Enjoyed our meal! We were a party of 8, and there were no complaints. It is a limited menu compared to other locations (i.e., no pasta). Pizza and salad are quite tasty - so it's a great stop if you're craving those things! Longish wait at the door (no hostess) at the supper hour. We loved our food. Stopped in for a mid-afternoon snack and shared two pizzas, the Margherita and the Dolce E Fumoso among four of us. They were unbelievably delicious! This restaurant has total 5 star potential. My family (3kids) , mother, and brother ate here after a busy day in Cavendish. It is located in a beautiful Avonlea village that truly captures the charm of PEI. The menu is simple and everything from the pizzas, calzones, salad, and jar of olives were great! The ingredients were fresh and delicious, the pizza crust was amazing. Two suggestions to make this a 5 star restaurant: 1) Service - the staff were friendly but inattentive. Not enough cutlery at the table, or napkins, and did not check in often enough to ensure all was satisfactory. For instance, the pizzas are brought out staggered (perhaps due to space in the wood oven) which is fine, but we realized 5 min after everyone else was served that my wife's was not showing up. It took a couple of minutes to get anyone's attention to inform them of this. It was clearly forgotten but it was eventually made and delivered. Not that we asked, but there was no discount offered for this. 2) Food consistency - wood fired pizza ovens are hot and require a close eye as a pizza goes from perfect to charred quite quickly. In our group, 1 out of 2 calzones were charred which added an unpleasant burnt taste, and 2 out of 4 pizzas were charred. We ate around the charred bits and enjoyed them anyway. I want to love this place, and I will give them another chance in the future. Here's hoping two times a charm! FYI - they also offer gluten free crust which was great for one of our guests. There's nothing hubby and I enjoy more than a good old wood fire pizza. We were more than ecstatic to find out we were next to one while exploring around town. It was more on the disappointing side than anything. Crust was too chewy and not thin enough. Sauce was so so and toppings were a fail. Overall underwelming. Tip: ask for chilly flakes, parmesan and oil. It's all included but they don't bring it unless you ask. read more

Ambiance not that great...waitress told us they serve wine in authentic wine glass because its an authentic restaurant...yet the music playing was a mix between heavy/pop/country music lol Should be authentic all the way!!! This place is a scam and ripoff! Your pizza costs around $20 and the thin crust comes burnt. They give you barely any toppings on top. There is basiclt no cheese on the pizza and only sauce. The sauce is also not even good and tastes like something out of a can! Also the pizza was so oily when I went to eat it the toppings slipped off! After finishing my pizza I was still hungry! Would not recommend to anyone it's over priced and leaves you hungry! read more

Best pizza I've ever had. Yelp wants me to say more than that, so service was great, we got to watch them flip the dough in the air and cook it in 90 seconds. Considering getting a job here to learn how they do it. I think I had the Sicilian. Try it. read more
