CHRISTMAS NIGHT BUSY BUSY!!
JoJo E.

Christmas Day night for dinner after a long trip home and I was just happy these guys were open. I called way ahead of time expecting a long wait, but was told it would only be 25 minutes. So we went to pick up our food at the 25 minute mark. NOPE. An hour plus after calling my order in was when I was actually given my food. That's okay as they were slammed busy!! However, it's not that difficult to figure out how long it will actually take to provide food based upon number of people ordering, and how quickly the kitchen can turn that food out. They still do not allow dine-in even though things have opened up elsewhere. Major bummer. I feel that they were taking advantage of Covid protocols by not wanting to pay for waitstaff. They were nice about everything and even gave me my military service discount. We took our food home and warmed it up. We're pretty happy that the sweet-and-sour pork was not soaking in the sauce as that was given in little covered side dish separate from the meat. This allowed us to warm up the pork in a frying pan to crisp it up and then serve it on our plate with the sauce on the side. It was pretty good, but didn't taste like a homemade sauce. The remainder of items that we ordered were also pretty decent, but their fried egg rolls were terrible, and extremely greasy, unfortunately. For a local Asian restaurant in Aurora, it wasn't terrible, but I think I will stick with my favorite one being the Little Panda on Hampton Avenue.

We are overcharged 13% over publisedud prices on a call in order
Mamma J.

Do not trust any prices they publish. They do not honor them. There is a difference of $13.77 between their website prices and the ones on our receipt for a pick up. We called in the order and they seems much higher than normal. So I checked. They are about 12 to 15% higher than advertised. I also noticed their health score is 35. This place has lost its way. Cheating clients and not following codes.

Spring roll

Worst Asian food I've had in a long time. Just moved to this neighborhood & was excited to try. Bad decision! Food upset my stomach instantly! Spring rolls had brown lettuce , noodles and a total of 2 shrimp sliced in half. Wow! Worst spring rolls ever! Bland everything! Cashew chicken , fried rice, spring rolls. Overall just bad!

Top to bottom: pad Thai, beef coconut lime curry. Spicy garlic shrimp

First time trying this restaurant. Ordered garlic shrimp with asparagus and garlic shrimp. The meals were not very favorable at all.

Approximately 40 minutes after arrival, I noticed them adjusting the thermostat. Service was OK. The sushi itself was delicious - helped to make up for the service, especially since there were other employees who seemed they had nothing to do.

SPACE: I feel like the space just isn't cohesive. It's large, which is great if you're stopping in with a group. There's some modern touches, but other elements feel a bit dated. Nothing feels intentional. SERVICE: Our server stopped by a couple times to check on us an ensure our glasses were full. Not bad service, but nothing super memorable either. SIPS: They offer the usual staples of Asian restaurants including boba, Thai tea, Sapporo, and sake. I chose a soda while my husband opted for a Sapporo. Nothing to write home about here. SUSTENANCE: We kicked off out meal with an order of the crab cheese wontons, because yum! For the main event we chose Manhattan, Colorado, Osaka, and Miami rolls. With spicy crabmeat inside and topped with avocado, tuna, and salmon - I just loved the simplicity of the Manhattan roll. Sometimes you need something fried! If that's the case then you should check out the Colorado roll: salmon, avocado, cream cheese, seared topped with chopped scallop, and spicy mayo sauce. Honestly they were all quite tasty! Needless to say after our sushi feast we left feeling satisfied and needing a nap! Ha! We frequently make our way to southeast Aurora, and I can say we'd give Bangkok Tokyo another visit.

In seeing Super Diamond (Neal Diamond cover band), we eagerly headed to the food truck station to fill our bellies before the show! Although the menu is small (and the line is usually long) - there is something for everyone at this truck! We chose to nosh on the Wechef Nachos and spring rolls, which were both deliciously fried and hit the spot. The nachos featured crispy fried wonton chips (NOM!) topped with chicken (or protein if your choice), homemade slaw, cilantro, and smothered in sweet soy/sriracha mayo, which was light and utterly delicious!! The spring rolls were golden fried and filled with veggies for the perfect crunch! Looking for a bahn mi? Its here! Craving dumplings? All yours! Needing the perfect mix? Curry fries to the rescue! Portions are decent and while pricing may seem steep - the unique and powerful flavors are worth it. Because this truck stops at various events and is spotted at breweries around the city, I'm bound to sample more of their offerings in the future!

They're recently redid their sitting area to be more of a restaurant where they take your order and bring the food to you vs you ordering at the counter and then they bring it out. I easily waited over, yes over, half an hour for food on a LUNCH break. Similar to other reviewers, I was not informed they were behind (there were maybe 5 others in the restaurant total) nor told there was an excessive wait for order at the counter style food. -food. 3/5 stars for the food. It was good, but overpriced ($18 for a bowl of noodles?) and enough so that I wouldn't return without some kind of push. When…read moreyou look at the menu, it's a hodge podge of everything, we generally don't gravitate towards these types of places but the Thai food is actually really good. We've gotten the pad Thai, pad see ew, drunken noodles and curries, so so good!! We always order for take out as our place is only 3 mins away. It's alway crowded when I go in, fyi sometimes the super nice lady isn't at the counter, her very young sons might be there, they can help you lol. Just a fyi, the only downside to this place is the spice consistency. Sometimes we'll get medium, sometimes mild, sometimes spicy, but whenever we get home, we always question the level of spice. The mild is sometimes tear inducing, while the spicy level is mild. Sometimes it's mixed up, sometimes it is just on another level lol.

When she brought the check to the table, she began complaining very loudly again. The meal was charged at full price. This is the worst experience I have ever had in any restaurant.
