons...and...by the grace of God, found an incredible stylist. BTW, the new stylist was stunned at the ineptitude of the cut that I had received the day before, noticing also that the underneath layer of my hair was actually shorter than the top layer? This story has a happy ending because I found a fantastic stylist who is actually kind and super sweet. And she also took the time to carefully listen to my hairstyle request and gave me the best haircut of my life! Yay!

Unfortunately upon arriving, I was greeted by the receptionist who check me in clearly seeing I had my daughter with me and told me I could have a seat and wait. After waiting 10-15mins, I was then greeted by the stylist who should have done my service to be told they have a strict NO CHILDREN or guest policy and that the policy was sent over to me prior to the appointment via email. That if I could have someone pickup my daughter and they could perform the service. First I would like to address the fact the policy was not sent to me via email because upon booking they did not ask for my email. Secondly how disappointing that this is a women owned business and they chose to implement a no children policy. Sadly I can not base this review on a service that was performed but only on customer service and policy and I would not recommend this business based solely on the policies and the way this situation was handled.
