Delicious vegan food for a great value!! Kid-friendly, cozy and casual. I highly recommend. My kids devoured their veggie nuggets (even my very picky eater whom hates vegetables!) We came for lunch, I initially wanted to order the stuffed portobello cap, but was told it would take 40 minutes. Bummer. Next... I tried to order a milk tea with non-dairy milk but to my surprise... They don't carry any. (And if you're wondering.. the almond milk drink they have on the menu comes from a powder, which sounds a bit unappealing to me). Aside from that, I really enjoyed this restaurant! To meat eaters: you won't be disappointed!

It's fantastic! I really like the food and restaurant itself there! They really put a lot of effort on the new menu and house remodeling. As an asian, I finally found the most traditional food in this island. The food there is really like what I eat at my hometown, I definitely will go eat there a lot. It's amazing that the vegetarian food tastes so good and my stomach is really comfortable afterwards.

There was a vegan festival going on in Charlottetown! So it was cool to see that they made up a special dish to participate.

This place was absolutely delicious. So glad I went here. The bbq buns were soft, sweet and salty. The mapo tofu dish had a deep rich flavour of five-spice and some other i-dunno spices (soooo good), as well as having an amazing silky texture and the green beans!! I.love.those.things. I'm not even vegetarian and it was so good and so similar to the meaty versions. I was blown away. The service was great and when I ordered my second & third side hot sauces (yes, I have a problem with hot sauce) they gave me a special crunchy hot pepper mix in soya sauce. It complemented the dishes so well! Otherwise, the default hot sauce is sambal oelek (chili garlic hot sauce) - which is still delicious. Overall a good experience and amazingly good food. They even accommodated for allergies. :)

Fantastic place to stop for some veggie friendly food in Prince Edward Island. Started off with some boiled dumplings which were some of the best I've had in a long time. Finished off with an assortment of other veggie dishes delightfully containing mock meat. Great selection of tea and nice atmosphere. Highly recommended if you're in the area!

After talking about it with my wife, we thought the food was rather bland, in addition to the service being poor...

The breakfast burrito was the highlight of all the meals ordered on this two week vacation! And the connecting coffee shop (Timothy's World Coffee) had great coffee and a delicious cinnamon roll to round out the meal on the go. What I loved about the burrito is it was made with fresh prepared vegetables (they were just finishing up being roasted when we got there), beans, scrambled eggs and tasty sauces/salsa and it was real, whole food, healthy and filling. The few staff working were super nice and accommodating, encouraging us to walk thru to the coffee shop to get some coffee and to sit if we wanted, although they do have indoor seating. The setting felt like a mini-indoor market, which it actually was. You can buy your organic produce and fresh prepared meals in containers and be set for the next several days.

Tuna crudo and Major Tom's steak on toast were absolutely amazing. We decided to order meals, as the apps were so good. Blue salmon, with root veg, superb. The piri piri chicken was delicious, except the skin was on the chicken and it had a thick layer of fat beneath the skin that was inedible. They don't even LOOK like egg rolls - soft, brown rectangular pouches. Seemed clearly manufactured in a factory elsewhere, and warmed up here. But don't take my word for it - stop in and order an egg roll - invest a few bucks for the experience of the worst egg roll you've ever had. On the front window was a big permanent sign, about their "famous Kung Pao chicken" with "homemade sauce". So we ordered that, and a couple of other dishes. I never found enough sauce to report on - I guess it was sprinkled on the top. But here was the problem: each main dish consisted of a layer of the main item, on top of a whole lot of plain white rice. About 1/4 of the ordered item and 3/4 plain white rice. So for the terrible egg rolls and paying for what was largely simply plain white rice, I can't give more than one star for them. And lest you think I'm a negative person who writes critical reviews, I've probably written about 25 restaurant reviews on Yelp over the past 25 years, and if you look them up, you'll find they're mostly 4 and 5 star reviews. I think this is the first time I've given 1 star.

We strolled down through the beautiful gardens to the restaurant perched on the riverbanks. The restaurant does not optimize for volume or turnover and we had a 45 minute wait. We enjoyed the adjoining shop and their selection of jams and spread. The wait was worth it! The room is a bright large room overlooking the river. Handmade quilts hang from the ceiling. We started with nachos, that had the right blend of cheese and toppings. Unfortunately there were no side plates brought, causing us to eat like animals from a common trough. A slight mishap with a spilled glass of water interrupted our otherwise pleasant appetizer. The server's attention was less than prompt causing us to get extra napkins from directly behind the counter. Still, we soldiered on and prepared for the main feast. The seafood chowder was one of the better ones all trip. Fresh and flavourful pieces in a cream broth, served with a fresh side biscuit. The real opportunity is to highlight the delicious jams and spreads from the shop which would add some much needed flavour to the biscuits. Other meals included kids pasta, kids jam sandwich, a club sandwich, fish cakes and a Caesar salad. All were promptly devoured. A great location with fresh food and pleasant service. Worth the wait!
