Mini Mia - Original Style & 1/2 Caesar

Mini mia is a great lunch deal for $12. Chicken and goat cheese pizza was yummy but a little clunky with all the toppings. I also really like the white pizza & the pesto pizza. Lots of seating inside & out.

This is my all time favorite pizza place to eat. The presentation of the food is beautiful and the taste is even better! The one in Prairie Village has a beautiful outdoor seating area which is my favorite. The service is really great! They bring the food to you and they check on you throughout your time there. 10/10 would recommend if you're HUNGRY and need some COMFORT food! :) Here is what I got: Appetizer: Italian Meatballs with side of Flatbread, 7 inch Margherita with a side cob salad

Caesar Salad and seven inch personal pepperoni pizza...

Every Sunday I go to Spin Pizza, Overland Park and order my Caesar salad and the seven inch pepperoni pizza. Download the app and get rewards. I sit at the counter and watch the activity of a busy kitchen...

Weve been several times to this and the 119th street location. You order at the counter and the seat yourself. On this trip, at 1 pm on a sunday, there was scant business (weve been here when it was crowded) and the woman at the register seemed bored. That didnt mean she was particularly helpful as we did have a few questions on the menu. She basically gave us one word answers as she pointed at the menu. A little misleading is that as you walk in, they have a display of the taps under the wall menu. Several were missing in the display presumably signaling they were out of those beers. So I was surprised when I ordered one from the display they were out of it. So much for their marketing Since it was a late lunch we decided on the Mini Mia, which offered a choice of any 7" pie and either a side soup or salad. I went with the Pepperoni and Greek salad. My wife went with the seasonal Minestrone soup, which was accompanied by a flat bread/foccacia. After paying and taking our table stand number we went to the bar for seating. Strangely, they had what appeared to be 4 cooks, 4 managers and several table hops, but it took about 10 minutes to get our drinks. But the food then arrived about 1 minute later. The soup was good and the flat bread was tasty for dipping. The pizza, thicker than I care, was a bit reminiscent of the 7"ers you get from Pizza Hut. In other words, nothing special. The Greek side salad was the best, nicely tossed with cukes, sliced cherry tomatoes, green onions, olives and feta cheese. Modestly priced and solid food, it is good for a quick stop in. Only the service seemed a bit wanting.

Spin always hits the spot -- it's a great, fresh, local spot. Tonight, I was pleasantly surprised by the sign when I walked in with new seasonal salads. Having been in business for many years, Spin is great at introducing new menu items every few months. I tried the new Italian salad which had salami, olives, onions and cheese. Very good. I also decided to continue branching out of my normal menu items, and got the portobello pizza. Overall, quite the yummy evening, as when I arrived, I was starving!

Like 2 pieces of chicken in each slice maybe 3 that's horrible for this location

Not unless you want to pay 20 dollars for a 14" chicken and pesto with 3 oz of chicken. I wonder how many oz they put on the 12" terrible 2 to 3 small pieces of chicken for the 14" it's just awful. Update called other spin pizza around and they give more on their clone and pesto it's crazy that this locating rips people off

Okay Modern Market, I see you…read more I was on the hunt for a healthy-ish spot for lunch (I mean, hello it is January), when I came upon Modern Market Eatery on Yelp. Upon doing some research I learned it's a scratch kitchen specializing in clean eats, and that it's a chain. A win for the health options, a ding for the chain, but not all chains are bad, an we are living in a time where there are some winners. So, I packed myself up and headed down the road to Prairie Village. It's still fairly new, and it has that squeaky clean feeling to it when you arrive. Inside it's counter service and you seat yourself (they will bring the food to you). It kind of reminded me of how Noodles and Company felt when they first became a thing way back in the early 2000s. I ordered a thai salad that came in at under 400 calories so I was honestly skeptical at how big or flavorful it would really be when it arrived, and holy cow was it good. The chicken was cold, but still held some flavor, the dressing was great, there were fresh veggies, pickled onions. It was one of the best 400 calorie meals I've had in a long time. My dad ordered the salmon curry and he also enjoyed his though I didn't try it so jury's out on my opinion! I left full and happy to have discovered this spot. I'll be back soon!

The sauce that was on my sandwich was different than the picture online. I did get my order through Uber Eats. The veggies were very fresh and crispy on the sandwich. The fire roasted veggies were not seasoned except for a bit of turmeric but it didn't really have a taste. Overall the food was good and very fresh but the price was a bit high.

What makes this place stand out is the concept. You can walk up to the butcher case, pick out your own steak, and have them grill it for you. It's a fun experience that feels different from a traditional steakhouse. If you'd rather order from the menu, there are also plenty of meat and seafood options available. We shared a bone-in ribeye that was absolutely delicious. We started with the Sweet Potato Hummus, which my wife especially loved. The real surprise of the night was the Hot Honey & Goat Cheese Brussels Sprouts. Those were outstanding and easily one of the best sides we've had in a long time. The roasted potatoes, on the other hand, were just okay. Another thing worth mentioning is the deli-style refrigerated cases in the back of the shop. They're packed with prepared meals, sides, meats, and other items that looked genuinely tempting for taking home later. Overall, a very enjoyable first experience and a creative addition to the Kansas City dining scene

Let's start with the service--Billy, Grant, and Parker were all incredible. Friendly, attentive, and just chill in the best way. You can tell they care about what they're doing and treat customers like family. Scott and Vicky the owners were warm and welcoming. They welcomed feedback in the best way... it definitely felt like a locally owned neighborhood market. Now, let's talk food: Meatballs alla Vodka? Baaaaby. Rich, savory, cheesy, melt-in-your-mouth goodness. Hot Honey Brussels were crispy, sweet, spicy, and downright addictive. Parmesan & Rosemary Fries? Flavorful with a perfect crisp. That rosemary hit me in my soul. Fritz Müller Perlwein Rosé was served at the bar at grocery store pricing. And yes, I was feelin' bougie for less. Then I peeked around and realized this place is ALSO a full-on boutique market. Think wine shop, butcher counter, charcuterie essentials, and every sauce or seasoning your inner foodie could dream of. The vibe is elevated but still approachable--perfect for a wine night run or a laid-back date night. Truly a one-stop shop for snacks and sustenance. Support local, and treat yourself. I'll be back soon, probably with a tote bag and a full appetite. Definitely filling my DEAN AND DELUCA void!!!
