Amanda and Stacy are the absolute BEST groomers that I have ever dealt with. They take such great care of and do a phenominal job of grooming my Newfoundland in a short period of time so he is not all stressed out when I pick him. My former groomer used to keep him for an average of 8 hours and he was still wet and sometimes matted when I picked him up. Last time I took him there - he refused to get out of the car and began to shake and whine. NOPE! I have not experienced that once at Spoiled Pets. Amanda is usually the one to groom him and I can tell how much she likes the dogs, not just mine. I wish I had discovered them years ago with my last newf. I usually take my Maltese for grooming services to spoiled petz off Sierra Highlands but had to bring her to S Mcarran location due to they're availability, I was excited as I figured services would be similar but I was wrong! Workers at this location were rude but that's not the worst part. I specifically asked them to trim AND FILE her nails which was not done. My dog is quite fluffy so requested a teddy bear cut only for them to give her layers?? Apparently her face "isn't very round" WHAT KIND OF DOG HAS A ROUND FACE. Honestly the cut looks like I did it myself... I was also charged 15 dollars more than the usual 50 at Sierra Highlands Spoiled Petz which usually does a 10/10 job. Very disappointed:( read more

Update! Arlene the owner reached out to me and let me know that she herself had groomed my dogs and I was happy and another groomer (Jennifer) has also groomed my dogs and I was happy. She kindly asked if I would give them a chance to fix my sweet boy Conan- I was very hesitant as I didn't see what could be done at this point. I went ahead and let Jennifer take a crack at him and BOOM, in an hour he was transformed from homeless puppy back to my handsome boy! Jennifer will be grooming my little girl next week. I will update with pictures after my Sweet P's appointment! Thanks again Arlene and Jennifer! I've taken my Yorkies here several times and have been pleased. Not this last time!! My little boy has the worst $52 haircut EVER! I will be taking him somewhere else to be completely shaved. I don't understand wthe groomer would even give him back to me butchered. I didn't notice it at first, so I tipped her well, 2 days later I'm wondering if Edward scissor Hands did his grooming. Spoiled Petz is awesome, I have always owned poodles and doodles and I am very picky when it comes to groomers as my dog are very special to me. Poodles are a very different breed of dogs that tend to be problematic for novice groomers and Jen at spoiled Petz always does a phenomenal job. Arlene (owner) and her staff are great with communication, very timely and always have great attitudes. The shop is very clean and safe. My dog is a bit of an introvert and actually gets excited when we pull into the parking lot! The cuts are always spot on, they always give us advice on how we should or could maintain his coat better and he always leaves with the cutest bandana. Best of all the price is right! This place is honestly the BEST. I lived in socal for 10 years and OG had such a great groomer, we were so sad to leave and it took me a few groomers and some time up here to find the right fit. I am VERY particular and protective over my little fur baby, and the second we walked into spoiled Petz Jen took OG and I immediately had this feeling of relief. She is so gentle, you can tell she genuinely loves animals and takes the best care of them when they are their. She even makes homemade cookies for her fur babies !!! His ears are choppy cut he has long hairs hanging between his hind legs and they trimmed his tail by just holding it straight up and cutting it straight across. I'm a new client and so far I haven't been impressed. I've called twice with questions on two separate occasions, (with days in between) and I'll leave a voicemail asking for a call back and never get one. As far as I know there's no other way of communicating with someone about up coming appointments. I booked two appointments back to back with the same groomer so I could bring both my dogs together but only one was confirmed? When I try to reach out days before the appointment to see if it can be resolved there's no form of reaching anyone. They're quick to take a $30 deposit but don't say how much the total will be. Brock, the groomer did a wonderful job grooming Murphy my golden doodle, I asked for a couple of things I wanted him to do and he did exactly that. I have been grooming Murphy for the last 2 years because the last 3 groomers I had used didn't listen to my request and did what they wanted, so I will be using Spoiled Petz from now on and requesting Brock to groom Murph. I also love that they start grooming your dog at the appointment time and text you 20 minutes before he's done so the dog isn't in a kennel for hours! read more

Took my dog here per a recommendation from my sister. I have a 2year old German Shephard Husky mix who gets a little freaked out with the toenail clippers. Iwas excited they would let me hold him while they did his toes. I made the appointment through text and informed them that he gets freaked out and that you just need to talk to him and he will calm down. I didn't even get home before I got a call to come get him. When I got back to the store I was informed that he would not get in the bathtub and that he tried to snap at the groomer. He gets groomed every two months religiously and never had an issue. He has never bit anyone in his life so I was appalled when they told me this. I asked the groomer if she talked to him or if she just started grabbing at him and she did not answer my question. This groomer clearly prefers small dogs and does not know how to handle anything more than 10 ibs. Needless to say I will not be recommending this groomer. read more

I came in today to bring my dog to get groomed. After dropping her off at 11AM she wasn't done until 4. I called around 2 to ask if she was close to being done when they stated she was in the drying room and hasn't been groomed yet and was told I would receive a text when she was ready. When I went to pick her up I immediately noticed she wasn't in the up front crates she normally is in. She was yelping and the groomer Stephanie was running back and forth to her crate. When she finally came to check me out she took my payment and stated " I was just making sure her bleeding stopped." I said what happened to her? She stated that she "accidentally" cut her paw. Then proceeded to ask me if I wanted to tip her. She grabbed my punch card which said "kyra" who was an amazing groomer who left this company. She proceeded to aggressively scratch off kyras name and put her own. If I could leave a negative rating on my experience today I would. I have been here multiple times and my dog either never looks finished or something is wrong. My dogs paw has not stopped bleeding and when I got home the bandana they placed around her neck was incredibly tight and triple knotted we had to cut it off. I will not be bringing my pet back here and I highly recommend you don't bring your pet here until they get more compassionate groomers. These animals are our life and we spend so much money to keep them kept healthy and well. We trust them in your care and expect them to return in good health. read more

Everyone has a moment, but today, the staffer at Spoiled Petz tipped me over. This shop has a confirmation service that works well -- once you get to know it and I missed a step so when no one came out to the car to pick up my 2 little dogs for their regular monthly appointment, I went to the door, knocked and peeked in. Big mistake! The young woman (with long dishwater blonde hair) made such a face I was shocked. Her expression was angry, impatient, exasperated, with a huge attitude. Obviously displeased, she finally came to the car and in a less than kind manner informed me I had not done their little confirmation text thing correctly and she was clearly annoyed. I thought about it after I left my dogs for grooming and decided I do NOT wish to be treated like a criminal because I didn't follow her little routine. When I returned to pick up my dogs, I made sure to follow their procedure correctly, paid on line (with a full 20% tip) for COVID-19 distancing and texted that I was in front waiting for my dogs. Waiting, and waiting. Not again! So I called---the same woman came out with another dog and glanced over at me -- saying crisply that she'd bring my dogs in a minute with a fake smile. Waiting. Waiting. She finally brought out the dogs, who jumped in the car with out one second for me to check their grooming....and then this staffer says offhandedly asked, "Were you able to figure out the app to pay on line?" That did it. Okay, so I have a full head of silver hair--and am often condescended to as an "elderly" woman, but that's a huge mistake, so my answer to her through my COVID-19 mask was, "I am old, not stupid". She paused, said, "Hmm, that's rude" and that was the final straw. Here's my answer to her whole lousy attitude; "Rude? You think that was rude??? Did you think I didn't see your snarky expression this morning when I dropped my dogs off, only to get a lecture for not following your app directions?? That's what is rude is--to think I pay $55 per dog to be treated like that and I've been p/o'd about your attitude all morning and now you want to condescend to me?" DONE. It's not easy to find a groomer who has both people and dog skills so I thought Spoiled Petz would be a good fit, but paying $10 more per pet is ONLY warranted if the shop is THAT GREAT am I happy to pay it! However, NOT when it comes with a dose of snarky, snappish comments and a nasty demeanor from a staffer who thinks it's okay to cop an attitude and treat people with such disdain when things don't go her way. Once we arrived home and I was able to check their grooming, I am NOT HAPPY all over again! Their ears are not cleaned properly, I doubt anal glands were suppressed, their nails are too long and the mini Schnauzer looks like she went through a buzz saw--one brow is short and the other long, all chopped up and probably the worst cut my dog has ever had. I'm not sure they even got wet much less shampooed and cleaned up. There are lots of groomers in this town, and there is a global pandemic right now when we're all supposed to be helping out and being kind....I am doing my best to support the local businesses -- and most are super nice and very pleasant, but not this one. PS--the owner just responded -- no apology, she defended her staffer with no consideration of my concerns and said it was "miss communication". Seriously?????? If I could give ZERO stars I would! Denise does a fantastic job with our Doodle. She always looks great when she comes home and doesn't seem distressed, as I have seen her look after visiting other groomers. Spoiled Petz is also very easy to work with. They have a very simple mobile reminder and scheduling system that is a breeze. Overall I have had a great experience with them each time I go. A tad pricey at first glance (our Doodle is $75 + tip) but worth it! read more

I had an appointment that I had to make 4 weeks out, which I did not mind but one day before the appointment they cancelled it do to circumstances beyond their control which I understand as well, but there is another location and it was not even an option to get me in there. Over 2 weeks ago the groomer at Spoiled Petz cut a large v-shaped slice out of our little Maltese's left ear. The owner, Arlene called us and said the groomer claimed our dog had a mole that he cut into. It was verified that it was NOT a mole on our dog's ear. The owner Arlene apologized and assured us she would at least refund the $60 we paid by sending us a check. Arlene never even refunded the $60. read more
