The only reason this place gets 3 stars is because of the one woman working in the front of house who clearly understands how a restaurant should run. She was absolutely crushing it--taking on multiple roles, keeping things moving, and trying her best to cover for the complete lack of leadership. She was the only person who had any idea what she was doing. Meanwhile, the older guy and the male server with short hair were completely useless--wandering around cluelessly. It was obvious they weren't actually involved in the business or invested in its success. There was also a younger kid trying to help, but it was clear they hadn't received enough training to succeed. The woman behind the bar was an absolute rockstar--holding it down, managing orders, and keeping things moving despite the chaos. Honestly, she should be running the front of house, with everyone else following her work ethic. The food was fantastic--huge credit to the kitchen staff, whoever they are, for delivering under such disorganized conditions. But expect a two-hour wait for an online order on a Friday. The lack of leadership here is undeniable, and as an operations manager, it's clear that management and ownership have no idea how to properly staff and run a restaurant. If they had better front-of-house staff--and more people like that hardworking bartender--this would easily be a 5-star spot. read more

Ordered pickup from them tonight. The staff were friendly when I was making the pickup. The food was absolutely delicious. My wife got chicken Tikka masala and I got lamb vindaloo. Both curries were thick and hearty and well spiced. We both ordered medium spice, and the spice level was quite appropriate. I think next time we'll both get hot because we're spice lovers. This is my second time trying spice kitchen. They are right in my area. This last visit I ordered the paneer korma and the garlic cheese naan. The flavor of the food both times was good. I really enjoyed the naan. My reasoning behind 4 stars is because their dishes are lacking in heat on their spice level. I like it spicy. Very spicy! My first visit our table ordered our meals hot but we all felt maybe the server was unsure and all of our dishes came out without any heat. I figured I had to try them again, because I still liked my food. This time I was very clear. Indian hot, please! Anddd again nothing :( I would even go so far to say that people who can't handle spicy foods could still have eaten this dish. The flavors are good. Tried Spice Kitchen for a birthday dinner for my partner since the reviews were so great, and I have to agree. Everything we tried was delicious, the staff was incredibly friendly, the atmosphere was soothing and the portions were generous. I did struggle with the fact that we didn't receive an itemized bill, and instead, just a bill total on a machine to pay by credit card. Since we were there for a celebration, I let it slide but inside I was a bit furious. I have no idea if what I paid was accurate, how much was food total and how much was tax. I found it very odd. I had the receipt mailed to me which was simply that; for whatever reason, I was hoping I'd see something itemized. I don't feel this is a good practice at all and next time will be sure to point this out if it happens again. read more

I picked up an order for takeout tonight that i placed over the phone. The order was ready when i got there. There weren't many people dining in. The food was still hot when i got home. Everything was honestly cooked to perfection. This is the best Nepalese/Indian food BY FAR that I've had since moving to Colorado almost 3 years ago. We tried this place for the first time today. They have really good food! They have a full bar and some decent beers on tap. Its really nice to gave good Indian food in this part of the suburbs. I'll be enjoying my leftovers for lunch tomorrow. One nice note, for most dishes they will ask you what level if spice you want; from very mild to up to ???. We decided to stop here for an early dinner because it was on the way home from Loveland. It turned out to be a great choice. The staff were welcoming and helpful when it came to the menu. We ordered the lamb vindaloo which was tender, sour and spicy, so delicious. We had a couple of chicken dishes, the korma curry which was mild and sweet with a low level of heat and a much spicier curry with vegetables.
