I'm so glad Spice Kitchen is expanding! What I love about this new location is how spacious and beautiful the restaurant is. It has such beautiful artwork and decor, and there's even a comfy lounge area with a couch, and also an extensive bar! They do have a happy hour with good drink and food options. For the food, I ordered my usual - the shrimp and salmon suya with sides of jollof and spinach. Everything tasted great, and the taste is consistent with their other locations. I did notice that the jollof was a slightly smaller portion here. The other locations give out a lot of jollof, so it was a little disappointing that the portion was noticeably smaller. I also find it interesting that everything is served in takeaway containers even when you are dining in. With it being such a beautiful restaurant, dining in with containers kind of takes away from the nice aesthetic, but I understand if it's not a part of their business model. Otherwise, this was a good experience with amazing food, as always, and I plan on returning soon for their happy hour.

I first experienced Spice Kitchen when they had their pop-up at R.House and I feel in love. Flavor out of this world! I like the ambiance of the new location in Canton. Great music!

As a true lover of authentic Nigerian food, Spice Kitchen is absolutely valid. Located in the heart of Canton, the restaurant has a beautiful interior and a very clean, welcoming space. The employees were extremely friendly and even did a quality check to confirm my order was correct -- honestly, that should be standard procedure everywhere. The suya was great, flavorful without being overly spicy, and the rice had a really nice smoky taste. Personally, I would've loved a little more heat, but I understand balancing spice levels to accommodate different palates. Overall, I truly enjoyed my experience and will definitely be back.

This was my first time coming to kitchen Spice and it was very nice. We sat at the bar and the bartender was very nice, friendly and helpful with the menu. Kudos to Miles. I will say the bar is slightly too high, they either need to drop it down an inch or two or get some taller chairs for optimal comfort. The food and drinks were delicious. However, the meat patties were kind of small. I enjoyed the flavor of the food and ambiance of the restaurant, I look forward to returning.

I saw this place on Yelp last week and definitely wanted to try and with time today I decided to stop before heading to the mall. I sat at the bar and immediately noticed how nice and welcoming the place felt. The bartender who was also serving people sitting at the tables came and offered me a water and gave me their happy out/cocktail menu and a we code for the full menu. When she returned I decided on my order and she took everything and let me know it shouldn't take long which it didn't. I tried the steak suya, hh wings, and quarter chicken. Everything was delicious. I very much enjoyed my experience and haven't even tried the wings yet but the steak, qrt chicken, jollof rice and plantains have made me literally smile. My bartender/waitress Toyo was as plant as she is beautiful. I totally recommend this place to anyone, I'll be back for sure.

We heard about this place from a coworker and decided to check it out. It's a bit hard to find since there aren't any large restaurant signs, just a small sign by the front door. We ordered the wings, steak, spinach, rice, plantains, shrimp, lamb chops, corn, and the mango drink. Pros: The service was excellent, the ambiance was beautiful, and the food and drinks were good. Portions were generous, which we appreciated. Cons: The pricing felt a little high considering there was no traditional wait service. All food was served in to-go containers, even though we dined in, and the ordering process felt more like a takeout spot than a sit-down restaurant. The alcoholic drinks were on the smaller side, and the seasoning was very strong, I'd recommend ordering with no spice if you're not a fan of heat. Also, the lack of visible signage makes it easy to miss. Overall: This has the potential to be a great spot if a few minor issues are addressed. I would go back again. If you're in the area, I'd say give it a try, you'll likely enjoy the food.

Food was amazing. Price point is great for the amount of food. We tried the chicken, steak and salmon. The sides are a 10/10.

I am sadly allergic to dairy and made sure to get the platter since it says it only contains rice, chicken, salad, tzatziki sauce, dressing and pita. But when I got the order and went home, the entire platter was covered in feta cheese. I would had been okay if it was just the salad that had the feta but the rice, chicken, and bread were all covered head to toe in feta. It actually looked delicious but I was so sad when I got home that I can't eat the meal I paid $17 for. They labeled the bowl for having feta but decided not to that for the other items? I would love to try again and edit completely redo the reciew if I got my money back bc the people working were lovely.

There was a wide variety of platters, salads, and sandwiches to order. We ordered platters and salads, and everything was delicious, filling, and fairly reasonable for what we got. 25 minutes after the order was placed, I was told it would be ready, so I went over just about a mile from where I live to pick it up. It was ready, and a lot of people were picking up food from that food truck that night. I'm looking forward to trying a different meal at a later date, and probably a salad, as it looked super delicious and overflowing with meat and vegetables. I can't say enough about this great place, and I highly recommend it.

Their iced coffee and pulled pork are lower on my priority list of next-to-try than 18 hour beef and five spice chicken. I appreciate that they offer salads and noodle or grain bowls as alternative vessels. The wait in line is longer than the wait for food, and service is polite. Stickers are less accurate in label than used for functionally sealing the paper. Protein amount is significantly lower than one might expect, and overall I would've liked a more balanced ingredient ratio, but the BonMi chicken white meat was surprisingly moist. Liberally applied spicy mayo hid any flaws in the crusty baguette, and the sliced jalapenos bumped it up to my preferred minimum heat levels. The other toppings also followed traditional flavor profiles. Naturally, value deflates in comparison to Eden Center.

Two ladies manning the truck were nice and polite. Unfortunately they were out of pork belly, my first choice so I settled for a beef banh mi sandwich which they were able to whip up in a jiffy. Sandwich was 'meh-Ok. Beef a bit bland, bread was spongey texture and vegetables were decent but not the freshest. I tried adding sriracha to the sandwich hoping it would help take it to the next level but it felt like I was eating a sriracha sandwich and didn't enjoy it as much to finish it. I'd stick with Banh mi from Eden Center for better value and authenticity or banh mi from Pho on Wheels- they season their bread with garlic and butter which gives it a nice twist and jam pack it with meat and fresh toppings. Maybe there was a reason BonMi did not have a line as long as the other trucks aka did not have a line at all at the crowded Truckeroo but I was left feeling 'meh"

Everything in this space is authentic, from the relatively short menu to the service it is a treat to have such an excellent meal for what amounts to a very good price. No question, in Frederick this is consistently the best Italian food served with care and pleasure. I have not had a single issue with anything over perhaps 6 dining experiences here. It is an absolute pleasure to enjoy a lovey glass of wine with the outstanding pasta dishes! If Fredrick needs anything, it is more small and outstanding restaurants like this where quality and value are in harmony.
