I've been coming here since 2016 and there was only one time I had a bad experience. It was when I made an appointment showed up on time Nd had to wait more than 20 minutes for anything to be started. That said, this place has totally got me- my nail woman, Katie, is honestly the best. I do SNS dip and she will mix colors to make one I want or use a combo of dip and gel to create the color. She pushes me to try color and nail design, which usually gets noticed by friends and random people. The vibe is relaxed and friendly. I made an appointment for 3 PM - I was told to have a seat when two customers walked in after me (1 was 20 minutes after me) and both were seated before me. I walked out at 3:22 after realizing I was not going to be waited on. Went in for an acrylic removal and it was the worst nail salon experience I have ever had. The man who did the service did not even attempt to soak off my acrylics with acetone, he just used the drill on my nails until it burned and broke the skin around my cuticles. To top it off, he sprayed my hands with alcohol that burned the fresh cuts HE made. read more

I went to this salon twice after moving to Pittsburgh from Georgia. I needed to get my nails done after moving here and found this nail salon near where I live. I have always had SNS manicure done back in GA and I'm used to the routine nail procedure. To be honest , this nail salon was a little expensive- $10 more than what I usually paid in GA but I gave this salon a try anyways. The second time I visited this salon, the lady nail technician price gouged me for an extra $10 more for the exact SNS manicure that I did the first time over at their salon ! My nails were not even shaped straight! I was frustrated and angry that I don't have my nails done right and had to pay more ! This salon is on my Black list for sure ! read more

Was super excited to get a new set of acrylics done for the beach. I told the technician what i wanted and she completely disregarded what i said, tried to get me to do what she thought was healthier for my nails. took two hours & ive never experience what I went through at the nail salon. Totally was not worth it, the price for the service I got . They also broke after a week, which has never happened to me. My nails were so thin, I felt it burning as she was using the buffer. I came here last Saturday to have my nails done. Tina did them and I asked for dip nails. She seemed to not be very knowledgeable on dip and kept pausing and looking for things. It took forever & she had to sand my nails with the drill to fix the uneven powder on my nails. I was leery about the durability of dip but she assured me that they would last 3-4 weeks and I could come back to soak off and get new dip. Can I tell you that in 4 days 3 of my nails had cracks in them and were lifting , chipping away. By day 5 they started popping off. I paid $50, yes FIFTY DOLLARS. For nails that didn't even last a week. Needless to say I will never be coming back here, and j wouldn't recommend this salon to anyone. I am super annoyed & out a decent amount of money for nothing. read more

On my way home from work I will stop in for the occasional mani/pedi. The staff is really friendly. They will chat if you are in the mood but if you want to stare in to a blank abyss while they are rubbing your feet they won't judge you. Mani/pedi are 3 star worthy, long and relaxing but chip quickly. Eye brow waxing are 5 stars. Pros: never a wait, affordable, clean, friendly, solid colors, private room when you can lay down to get your brows did Cons: Nails chip easily (might try the gel mani next time) Overall: Solid nail spot. I gave them another chance after destroying my nails and building my acrylic on my cuticle but this was the last straw. Every one of my nails is crooked. On top of that I showed them a picture of what I wanted as soon as I got there and at the end he said they couldn't do it even though one of the techs had exactly what I wanted done. Then another woman said if I wanted French I should've told them sooner but French was my second choice after learning they "couldn't" do what I wanted. They also all talked around and over me instead of to me about what I wanted. I left without any polish. Won't be back. And the service at Luxor their sister store is just as bad. read more

I've moved away from the area and I now miss this place! I highly recommend it. One of the cleanest nail salons I've been to. Friendliest and most outgoing staff. I've been going for over two years and most of that has been getting gel manicures. They do a great job cleaning the cuticles and shaping the nails. Polish is applied precisely (I've had salons get it on the cuticles or skin before). Only complaints on the gel manicure are that it's the most expensive I've had: $32. But I can usually get close to three weeks of wear out of that. Also, the polishes themselves can be hit or miss. I have a favorite color and they were out for awhile one time and another someone actually poured another color in the bottle. I've had the pedicures a few times as well. Also, usually great but just a few more dollars than most places charge. read more

This is the WORST nail salon I've ever been to! Long story short I called in advanced and asked if they would stay open if I tipped 25$ n they said yes I got there at 7.25 they close at 8pm I stood at the front for 5mins had to call the store to get someone's attention. She finally came to me and said 10mins I had to ask her what she met. So I had to wait 10mins "no biggie" but when they got to me we asked me to get gel nails I didn't want gel nails Bc I wanted to use this new dust powder I forgot at my house. Plus I knew it cost more. N I explained that to her she rolled her eyes and said well it's faster and we close soon. She wasn't even ready for me when I got there.. and I was tipping her extra for staying open for me. Then when I told her I wanted sharp pointy nails she cuts them to short and rounds them out. After I realized they weren't what I wanted I showed her a pic n she got pissed it's not like I didn't explain what I wanted in the beginning. I told her if you fix it I'll give you a bigger tip than planned I just wanted what I wanted n didn't mind paying for it. I explained that as well she yelled at me n said idc about the money you were here before close.. then she took my short busted nails off and said I can leave.. I rushed to get there just to be treated like trash. I felt uncomfortable from the start but still tried to stick it out Bc I really wanted my nails done n I planned on taking care of the person that took care of me. Instead I got talked about as I sat there and yelled at while she wasn't even ready for me when I got there.. seriously worst place I ever walked into. Idk how anyone gos back. They need to take a manners class Bc they have none. I'm a paying customer and I damn good one but I will never go back and I will tell everyone about my horrible experience. Came in a month ago and my nails were PERFECT. Went back for a refill last week and the polish is already chipping and the acrylic is already separating from my nail bed. Called to get them redone and was told to come in at 6:30. Showed up early and 2 people had me show them what was wrong with my nails. Waited up to 25 minutes for someone to come back and tell me to come back the next day since the woman who did my refill wasn't in.... will not be coming back and will be taking my service elsewhere read more

I wanted to take my team for a fun little pampering off-site, Allen's Spa had some great Yelp reviews, so without having been, we decided to try it out. It's a spacious and clean place. The nail technicians were friendly and thorough. It is a little pricey (used to CA and NY prices) but it's worth it. I'll definitely go back to treat myself again. read more

Been coming here for about 2 years now and my nails are always perfect. I always get SNS and it holds up for 3-4 weeks without any issues at all and the prices are super comparable. I will give this place 3 stars. I made a reservation for 8 to get mani pedis the day before a friends wedding. I made it about a month in advance and called a couple days before to confirm the appointment time (11am). When we arrived staff was not aware a party was coming in, and there were 4-5 people having services done. This resulted in waiting 30-40 minutes to get started while, and less staff to help with our party. The bride ended up getting done almost last, and her nails were still getting done at 1:15 when I left (gel polish). Overall my manicure turned out fine and the facility was overall nice, but I booked this place because they note on their website they accommodate large parties and it didn't really go to plan. read more

Very clean and nice place. The tech took his time and did my nails well. The only thing is he out the wrong SNS color on and I kind of hate it. It took forever tho - almost 1 hour 45 min to do a full set. Will probably go back again as I like the SNS better than the acrylic I had, but I just wish the color was different for now and for $45. read more

There needs to be a little more attention to details of cleaning up after the customer before you sit someone down. Paid $45 for a dip manicure. I didn't even get a nail soak, cuticle cut or a good file. The place is over priced and the technician I had obviously doesn't know how to give a manicure. The dip looks okay, besides it could've used some more color since it was such a light nude shade. The tech also didn't do well on my one pinky, it looks morphed and very wide. I went to the salon and i got dip powder the guy didn't cut my cuticles he filed them of put my tips are see through were the tips are and the next day all my nails fell off. and they charged me extra for a mistake the dude made. dont go there unless you want to waste your money and my best friend was there with me and the lady doing her nails didnt try to respond to my friend even tho they were having a conversation. read more
