I reversed my bmw into the top of our garage door and was feeling stupid for doing it. The owner was really kind and reassured me it happens a lot.(true or not I do appreciate him making me feel better!). The pricing was really fair. They ordered the necessary part and scheduled the work promptly. They had us in and out same day and the car looks like new again. They even detailed our car before we picked it up! Rarely do you find this level of customer service anymore and we will be back for any future needs (hopefully never for the same thing!).

Alan was straight up with me and we were able to come to understanding about the degree of repair that my ancient truck really needed - "it doesn't have to look new, none of the rest of the truck does!" In the midst of the process, Alan called me just to let me know he had found the rear bumper for less than he had quoted, so it would be less than discussed! A few days later he called again with the news that my 2" receiver was damaged beyond repair and couldn't be reinstalled. He had already found a used one at Spaulding's for $75, and I agreed that we could replace one slightly rusty receiver with another slightly rusty receiver. The next day, Alan called me back to let me know that the one from Spaulding's had structural rust and that he didn't recommend installing it, and agreed that they would put a new one on if I bought one and brought it in. He didn't want me to have him buy it, mark it up, and then install it! All the way through the process he was trying to save me money, and the finished project was actually $10 less than the estimate, even though they also found that the tailgate latch was broken and had replaced those needed parts as well. At the end of the repair, the truck's frame was square from corner to corner within one millimeter! On the day it was finished, after just a week in the shop, Alan called and told me the truck would be ready "after the detailer finished with it". "Detailer?" Yep, when I got there the truck not only had been buffed and waxed and looked spotlessly brand new, but they had detailed the interior as well! This truck hasn't been this clean in decades. It quite literally looked like a new (ok, "newish") truck. It was finished in a timely fashion and to a much higher degree than I expected. Alan and the rest of the crew treated us well and with integrity. And they saved me $10! Taco Bell, here I come!

I drove the car to Craig's, spent about 20 minutes with Eric filling out paperwork and then I was on my way. I was expecting my car to be in their shop for at least four to five weeks. Eric, either sent me an email or gave me a call several times to explain where my car was in the process of the repair. Two weeks later my car was ready for delivery. Result was you could not tell there was ever a dent. So we decided to take 2004 Titan 4dr pickup to fix a dent on the bottom corner of the passenger rear door of the cab. It was suggested that I'd be better off to replace the entire fender. But I stopped by American Way at 3:30 on a Friday and Nick took a look at it. He took my car back to the shop and within 5 minutes, he returned and had buffed out the white paint on my black car. He told me I could bring the touch up paint back to them and they would apply it to complete the job. Best of all, when I asked how much I owed him, he said "nothing". I mean, she had less than 84k miles and I always intended to drive her til the wheels fall off. Geico had me take her to Caliber Collision, where they said it was $4.5k+ worth of damage. I opted to wait and find a small(er) biz neighborhood shop, which is how I ended up at A-Pro Auto Body. From the jump, Tom was friendly, easy to work with, and quoted me a much lower number (even after adding another unrelated repair), so I was happy to entrust them with fixing my girl. He didn't even give me a hard time when I had to pay them the 50% down in 20s (there is a fee for using a card for payment and I am trying to keep as much of that insurance payout as I can, y'know). He told me it would take about two weeks, and I was mentally prepared to wait longer, but they ended up needing less time, and I was pleasantly surprised to get the call well before I had expected it. When I picked her up, I was thrilled to see her back in fighting shape, and way cleaner than when she was dropped off. The vibe of the place definitely reminded me of auto wrecking/transmission shops that my mom and I have worked at in our younger years. Is it super fancy and shiny? Nope. Can you tell that they are/like a family and care for their customers? Absolutely. Tom playfully told me that they don't want to see me back there, and I do hope that I don't need to visit again anytime soon, but I will definitely recommend them to anyone who mentions car repair in my presence.
