Amazing place ! Went two nights in a row while vacationing in the area. Pizza, wings, onion rings, fried dill pickle spears and the beer were all delicious. read more

Famous Peppers - Pizza with carmelized onions , bacon, potatoes and maple syrup. So delicious - Pizza Near Me - Charlottetown, Prince Edward Island

There was a guy from PEI they use to call potato.... And apparently he went on to make some banging pizza that feature potatos.... To the person who put carbs on our favourite carb, I salute you! Famous peppers is the most well known pizza joint in Charlottetown with a few locations including their newest spot in Founders Food Hall serving up some fantastic wood fired Za, sammys, and some boujee tacos. I can't speak too much on the location or service bc my BF was the delivery boy for this but WOW the Spud Islander could put me in my grave. The maple cream sauce, with chunks of sliced potato, caramelized onion, and smoked bacon were the party flavour town didn't know it needed! The dough is pretty good, not quite thin crust or Neapolitan but a solid tasty fortress holding in all those toppings. This was a white pizza with lots of cheese and salty sweet deliciousness that will have you reaching for more (and probably some water... or beer bc they offer that for takeout too) We also got the tropic thunder (where you at my pineapple pizza lovers?!) which is a red sauce pizza with cheese, jalapeños, red onion, pineapple (like real pineapple, not those weird canned chunks) and pepperoni. So good and nice spice! Definitely will order again, highly recommend anything with the maple cream sauce or potato's on it! Cheers to carbs on carbs and good pizza! read more

I forgot how good this pizza is! We visited the restaurant in Charlottetown for the first time in a while, and it was sooo good. Restaurant is ok inside, lots of seating. Staff were friendly and pizza was delicious. We had a one vegetarian and one gluten free in our group so it was great that both were accommodated on the menu. read more

We were suggested to go there for our local pizza, and we were not disappointed. This was for a pick up, and not in-restaurant seating. The good: Pizza is really good. Rich in marinara sauce. Sauce is home made as we were told, and you can taste the freshness. We sat outside while waiting for it to be ready, and they brought it to us. The bad: Could have had more cheese on it as it was a little low on cheese. This was definitely worth the stop. read more

Good pizzas and beef briskets. Goes well with the Bogside beer. Nice dining area. Highly recommended. read more

Really good pizza. Easy to order online and pickup. Nice crust and cooked well. For some reason my kids weren't huge fans of the hula hula which Hawaiian pizzas are usually their favorite. We enjoyed ours though with jalapeños. We would go back again. read more

Amazing pizza, interesting variety and all I have tried so far have been outstanding. My go to pizza place on the island every year when I return and every opportunity I can go I will. read more

I always say that my death row meal would be pizza (and ice cream), and after eating at Famous Pepper's with my family this evening, I might just have to add the caveat that it must be Famous Pepper's pizza SPECIFICALLY because it was just. that. good. It was so good I didn't even get a photo of any of it, because I basically just inhaled it all. We ordered the 2 medium pizzas + 1 medium garlic finger special, and for $35 it was a steal - so much food! The pizzas were absolutely perfectly cooked - we settled on the Babe and the Maple Chicken and both were bang-on flavour wise. The crust was pillowy-soft deliciousness. I loved the added sprinkle of parmesan on both. The garlic fingers were great - not too cheesy; just perfect. This is getting long, so I'll add my last piece of praise: the music that was playing was awesome. A great mix of new EDM hits paired with classic late-00s indie rock. I'll definitely be back the next time I'm in Charlottetown - can't wait to try the Hero and the Spud Islander! read more

Not entirely sure if this is the same restaurant, or some sort of sister restaurant but I ate at the Famous Peppers "Fiamma" located in the Founders Food Hall & Market while visiting and walking through downtown Charlottetown. This location was awesome! I was able to find free parking right outside and it was such a neat experience walking through the food hall/market - definitely something I wish we had back home in our uptown area! The food was a bit of a wait but I had lots of time to kill, I was given a buzzer and there were lots of people waiting before me - i now see why! The food was so good! I ordered "The Count" sandwich, I've never had a wood fired sandwich and it was delicious and crispy... and it was served with chips and salsa + sour cream which I was pleasantly surprised by! read more

Pizza was ok... might be for some people but not my style for crust or sauce. Also prefer more authentic mozzarella

Ordered the New Years Eve special and was amazing!! Lg pizza, Lg garlic fingers, 20 wings and 4 drinks for $50!!! Amazing deal and delicious food! We'll be back read more

Had a very tasty gluten-free, tomato-free pizza that my wife could eat with her food allergies. The staff was all very helpful.

Decided to try after seeing their vigorous social media campaign to get votes as Canada's best pizza place. I compare all pizza places to Wooden Heads in Kingston ON. Wooden Heads is the gold standard IMHO. Famous Peppers is not in that league, but the pizza we tried was quite good. Getting in and out for pickup can be a pain because of 'on street" parking. Took more time than I anticipated to get order fulfilled. They were just ramping up so I have decided to give them a pass and try again on another night. Not sure yet what their signature offerings are. When I do, I will try them and report back. The owners appear keen to put out a really high quality product and not just deliver the usual schlock. If I like on my next visit, I will review again and be prepared to raise my rating. read more

Great quality imaginative pizza. Had the Woodsman - potato slices, Island honey ham, red onions, mozzarella, swirl of BBQ sauce on a maple cream base. Heavy pizza but great flavor profile. Also tried the Caribbean - jerk chicken, jalapeño, mango, red onion, toasted coconut and mozzarella. Loved that one, great spot, more of a takeout than a dine in but GREAT pizza! read more

Fabulous!! The donair was excellent. We came here specifically to try donairs as we are from the US and had been recommended by locals that donairs were the thing to try. We loved the donairs but the pizza and cheese bread were also really good! The cheese bread came with an unusual but yummy butter dipping sauce. I wish this place was in my neighborhood! read more

They have a nice variety of different pizzas and some great salads. I was in PEI for a few weeks and ordered from here 3 times

Back when famous peppers first started it was in Cardigan. It was a good pizza 10 years ago, and this past week I stopped there on my trip to PEI. It wasn't as good as I remember. I'll be back read more

Enjoyed the two pizzas ordered. First was the Cardigan, very fresh toppings all around a good pizza. The second pie was the tropic thunder... Now that's a pizza worth reviewing. I can't remember the last time I've had a pizza that good. If your in the area you got to pick up a pizza or 2 read more

It's not the best pizza, but it definitely hits the spot. It wouldn't something I would have all the time, just every once in a while. I'd mildly recommend it. read more

Had a meat lovers and a deluxe slice. Slices were okay, nothing notable about the experience.

As vegans traveling through Charlottetown, we we're so pleased to find a place that made us feel so welcome. While their crust is ready-made and includes a small amount of Parmesan cheese, they were happy to work with us to build a delicious otherwise-vegan pizza. Very friendly and a pleasure to deal with! read more

Had the maple chicken. My favourite pizza at the best pizza shop in PEI!!! Highly recommend any pizza at famous peppers.

Great pizza, creative with local products. Don't miss it!

By far the best pizza in Charlottetown! My go to is the Caribbean pizza the sweetness of the mango and dusting of coconut flakes really compliments the spices in the chicken and the fresh jalapeños. The Cardigan is another classic, your typical "works" style pizza. Taco pizza is simply amazing! It's the best of both taco and pizza worlds... great for after a night out on the town, only thing is you would have to order well before the 2am bar closing times. Not much of a fan of the maple cream based pizzas, but I have requested in the past to have the regular pizza sauce instead of the cream base and it was no problem to switch and no extra charge! If you are a fan of garlic fingers then the pizza and garlic finger specials will be your new best friends! $20 for medium pizza and garlic fingers! The medium pizza alone is about $17 and garlic fingers alone are $12.50 so you save almost $10 getting the combo. Can't find a better deal than that! read more

Best pizza on the east coast! Must try. Dough and sauce are made in house and make for DELICIOUS pizza. Friendly, relaxed atmosphere. Local ingredients. I love it, it's the freshest pizza I've ever had. read more

Ordered pizza here the other day and it was absolutely delicious. The kids loved it. Lots of great locally acquired toppings to choose from, every pizza generously sprinkled with parmesan cheese. Only dislike was their pricing and lack of specials. They only had 2 or 3 specials, all of which are pricey for the products offered. Would have been a 5 star review have it not been for Famous Peppers lack of deals. read more
