I will be telling as many people as possible to NOT use Ferrellgas, Spokane Valley Washington for…read moreobtaining propane service (for either own RV or residential home or business.) I have been a resident in north Idaho for over 45 years. I know a lot of people and will spread the word as often as I can. They have proven to me to be totally unreliable and not trust-worthy. The brief story is...I called and setup an account with a Spokane Customer Service Representative approximately 45 days ago. My service was to include a small propane tank (120 gallon) to be delivered, setup and filled that would service my 5th wheel located in the Tamarack RV Park in Coeur d'Alene, Idaho. The CSR setup an account, took my credit card information to cover the cost of the deposit, installation and initial fill. I advised the CSR that I was changing spaces within the park the end of October so I needed to wait until I had moved before I wanted service started. She told me to call a week before I was to move and they would schedule the delivery and installation of my service. I called approximately 10 days ago (around 10/15/21) to reconfirm the installation, and ended up talking with someone at their 800 service number. (Turns out the Spokane Valley office is only open half days.) The person answering my call said they would send an email or text to the Spokane Valley office and request that they call me back to provide the status for new upcoming service. I received NO RESPONSE back from the Spokane Valley office. I then called again early today, October 10/24/21 and was able to talk with a person in the Spokane office. The person answering the phone (a very nice new hire) was able to find my account information but unfortunately could not confirm that I was in the schedule to receive my new service. She said she would talk with her boss and get back to me. I received a call back (from the very same, nice, newby) telling me that she was told to explain to me that due to a man power shortage they won't be able to deliver and setup my service until February. For those who are not familiar with winter weather in north Idaho I will briefly explain that it can begin to snow as early as the end of October and temperatures can range from below zero to the mid 50's and given day or week. Living in a 5th wheel RV during the winter has many challenges, but most importantly keeping the heat (propane furnace) operating is key to preventing frozen pipes, not to mention a comfortable living environment. Due to Ferrellgas's total disregard to upholding their verbal commitment and agreement to provide service, I was forced to seek out and buy my own propane tank and will take it to be filled myself when needed. I was involved in operating and owning a family business for over 40 years. We were successful because we delivered what we promised or better. B. Randy Rolphe Coeur d'Alene, Idaho

I had a great experience with Banner Furnace & Fuel! Our central AC suddenly stopped cooling, and…read moreJuan came out to diagnose the problem. He was professional, respectful, and took the time to explain what was going on. From the moment he rang the doorbell to the time he left, the entire service call was only about 20 minutes. He quickly found the issue--a blown disconnect fuse--and even had the replacement part on his truck. Within minutes, our AC was running again and the house was cooling down. The total came to only $106, which was a pleasant surprise. I really appreciated Juan's honesty, efficiency, and professionalism. It's refreshing to have a technician who fixes the problem quickly without trying to upsell unnecessary repairs. I highly recommend Banner Furnace & Fuel, and if you get Juan as your technician, you're in great hands!

I cannot describe the extent of my relief having our furnace fixed by Duny from Banner Furnace &…read moreFuel. We had received a hazard tag from Avista saying our furnace was leaking gas, and a different furnace repair company had told us we needed expensive parts replaced. I called Banner at 4:40pm and they had someone out the following morning. Duny thoroughly checked everything over, banged on a fan to get it to stop making noise, cleaned the dirty flame sensor that was causing an issue, serviced the furnace (in addition to repairing the issue!!) and said we're good to go. No parts were needed. He was so kind and respectful, super knowledgeable, answered all my questions and even showed me the numbers for my own peace of mind. I highly, highly recommend them. Banner, give this man a raise; this sort of experience creates loyal customers!
