I could certainly understand if I took the dress home and waited a week or so but this was literally two hours after purchasing the dress and it never left the mall. They refused to return the dress and issue me a credit. Regardless of any kind of policy that might be in place I think commonsense should rule. Losing that kind of money over a two hour time span is ridiculous and they should be embarrassed of themselves.Do not waste your time, do not go here, they are not credible people.

Despite the mess, i found 2 coats that i liked, one was a burgendy one, and another was a black one with a pinstripe pattern for special events like thanksgiving or a party. I ended up buying the black one with the pinstripe pattern, as for an everyday coat, i was looking for more of a red. We also looked around the store, and didn't really find much of anything. Went to the cashier, and waited in line for a bit. Finally got served by a Cashier and paid for my coat, and the total was 36.43, which really isn't bad! Paid via credit card, and went on my merry way. Hope to be back soon!

They used to have some really amazing deals at Carter's for 100% cotton clothing (one of a few good…read moreplaces to offer 100% cotton on a lot of clothes), but the styles have significantly gotten worse over the years, I'm not sure why they don't just keep some of the classic styles but they have to try to do all these new things that honestly look like a kid drew them up. We did manage to find a nice shirt for $15, but the pickings were rather slim from a style perspective. One good thing is that we were greeted as we entered by a super friendly associate and generally the service was very customer focused and friendly throughout the store, which was not the attitude I received at other shops in this mall. It's kind of like a Dollar store but in a fun and classy way. I find most of the items to be okay for the most part, although some look cheaply made. Most items you'll find have brands you've seen in other stores, and even ones you haven't seen. The pricing on some items may be an eye-catcher, but the decision is on you for the most part. Customer service could be better to draw happy ones back.

A great experience at a time of year when it's easy for retail folks to get grumpy.

Susan did a great job in helping me buy the right character sized shoe without my daughter's presence. There was another customer in as well who was shopping for her daughter who needed something last minute as well for an audition the next morning in NYC and Susan saved her as well!! So so so happy to have New York City style dance boutique right here in our local Orange County…read moretown! We had just stumbled upon Blue Dove as my daughter began her first ballet class. The staff was so helpful and gentle with her little feet and made her first dance shoe experience so fun! They had full inventory and all sizes so we could actually leave with style and size we wanted without waiting for the dreaded ordering. Anyone with a toddler knows that placing an order is not what they want when they walk into a store! I was also so happy when I got home and looked up the items we had bought online and saw that the prices were exact MSRP with no boutique mark ups. Without taking her hands off her cart, and taking her eyes off the device she was using, she decided not to look up at me, she pointed and said "in the back on the wall". Ok, rude. She wasn't helping anyone that was evident or to be seen but ok, maybe today is just not her day. I walked to the back and saw the bedroom shoes on the wall. Still didn't see what I was looking for. A pale face, greasy haired woman was approaching me so I decided to ask her. As she approached I began speaking so I could ask about my shoes and she walked right past me without saying a word. When she heard me say "okaaaayyy" she then said, without looking at me " I'll be back. I'm helping someone else" and she kept going. She radioed someone and I was left there standing in the boot section. The short, wig wearing person approached me again and I guess she was coming to help. But she just looked at me like I was ruining her day of fingering her device. So I decided not to accept any help and I walked out. I've already unsubscribed for any emails and stopped all text. I'll shop where I'm welcomed and appreciated.

I spent $197 and was given a $20 gift card to use in the next month. So basically I only paid $177 hours. The sneakers alone were only $20 yes. You can't go anywhere and spend only $20 on sneakers now. The average price tag of sneakers is $65 if not more. Very happy. All shoes fit great!
