I love taking my dog Louie to get groomed here. We usually see Monica however the whole staff is incredibly friendly and does such a great job. My dog does not like his nails getting cut and they go out of their way to get creative and get them cut, I appreciate them so much and will continue to go back!

Spoiled Petz does a great job grooming my cockapoos. The dogs look great and they are in and out in a reasonable account of time so they aren't as stressed.

Beyond Dissapointed. I have a shihtzu and specifically asked to NOT CUT HIS BODY HAIR. All I wanted was a shaved stomach and that is IT. When I booked online I even wrote it down in the description of what I wanted but clearly they did not read that. When I walked in to the salon the morning of I told the elderly lady working the front counter AGAIN what I wanted and repeated to her the same thing but made an énfasis of not TOUCHING HIS BODY!! And well you guessed it. They gave me a FULLY SHAVED dog back. It'll take about 3-4 months for my dog to grow the lenght of hair he had before all of this mess. My advice? That old lady needs to take notes right there and then. She clearly has short term memory loss. Check your app or else what is there for??? Here are pictures, cry with me.

Very nice lady. Took about 1.45 hr to get my Yorkie groomed. She's soft and smells great and looks cute (biased... I'm aware). I like how they warn you when the pet is almost finished (aka move your butt). Will be back!

After my Australian shepherd had a bad experience at La Casa del Perro grooming where they completely shaved his whole body instead of properly grooming his double-coated fur, I was hesitant to try another grooming service. After researching, I decided to take my aussie to Spoiled Petz. The employees there were so kind and patient with my dog and me. They provided great service. As a new customer, I even received a $5 discount. They also did not shave any of his fur off, and now my dog looks super cute and fluffy!

I had my boyfriend make an appointment for our pups and all seemed well. We have a Pomeranian mix and we asked for a trim on him, a corgi mix who needed nails and bath, and a corgi who needed nails and bath. Boy we're we surprised when we picked them up. Our Pom was completely SHAVED even down to his tail. He used to have a beautiful main and long wispy tail and ear. GONE. Then after the initial shock wore off and I inspected the other dogs both the corgi and corgi mix nails were so uneven and splintered. One of my corgi mix's nails was cut WAY to short and was bleeding. We asked for a clean up on the corgis paw pads because his hair grows long in between his pads and that was not done either. At the end of it all it was $200! Our corgi is only 22 lbs, Pom 17lbs, and corgi mix 50lbs so it's not like they are huge. VERY disappointed. Will not be back. read more

Monica was able to get my pup in with 15 mins notice and work around his problems, he has some scars and refuses kennels but she didn't mind! He looks great and was happy when he left! It was double my usual groomers price but if it lasts twice as long ill put this back to 5 stars! read more

Stumbled upon this place when my wife was walking through the shopping plaza. Thank goodness! Gerry the owner, and groomer were super nice and friendly, our dog enjoyed her time there, and their location is close to us which makes it very convenient! When it comes to the doggy cut, our groomer, Tammy, showed attention to detail and honored every request. She treated our dog with care. Their prices were affordable as well! Spoiled Petz did a wonderful job with my two dogs - a small, long-hair, mixed breed and a border collie/Pyraneese double-coated long-hair. They spent two hours brushing out the impacted fur on the latter dog. What a difference! His hair gets so packed in, that we thought it was matted. Friendly & both of my dogs liked them. I got my 13 year old Lab & 7 year old Yorkie groomed on two separate weekends. The girls in the shop obviously like animals and were soothing in a stressful situation. They were gentle, quick and called for me to pick-up as soon as the primping was complete. I am new to Reno and have three dogs, one elderly and one with a nervous disposition. I was referred to Spoiled Pets by our new veterinarian, Dr. Baker. Horrible don't bring your dog. If I could give no stars i would. Had appointment for my labradoodle at 12 she didn't start getting cut until 3:00. She was done at 4:30 and upon arrival my dog didn't get a haircut just trimmed hair around her face, shaved a few spots where they said she was matted and bathed her. Oh and that's $65. Wait did I mention there were two labradoodles there? Both sat for three hours in a kennel before they even attempted to cut them. This place is a joke and when confronted next day they admitted they didn't have time to cut them. So excuse me you charged full price for a freakin bath!!!! What a joke don't go here oh and did I mention they made my labradoodle legs look like a poodle? And last but not least these dogs were 9 months old first grooming which we were told we do lots of labradoodles don't worry we got this!!! Hey groomers don't poodle the doodle which you did to their legs but you didn't even cut the rest of them. Joke stay away don't go!!!!!! read more

I will never ever use this place again only thing I can say was good was there flexibility in scheduling the bad I got stuck at work and wife couldn't get there for our dogs till 445 they told her they have been closed for hour and a half charged us $180 with late fees going up every 15 min I look em up online says they closed at 4 pm so they lied and charged us for 1 1/2 hrs late fees $70 of grooming charge was all late fees read more

This place told me on the phone the grooming would be $40 total. I got my dog back with mats still behind her ears, with an almost completely shaved face and an infection in one eye, and they said because I didn't have cash it was $60 plus a fee to use my card which they never mentioned on the phone. A horrible experience! Never again!!!! read more

Our 1st location is in Truckee, Ca that storewhich started in 1991. We then open our 2nd store in Reno, Spoiled Petz Supply & Grooming.

Arlene's Bio: I always knew I loved animals, all animals; but especially dogs. As far back as I can remember I loved being around animals. I currently own 2 dogs. My dogs are not merely animals, they're family. Spoiled Petz Supply & Grooming is a high end dog grooming salon, not a production line. My mantra is quality over quantity. Services are provided by appointment only to ensure the proper individual attention is paid to each client. Wish you had told us you were having problems with her standing, not long after we left she was diagnosed with Adisons and we almost lost her. She was not standing for you because she couldn't. Luckily she is doing well now and will even hold up her paws for her new groomer. Never had an issue with your work it was excellent just hurt you did not completly disclose to us what the issues were.

Brought my dog in to get nails trimmed, first time was no issue but the owner clearl expressed throigh her body language that she though my dogs face needed to be trimmed...and the 2nd time today the owner just decided to trim my dogs face and bangs without asking...my dog looks like those Tik Tok videos of idiots cutting their bangs straight across... and not realizing what they've just done. I CAN NOT EXPRESS HOW ANGRY I AM ABOUT THIS! What right do you have to just do what YOU want to MY DOG? Are you INSANE? We comb and style her face and bangs all the time, today I brought her in when we handt done that for a day or 2 like last time. These woman down at Spoiled Petz are the best. My Akita blows coat twice a year and it lasts for months, even with brushing her twice a day. I took her down to spoiled Petz and they got rid of all the under coat. They did a fantastic job. when I brush her now I hardly get any fur on the brush and my friends are a lot happier not leaving my house covered in fur. This place is the best and come this fall my dogs going straight back down to those wonderful women at Spoiled Petz. I couldn't of asked for a better job. read more

We usually bring our dogs to their Truckee location, however with spring clean up of so many dogs they were booked out about a week. They offered an appointment at the reno location, so we could get in next day. Which was so Appreciated. We weren't disappointed the groomers did our two dogs and looked so good! The shop is clean and nice and cool. The owner and staff are very sweet and really loved our dogs. Alea did an AMAZING job on our super fluffy, super shedding malamute. Normally our girl is really stressed out after leaving the groomer, but her last couple of visits to Spoiled Petz she has been happy as can be! We take all 5 of of malamutes there, and even though our dogs get really stressed being away from us, the groomers make our dogs look and feel wonderful. We don't worry about leaving our dogs with there. Highly recommend this salon! read more

We brought our two dogs in and couldn't be happier. We've been to a few other grooming facilities and our dogs were there way to long. We wanted to try out spoiled petz because our neighbor referred them to us. That was the best decision we've made for our two dogs. They came back smelling so good and looking great for the holiday weekend. We set up for future appointment and look forward to our pups next appointment. read more

This place is amazing. They show love to my bf 's dog and have special skills to keep him calm. His hair turned out completely beautiful. I love it so much. You know what? We've been so many grooming places in town but nowhere can compete to this place. This is the best of best best grooming place in Reno. Update: Alea was fired. Arlene deleted the video surveillance footage of the incident. She has a photo of my pets on her website after all of this. These people have no shame. I love this place. They're super friendly, easy going and treat my two dogs like i would. My shihtzu has some anxiety with groomers, and they're really calm and patient with her and despite that she's a wiggle worm they leave her looking super nice. I highly recommend this place to groom yourself babies! read more
