Right uptown Mt.Lebo, plenty of parking on the street and in a nearby parking garage. The salon itself was very clean, and everyone working was very pleasant from the moment I walked through the door. My hairstylist had her mask on, which I really appreciated. My stylist was Lizzie. We had a mini consult when I first arrived to make a game plan for my mop, and she went to work. Again, my hair is blonde and getting highlights/balayage is always "refreshing" but is never a dramatic change for me. I was pleased to know that my Groupon covered balayage, because foils all the way to my scalp aren't my favorite, especially in the winter months! I've had my hair damaged in the past, so I asked Lizzie 3 or 4 times to check my progress (I was annoying, I'm sure) but I'm glad I did. My hair turned out great. The color was beautiful, and felt completely refreshed. I also really liked how Lizzie cut my hair! After checking out Yelp, I see some reviews here aren't the best. I can say that I had a much different experience than the negative reviews here. With blonde hair, I don't see "mistakes" as easily. Also, I was a hairstylist and was absolutely horrible, and eternally grateful Yelp did not exist when I was a hairstylist, it's truly a very difficult job and people are hypercritical with the way they look.

They temp you on arrival and ask the standard covid questions. My stylist was Kiersten and she was wonderful. Really funny, listened to what I was interested in, and gave great tips. I love my cut, she did an amazing job. The hair color is nice but not quite for me. But that was my fault for not knowing what I wanted in the first place. My blowout was fantastic and left my hair so bouncy and soft. I look forward to returning for another great experience.

As my bridesmaids and I got ready for the big day, laughing, crying and everything in between she was right there with us. I tasked her with creating an updo that covered my ears and was flexible enough I could take my hair down after the ceremony! (I really wanted half up half down, but my wedding was outside and it was 95 degrees.) She did it and it was perfect. My makeup made me look 5 pounds lighter and who doesn't want that on their wedding day! Everyone that sees my photos is shocked by how beautiful I look! Ha! Unfortunately upon arriving, I was greeted by the receptionist who check me in clearly seeing I had my daughter with me and told me I could have a seat and wait. After waiting 10-15mins, I was then greeted by the stylist who should have done my service to be told they have a strict NO CHILDREN or guest policy and that the policy was sent over to me prior to the appointment via email. That if I could have someone pickup my daughter and they could perform the service. First I would like to address the fact the policy was not sent to me via email because upon booking they did not ask for my email. Secondly how disappointing that this is a women owned business and they chose to implement a no children policy. Sadly I can not base this review on a service that was performed but only on customer service and policy and I would not recommend this business based solely on the policies and the way this situation was handled.

Yeah, when your natural eyelashes shed, so there would be one of your lashes attached to the false one. These had none of my lashes and I ended up with a noticeable gap. So they said they had a 5 day policy and since I called on the fifth day (i couldn't call before because of work/life) I had to come in that day. And they only had 1 time which was right when my son was getting off the bus. So it was come in then or not at all and I had to scramble around to try to make arrangements. So I get there and they fixed them. So I thought. The next day, I had 2 fall off and then the next day had 5 more fall off!! I was being super careful with them and I sleep on my back. They were barely glued on. Meghan did them and she is supposed to be a master. I am so upset and have to take them off because my left eye looks so bad with big gaps. Also, the first time around she put the tape way too close to my eye and i woke up the next day and my eyes were sooo bloodshot on the bottom and felt so scratchy for the next 2 days. So I had bad lashes and bloodshot eyes. I feel like i should get a full refund because there is no way this is normal. You don't pay this much for lashes just for most of them to fall off within 3 days. It was hard to get pics to really show the mess that I have on my eyes but I tried. It just wouldn't pick up how they were barely attached. They are all just barely attached to my lashes. This was the worst experience ever and no one should have to pay for lashes that don't stay on for even a full 24 hrs. Deka lash should be ashamed and I want a refund.
