Service was great and the girl working being the register was cool. The problem was the food. We ordered two wraps, one chicken and the other beef and lamb with fries inside. Neither of the wraps had any fries inside. The chicken wrap was okay, but the beef / lamb wrap the meat on the inside was cold and stale like it had been sitting out for a while. Even with all the veggies inside, it the meat still appeared dry and cold. The wrap it using a type of brown wax paper, and in the case of our beef/lamb wrap, the paper was somehow wrapped into the inside of the sandwich. After the third bite of eating wax paper out of the sandwich, my friend went and gave his sandwich back to the girl at the register and told her that he wouldn't be able to eat it. They apologized and we left. Not going back to this place anymore. The food used to be good a few years ago. Super dissatisfied and disappointed going this time and I don't recommend it. I recommend some additional steps in quality control before serving a meal to a customer. Good management who actually cares, might be able to help you guys achieve this. read more

All the doner wraps are delicious. Made with care. I ordered a variety for a company meal. Even the Falafel is nice and moist not dry like many other places. All the ingredients inside the wraps are super tasty and fresh. The wraps are pretty big, you get full of a half a wrap and can eat the other half layer. I also had the salad with fresh fried pita nicely seasoned, crispy chick peas, the salad was fresh and super tasty. Honestly the chick peas where it's at! It gives the salad a nice kick. Staff is always friendly and helpful. Definitely a place to return to and keep enjoying. read more

Picked up food from here after a visit to Universal CityWalk. Looked like their patio was open for dining, but other than that, they were enforcing social distancing and masks; which is a good thing during this time, especially in LA. Order was correct and they supplied us with lots of extra sauce and if you know me, I love sauce! Parking can be difficult, so be patient. I did knock them down a star only because it took longer than expected to get our order. Instead of being ready in 15 minutes, we waited an extra 15 minutes... a whole 30 minutes. I was looking for a place my bf and I could eat at after checking out of our universal hotel. This place was nearby and he loooves everything doner. It was really cute inside and they had an option to sign up to their app to receive 20% off your first order (which was really convenient since we had never been and we could check out further info on dishes they had and even place our order online instead). Now idk about their other items but the wraps are HUGE. I would definitely share one if you can decide on the same type. But they are so good and absolutely packed with ingredients and flavor. The drinks (lemonade and tea) needed some sweetener but they gave us free refills before we left on our long walk down Hollywood blvd. I love this local eatery! Have been eating here for years. There is plenty of parking behind the restaurant and on the street as well. Make sure to sign up for their loyalty program to get emails and free food! I love that this place feels like a homey garage or something, filled with a variety of board games and cards to play while you're eating/hanging out. Bomb! I had a Streer Cart Doner Wrap with beef, lamb, and chicken with Sweet Potato Waffle Fries on the side. Randomly found this spot on UberEats browsing their Top Eats and it's true to its category! Large portion and super filing could've probably shared the wrap but it was so good I over ate and ate the whole thing haha. A nice cozy style restaurant. Its got long tables and plenty of different games and cards placed on the window side. Its a fun place to go with friends and choose a game to play while the food comes out. The reason we went there tonight was because i thought this was a Turkish doner kebob. Doner kebob is known as a traditional turkish food and its very delicious. But it seems like this place has created a turkish-mexican menu which is kind of a new thing and its all cool. I've been meaning to try Spitz out forever and finally got a chance before going to Universal City. There are maybe 10 something parking spaces in the back, which is pretty nice. The decor is eclectic and cute. All staff seemed to be nice and welcoming. The Doner Kebab was decent but the Street Cart fries was the star. They were very generous with the toppings and it all worked together perfectly. The fries seemed to be double fried so they were still crunchy even after all the wet toppings were put on. read more
