We got home to eat, we were starving after a very long day of exploring downtown, and they gave us no rice with our beef and broccoli, after on the menu it said it came over rice. The lo mein was not lo mein noodles but really thin noodles. Eggs rolls were ok, but then again all fried food is usually ok. We came back the next day to let them know we didn't get any rice with our order and the guy said it doesn't come with rice. We looked at the menu together and it said beef and broccoli over rice. He then proceeded to tell me that it doesn't come with Togo orders only dining in the restaurant. But that's not what the menu said that he gave us to order from. He did eventually give us some rice to take home so we could eat our beef and broccoli.

I was not expecting a vegetarian or a vegan friendly place in Maritimes and definitely not in PEI. Were seated quickly and the place wasn't busy, but tables were filled in which was as a good indicator. Disappointed that green tea is not offered complimentary. Ordered a steamed dumplings to start with and Udon Noodles with mixed veggies, Mushrooms with Bok Choy, Spicy Soy Nuggets with mixed veggies. The dumpling were freshly made and good. The filling needed some more seasonings and were bit smaller than the ones we have added. The Chilli Sauce requested did the trick. The Steamed Rice provided with the two dishes was also smaller than anticipated and glad that we ordered the Noodles dish. After traveling for days and not having proper food, this food was a welcome relief. The udon noodles was perfect in every way except I think one of the mushroom or wood ears had a stronger flavour which over powered the entire dish. It was almost bitter. Not overly, but it still took away all the rest of the flavours. Mushrooms with Bok Choy was perfect. The flavours and crispness of Bok Choy was 5/5*. The Soy Nuggets with mixed veggies was amazing as well. The Soy nuggets small and veggie still crisp. Could have used a bit more spice though All in all a good spot. What was most amazing to me was that in the land of sea food that there was this place. Also as we were in PEI, it would have been nice if at least one dish was made with PEI potatoes and some Soy Sea Food dishes that are available

The first night my friend and I went looking for this place, we walked right past without even…read morenoticing it. (We ate at the Italian place across the street instead.) The second night, while heading somewhere else, we saw the teeny-tiny sign in the window, saw a couple people inside, and decided to give it a try. There was nothing wrong with the food; it was absolutely average. My friend and I both had the pad Thai with chicken, and it was no better or worse than the pad Thai I've had anywhere else. I ordered mine very mild, but it was still spicy enough for me to guzzle my entire glass of water. Then I sat and hoped for a refill. It didn't happen. The restaurant is a bit odd. I gather they do most of their business in takeout: While we were dining, quite a few people came in to pick up orders. The dining room is just a few tables with plastic tablecloths and folding chairs. A single picture hanging on the wall in the only decoration. You place your order at the counter around the corner from the dining room, then take a seat and your food is brought to you. When you are done you get up and pay at the counter. No one checked on us while we were eating, although the girl at the counter was quite friendly. Being from California, where we are sometimes over-served in restaurants, I was not used to the payment system (the waiter doesn't bring the bill to you!), but we encountered this in most of the other restaurants we ate at in PEI, so I guess it's typical. If you're in the mood for Thai, you could do worse. If I lived in Charlottetown, I'd prefer eating in the comfort of my own home than in the restaurant. But the price was decent and the food was perfectly adequate.

Their menu is typical of most Chinese restaurants..Szechuan this, sweet & sour that.. Seen it once, seen it a thousand times. I actually prefer eating inside the restaurant to taking it home. This is partially because last time I got take out there, the food had basically dissolved through the styrofoam containers and everything was a sloppy mess by the time I got home. When you eat in, the food is presented much better and you don't need to call in a maid service to rescue your counter tops. The food does not come quickly. But really, if your expectations for this place are high enough to expect speedy service, you're probably better off elsewhere. Getting through on the phone in the evenings can be quite a task since the phone often rings busy and you have to try multiple times to get through. Add about 15 minutes to what they tell you when your food will be ready to go so that you don't have to mindlessly sit there and twiddle your thumbs while the waitress and her friend have animated conversations in a language most Islanders won't understand (unless maybe if you go to Holland college). . Their szechuan beef is excellent by the way, ask for it extra spicy if you like that sort of thing (I do!). I do recommend this restaurant.. just don't expect that you're going to be fine dining. The food is simple and delicious (but gross when it soaks through your take out bags).
