Throughout the appointment Rebekah kept checking in with how I was doing and if I needed anything. She was great! Honestly, the 3 hrs flew by. Their chair is super comfy I was just relaxing there haha. When she finished, she showed me the lashes. They look phenomenal. Literally exactly what I wanted. I have received exceptional service for eye brow threading, Brazilian waxing, and my personal favorite, eye lash extensions. Over the last few years I have become accustom to the BEST and I refuse to book with anyone else. I typically get the "dramatic set" of lash extensions with a combination of 17-19mm lashes in length, and more recently the hybrid sets are my favorite. Courtney is personable so you are always comfortable when being serviced. The lash chairs are super relaxing and the soft blankets make the experience even better. Some people like to take a nap during their lash service, and Glow Studio makes napping a comfortable option. If you prefer to stay awake during your lash set/fill, I know Courtney is down to listen, give advice, or even play music of your choice. I take pride in saying my lash tech is licensed, experienced, and extremely knowledgeable. She's willing to answer any questions you may have. If you are new to the lash world take advantage of asking about lash maintenance, lengths/styles, and even training if you're interested! I have several friends who have attended a Glow Studio lash training class, and they are all successfully taking on clients of their own. While guests were getting their makeup done and learning Spring makeup tips and tricks, we shopped around the boutique. The space is really big, and she curated really cute clothes, jewelry, and accessories. She also sells Jane Iredale makeup which I just learned about for the first time! The clothes were reasonably priced for a boutique, and there was a mix of comfortable basics to dresses. I also loved the waterproof, gold jewelry that she gets from Paris. There is a fitting room in the back, and I tried a couple things on. We browsed through the makeup and skincare products, but really learned a lot when it was our turn to get our makeup demonstration. Lauren the owner and Dessa (another incredible makeup artist) tried different Jane Iredale products on my mom and I. They both did an amazing job! Lauren explained that the Jane Iredale products are clean, vegan, and actually good for your skin. She also told us there is no talc in her products. The eyeshadow blended so nicely and didn't crumble or fall below the eyes. It was fun to learn about and we left with beautiful makeup! We bought a few of the makeup products, and Lauren ordered a BB cream for my mom that she was sold out of. The boutique is comfortable and Lauren is great. I loved that she hosted this party so we could check out the space! It seems like the boutique is really known for their facials. I found out about it from my friend who raved that she got the best facial ever at Vanity Box. I definitely plan to book a service in the future. But, an opportunity presented itself for me to try out a semi permanent lash lift and tint. The salon is in Bloomfield, at a cute little shop. On one side of the shop, is the hair salon. And the other side is for skincare, lashes, and makeup. The person who did my lash lift and tint was Ashlynn. She is very calm and takes her time. She said to me while doing my lashes, that she is sometimes super picky and particular about making sure it is done properly. And she was, but I enjoyed that about her. The process was not long. I was out of there in a hour. She also talks you through the process, so you know exactly what she is doing. Your eyes are closed the entire time. So it is nice to at least know what is going on, step by step. I love my lashes and will definitely return to have my lash lift and tint done by her again. Perhaps if I have a big event, I will get lash extensions by her. But for an everyday look, I prefer the lash lift and tint.
