I took my 85 diesel wagon in for service to get the intake manifold cleaned.And that either didn't know or wouldn't tell me why the intake manifold was full of oil. I'm not sure if they're incompetent or just liars neither would surprise me. read more

2013 Ford F-150 3.5 Twin Turbo Highly recommend to take your vehicle here Took my truck in for the head gasket replacement, alignment and transmission fluid flush. Staff was very friendly and communicative from when I took my truck in, while it was in the shop, all until I picked it up. I received numerous updates while it was in the shop and was never in the dark. Picked my truck up and it's running great. I couldn't be happier. This place is absolutely amazing. I went to the BMW dealership for a light bulb replacement and they wanted $423 to replace it. I came here to Silver Star and got the exact same XENON bulb installed for I think like $100. They are super friendly and knowledgeable and most importantly honest. Definitely worth going to and will keep coming back. UPDATE - came back to them for more extensive work on my BMW and they were so amazing even though the car was tough to work on. They overcharged me & were incredibly rude. When my car was finished & went to pay I had my mother on the phone & the lady behind the counter literally said "I don't know I'm not the best one to explain this" & had no idea what to tell us about my car & why I had to pay $400 for one minor thing . Ridiculous. & then I call them to try & get an explanation & they say we're no longer welcome there? How come? Just a warning. read more

I have a 2010 Prius. A wheel bearing went bad. The folks at Silver Star quoted me a price and thought they could get it done the same day, but they asked if they could have till the following day. After all was said and done, they finished the job the same day. Dropped off at 8am and had it back by 4pm. Bonus, they finished the job $150 cheaper than they quoted. That was even with an oil change that I asked for after the initial quote. Above all of this, the staff was very polite, professional, helpful and courteous. this shop does excellent work and the prices are very fair. Al was able to meet my budget to replace the transmission in my 1985 Mercedes 300D and sorted out problems with the vacuum system that two other shops failed to fix. the work was done in a timely manner, and also, it was done properly. i would definitely recommend Silver Star to others! read more

I can't begin to tell you of our satisfaction with this fine company. They worked so very hard on our Mercedes to repair a malfunction. I would guess that close to 8 hours was spent trying to locate the problem. Although the malfunction was not repaired, they apologized & did not charge us a dime.
