The only thing I can complain about was the amount of protein in the Korma. There was maybe 4-5 pieces of chicken in it, small bites at that. Had they been bigger I wouldn't really have anything to say. Otherwise, the actual dish was great. The Naan was great too. We'll be back for sure. I was able to get seated quickly. The server was kind it seemed like he could've been the owner. He was very friendly and answered my questions thoroughly. I ended up going with his recommendation for the chicken vindaloo. The food was absolutely amazing. My boyfriend ordered the chicken tikka masala, and I got the chicken vindaloo. Both were delicious, full of flavor, and came in hefty portions! We also got a side of the cheese garlic naan. It was so soft and delicious, and you could tell it was fresh. The buffet included your standards (Tandoori chicken; Tiki Masala chicken; Chana Masala; Saag Paneer; Daal soup; Jasmine rice) along with fresh warmed naan. There are a couple of standard deserts as well including Gulab and rice pudding. The standouts were the Masala chicken and lentil (Daal) soup. The Tandoori chicken had a terrific crust on each piece (no breading of course) but they were barely even lukewarm. They also had a curry chicken but it was our least favorite (very plain) despite both of us loving curry. The naan was amazing (brought fresh, warm, and lightly brushed with oil from the kitchen) after we retrieved our first buffet plate. The creamed spinach (Saag) was very good if a bit too salty. And the same was true of the stewed chick peas (Chana). Restaurants really need to learn to under-salt as patrons can always add more! Ambience is standard/cliche South Asian and parking is plentiful and free in this small strip mall. At $17, this was a very reasonable and delicious post-hike feast. I pretended to go to the wash room and picked up a GC for my hostess and slipped it in her glovebox. Smooth eh. Quiet setting, good vibes, comfortable and with expansive close in parking, the restaurant is simple in design, as if we're in a setting in Northern India, the service and food were spot on! There's an extensive menu here and we will return to try some of their curries and tandoor. One suggestion for management, try using cloth napkins rather than thin paper ones. It would add that much more to an already positive dining experience. Other than that, very highly recommended.
