I went to the front office and found a guy texting and asked for some help. 10 min later he came back and was a rude jerk to me and did not want to be bothered so I told him to pound sand and left. The other day, my friend talked me into trying them again, so I did. Again we stood there for a good 20 min until another guy came out. I asked him to show us how the lifts work. He said in a very condesending voice "the lift goes up...the lift goes down". I left again and ended up buying a lift on-line from another vendor. Others on car forums have had similar experiences with them.

So I called Mavis Tires & Brakes and made a appointment to bring my car in to have the tire looked at. Maybe an hour later, when I left home to go to Mavis, the tire was completely flat. Had to call AAA to tow my car to Mavis. It took Mavis less than an hour to get me going. They found the culprit and only charged me $30 to plug up my tire. They didn't try to tell me that I need to replace my tire or upsell me anything. They just plugged up my tire and I was good to go. Mike and Luis at the front desk were couple of good guys. I would definitely recommend them and go back if I need tires or brakes work done again.

Instead, they were straight with me: fixed what actually needed fixing, confirmed the ball joint was fine, and didn't push extra repairs. I went ahead with brakes and rotors all around too. Everything was clearly itemized, the work was done professionally, and the 24,000-mile warranty plus parts warranty made me feel confident I'm set for a while. Pricing was fair and matched what I was expecting for a full brake/rotor job on an SUV. Jenna was a standout -- friendly, organized, and proactive. She even called to follow up when she didn't receive my email. That level of care matters. Steve (Owner) was also fantastic! If you want a shop that's honest, communicative, and does solid work, this is the place. NOTE: Please update your company name on Yelp, as it does not ay 'Palumbo's Car Care Center' it only says "Car Care Cetner" and made it very hard to find you!
