I don't make this comment lightly or with any malice to the business. Hands down some of the worst Chinese food I've ever eaten. From the calamari cooked in some onion pepper appetizer( soft, gooy) to the Lomein which was a overcooked, mushy, spaghetti nastiness to a coconut lime beef concoction that was totally disgusting. Several neighbors on a 3rd party app recommended this place, so I went to check it out, and wow! I am so glad I did. Prices are very reasonable, employees are very friendly, the service is fast, and best of the all, the food is DELICIOUS! I've returned three more times in the past couple of months and have been trying other items from the menu, but my favorites are the Singapore Noodles and the Basil Fried Rice. We discovered this place during Covid and now we order from the a few times a month. My teenage boys and husband love their food. The menu has a lot to offer and their delivery is always very fast and free. They do a contactless pickup at the door and everything has always been just as we ordered it. The drivers are friendly. I have been looking for a good Chinese food since I moved to Colorado. Got a menu in the mail and figured, didn't hurt to try it. I am so glad I did. I ordered for lunch and ordered sesame chicken and fried rice. Omg it was so good. I also got the hot and four soup. So yummy! First time ordering takeout from Spice 8 was worth 5-stars. The restaurant was clean and limited to takeout or delivery. I didn't order anything special: combo fried rice and sesame shrimp. I thought the food was very good. The veggies in the sesame shrimp were fresh (not soggy from the sauce), the meat in the fried rice was tender, and the portions were good size. This spot is a perfect solution to the current pandemic. They have a terrific menu that they execute flawlessly. If you think all sesame chicken is the same think again. I have done take out and delivery (chow now) and the end result is identical. They have their own delivery service too. Great portions and delicious food keeps me coming back. Wow. Great to find a quality Asian spot in Aurora. My wife sat down to eat and brought me a meal back. She said the place was packed and the two phone lines were ringing nonstop. Always a good sign. So we're not the only ones. The food was wonderful. I Don't have the highest expectations as of late with Chinese takeout, but this was great. Just tasted fresh. Even the submerged broccoli in sauce was still crisp. Overall happy with this experience and that I have found a new Chinese takeout. Will be back, for sure. I am very pleased with Spice 8. Since they've opened a few weeks ago I think I've ordered from them at least half dozen times. Their menu is varied with both Chinese and Thai options. I've ordered the Thai Basil Chicken a couple times and was happy they made it truly extra spicy as I asked. It seems many of the Asian restaurants in the Denver area have items that all taste the same. I don't find that to be true with Spice 8. They do have a small dine-in section though I've only ordered takeout items. They're a new business and I wish them well. I'll certainly continue to he a regular customer. read more

Poor service. I ordered a Mongolian beef that's what the receipt said instead I get home with the wrong dish. I called and told him them they made a error and they said come back to get the right dish. So I did. Now while I'm eating meat had alot of fat and barley any meat. We had Coconut Lime Chicken, Shrimp Drunken Noodles, Lemongrass Chicken, and Pineapple Curry with an appetizer of Crab Won Tons. Will continue to order weekly from this restaurant. read more

I was so sad to find out my fave Delivery spot was gone! I was quickly put to ease by the lovely lady on the phone who assured me it was just as tasty! I was not disappointed, everything was hot and delicious. The Vietnamese egg rolls are AMAZING...completely different looking from any other egg roll I've ever had and I was pleasantly surprise (deep fried goodness). We just tried Spice 8 and we are very pleased. We dined in (there is a small dining area) and it seemed most everyone else was doing takeout. The service was great and the food came out fast. Best orange chicken, the breading was perfect and the sauce wasn't overly sweet. Loved the Mongolian beef, had the perfect kick without being overpowering. POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE OUTWEIGHS GOOD FOOD. I order from this place a lot because it's one of the few restaurants out here that's actually good but lately they've been slacking. Today I placed a delivery order and purposely didn't tip because I wasn't sure if my food would be right. As usual I put in for "leave at door" and also added a note stating to "leave at door" because my son is sleeping. The delivery person called me TWICE, first time to ask what apartment I'm in, which is clearly listed on my address because I order all the time and the unit number is there. The second time he called from outside my door to come get the food (LEAVE AT DOOR) I reminded him to leave it at the door and also reminded him about the apartment number, at this point my baby is crying cause this person woke him up. That's when the delivery person says with an attitude "you don't want tip" and I said NO I DO NOT, YOU DON'T EVEN FOLLOW DIRECTIONS. I most likely won't be ordering again. read more

I have ordered egg drop soup a million times over the years and NEVER had it so (chili oil) hot that I threw up on top of it, it had some kind of weird green ting to it. Finally found a Chinese restaurant we love. We've been looking for some time now. So happy we tried Spice 8. The Kung Pao chicken had great flavor as well as the perfect General Taos chicken, which was tangy, sweet, spicy with a hint of garlic Delicious!. The side of fried rice had great flavor that could stand alone. They were unfortunately out of egg drop soup that night but I'll try that the next go round. Very happy to have found this place. We ordered 3 entrees for delivery last night. The order arrived earlier than anticipated, which was nice. The order wasn't completely accurate, we received the wrong rice with one of the orders. Of the three entrees, the Spicy Garlic Chicken was the best. It was flavorful. The Pad Thai was very bland and disapointing. The Chicken Panang was as well and the sauce had a watery taste.
