We looked in every west coast date and Idaho and Montana for the specific mode we wanted to compare to the one Todd was selling. In the mean time, I asked mechanics and other people I knew around town what they knew of thought of River city auto. I heard great, positive things from everyone. I even messaged people who had left reviews previously to see how their cars were years later, and they all still had positive things to say (I'm pretty thorough). After a few weeks, we went back to Todd and sent the Land Rover he was selling in for pre-purchased inspection at a very reputable mechanic for this type of car. Everything Todd said was fixed was indeed fixed and the car came back with a glowing inspection. I brought Todd cash and he did all the paperwork. Todd even had a good recommendation for getting a great deal on tires in town. River City Auto is the only used car lot I would recommend in Spokane! The problem I have is that I was told when I bought the vehicle that the oil had been changed. When I got half way home the oil change indicator came on. I checked the oil and could tell that it hadn't been changed in a while, certainly not as I was told. This may not seem to be a big deal, but when you spend $11=k on a vehicle and come out of pocket with a down payment and then have to pay again to get the oil changed it's kind of a slap in the face. In addition, I have been waiting for a month for my title work to show up and it's still not here. I texted the sales person and was told I just might have to go get another temporary permit because it can take 45-60 days. This again is not what I was told when I bought the car and to be honest I don't know if it's even possible to get another temp permit and if it is that doesn't make it right because it takes time out of my schedule to go do that and I wasn't told this was going to happen. The salesman just told me that if I had an issue I could call and talk to management...Hmmmm, a little different attitude than when they were trying to get me to come buy a vehicle. The bottom line is that you need to verify anything you're told and double check to make sure it's accurate, before you buy, because after you buy the whole attitude changes.
