This used to be a family owned company but it sold to an investment group late in 2022. Since then the quality has gone down and prices have gone up. Investment companies do not care about your pool, they only care about your money. Over this year, Splash has only hired workers with lower skill levels. They are not educated on pool chemistry or how to properly maintain a pool. I have a salt water pool and my weekly technician is NOT "allowed" to add salt to my pool. Only "a manager" can do it apparently. Well, a manager has not visited my house to properly service my pool in three months. If you love overlaying, receiving terrible service, and not receiving callbacks when you need customer service, than Splash Pools is the company you should hire. I used this company for about 9 months. The final straw was when I got back from vacation and the next morning I noticed my pool pump making an odd sound. When I checked on it I noticed that the pool cleaner person didn't tighten down the pool filter lid and the filter motor was running dry. That was at the beginning of April. So i gave them a 30 day notice. Paid for the month of April and when I spoke to Scott about why I'm cancelling all I got was an O-well sorry. To end the month of April they didn't even show up to the finial week that I paid for in advance. There's one guy not two and he stays the minimum amount of time he possibly can does not check filters only half cleans the pool. We've been trying to reach splash about it and only get voicemails. Worst pool service I've ever had. Started this January with the 72.00 a month service for a salt water pool. No problem until the water got warm. Had an algea bloom and I had to scrub the pool. I called, they said someone would be out the next day. Next day, no call, no show. I called at 4:30p and they apologize and send someone out the very next morning. They shock the pool and add algeaside, along with telling me they added salt. I look that afternoon and the salt cell is reading low salt. Cancelled my service and had to add almost 4 bags of salt to hit 3400ppm. Stay ahead of your pools and you should never have an algea problem, especially with salt water pool. We would not recommend Splash Pool Service. Our reasoning is based on the level of difficulty we experienced in the areas of communication, reliability, and trust. We would receive text messages for upcoming appointments only to find that no one had showed up for the cleaning appointment. It was difficult to then reach someone to discuss the missed appointment. Phone messages and our texts started to go unanswered completely. We were once told that the lack of communication was due to their poor phone system. Like most people, we know little about maintaining a pool, so we were at the mercy of the company when it came to repairs. Ultimately, we knew something was up when we received a quoted for a "needed" repair on a piece of equipment that has never been a part of our system (over $1000). We contacted our pool builder to confirm that there was no justification for the quoted repair. Splash provided no explanation when we asked them about this. We provide service to the public and would never unfairly review any service business unless it was warranted. read more

We have been using Splash for a long time. They have always shown up on the day they say they will, have great communication and addressed any pool questions or issues with the utmost care. We contacted Splash to install two new pumps for our water features and pool in Las Vegas. There service and communication is absolutely the best! Appointments were scheduled quickly with follow up phone calls for arrival times Jace answered all of our questions and gave us honest recommendations for the pumps and a new control system. They increased their price by 2x this year, basically saying they are increasing the base chemical service to include filter cleaning. The choice for customers was to accept this or leave the service. We choose to stay. Unfortunately they did not communicate WHEN they would be cleaning our filters. It's been 3 months since the original notice, my pool is starting to turn green. I reached out and they said I'm scheduled for filter cleaning next month. They did not offer to come earlier, knowing that my pool is turning green and that we are rolling into a 3 day holiday weekend. No apology, no nothing other than I'll see you next month. Splash has been servicing my pool since 2000 I believe. In the last couple of years their service has gone straight down hill. They come at different times all the time with different people servicing the pool. After the original owner died it became awful to deal with. They drained my spa which killed my heater because it was on at the time. Denied responsiblity and cost me $5000 for a new heater that was last year. This year they have left it drained multiple times and currently it doesn't stay filled up. That started after they changed the valves. They are suppose to clean my filters multiple times a year and have only done it once this year and only after I called and told them they hadn't been cleaned in forever. They increased their prices considerably and gave worse service. One time the technician gave me attitude because my dogs were out and he forgot to call or text me to let me know he was on his way. It is in my notes to always call. They have also moved my spinners that keep pigeons away from the pool while they are cleaning and never put them back. They also take out the pool floats and leave them on the side of the pool. If I could give them less than one star I would. read more

I am so happy I found this company to change my chlorine water pool system to a salt water pool system. They also installed a new pentair intelliflo variable speed pump, a new IAqualink board and antenna, two new valve acuators, etc. Sallee in customer service was very helpful and very efficient in getting me an appointment with the pool service technician right away. Jace did a phenomenal job installing the new salt water system and in communicating with me all the time. He is very knowledgeable of what he does. My failing pool pump finally gave up the ghost. I called Splash Pool Service and one other company to trouble shoot and fix. The other company wanted $80 just to show up. Splash did not. I went with Splash. Within 48 hours of my request, a pleasant gentleman named Hector showed up. He diagnosed the problem and ordered a new Century pump. He came on Labor Day holiday at 7:30 a.m. and installed the new pump in less than one hour. The pump works great and I am very pleased. The price for the whole job was fair. We hired Splash Pools to clean our green pool due to algae build up. Scott (the employee) diagnosed the problem and told us it was an easy fix. We paid the 50% deposit. Scott subsequently begin treating the pool and filters the first visit (was 6/23/23). He was to return to our house to continue the clearing, and he did so (for the second visit) 6 days later. The pool still was NOT clear, and was cloudy. We were told that the job was done and that was all he could do. Scott had a picture he took of the pool at night claiming the pool was clear. The pool was NOT clear and we felt ripped-off. I unsuccessfully tried to resolve the matter with splash pools. All I wanted was clear pool water.
