The place was falling behind with cleanliness as I was planning our wedding and got super busy. Decided we finally needed to hire cleaners to help. Found fantastic reviews on this place through Yelp of course and google. Booking was super easy and pricing is pretty transparent. Our first cleaning I was very excited for, and booked a deep cleaning. The first team we had - arrived later than they had said. That's okay. They got to cleaning and took maybe less than two hours for our 2 bedroom 2 bath apartment. They did ask if everything looked okay before they left, and during the cleaning I did catch that the baseboards were not cleaned (this is part of the deep cleaning). She had explained that they do dust it but don't wipe - not sure if that's normal as I don't normally get cleaning done so that's fine I said ok. After they left, I did further inspection more closely and come to find that my dishes were taken out of the sink and not fully put back in, weren't washed (it was like a few utensils and maybe a bowl?). They did not wipe the countertop well at all, many crumbs left and they didn't move my small appliances around to catch it, the stove top was still very dirty, the cabinets were not wiped, corners were not vacuumed well, let's say I was highly disappointed for how much we paid. I reached out to Spekless to inform them of everything that was missed - sent pictures and explained what happened. They did refund the deep cleaning extra charge and I decided to give them another chance and requested a different team. My new team Walkiria is just Superb!!! They are SO thorough and clean SO well! They arrive on time and reorganize a lot of my stuff that I wouldn't know how to organize. I'm very happy I gave them another chance - the only con is that the pricing is definitely on the higher side when I ask my friends what they pay for theirs. read more

I needed a company pretty last minute to help with cleaning for a place I was moving in to. The scheduling was easy, the cleaners were polite and worked quickly, and the price was reasonable. They did miss a few spots but customer service was amazing and resolved the issue. Overall, solid service and I would recommend. read more

I was helping my son get his cleaning service set up for his apartment in DC. and was referred to Spekless. They are excellent! Their response was fast and their communication is great. They were even able to get him set up the same week for his first cleaning. He was very happy with the results and is looking forward to having a regular cleaning service from them going forward. The customer service for this company is top-notch. read more

I started using Spekless Cleaning a few years ago then took a break once I moved. They finished the job quickly and had my apartment looking great. Highly recommend. read more

The Spekless staff are very professional. They do a great job cleaning and there are no hassles when scheduling appointments. I've used one other cleaning company in the past and encountered problems with the quality of cleaning. the cleaner not showing up during the scheduled window and hassles when trying to schedule. I don't have any of these problems with Spekless. read more

I've used them for both move-out and move-in cleans and have been very happy with their service. I don't use any cleaner regularly but I do hire Spekless to clean when I'm away on business: coming home to a clean home is wonderful and I recommend them, they do a very good job and make it easy to schedule and pay. read more

I am so pleased with Spekless Cleaning. I found them here on Yelp, via reviews, and reached out to them. They got back to me very quickly. They are always quick to respond, provide superior customer service, and make everything so easy. The team does a beautiful job in my home, leaving everything fresh and bright. Their attention to detail is fantastic. I highly recommend Spekless Cleaning! read more

This was my first time using a home cleaning service in my life. I was really hesitant, because I am fairly frugal, and cleaning my home is something I can do myself and don't need to pay someone else to do. But, when those ads talked about "getting your time back" I really felt that. I would rather spend my time doing something else, so it was worth a try for me. I had a great experience with Spekless! Online booking was great and easy, and prices were reasonable. I got a 1bed 1 bath deep clean and paid about $200 with tip, and I did make sure to leave a generous tip. I do love the ability to leave a tip on the credit card after the service, so convenient! Sonia's Team cleaned my apartment. I can honestly say it was well worth the money, because I am fairly obsessive about how clean my apartment is, and I was impressed that it was actually cleaner than when I do it myself, no matter how long it takes me. And to be honest with you, my apartment really wasn't that dirty when they came to clean, so i wasn't sure how much of a difference I would see. I don't know if they use a special type of vacuum but I could tell immediately that the carpet was cleaner than when I use my robotic vacuum. Also, the bathroom. The bathroom shone. Which, as I said, I can never get it to do myself, My apartment is old and making an old bathroom sparkle has been hard for me, no matter how much elbow grease I use. The kitchen sink also shone, which I've also had a hard time achieving. I must echo the sentiments of other reviewers, the customer service is impeccable. They emailed me a coupon for a one time cleaning after I had booked and let me use it even though I'd already booked the cleaning. Answered my question via Yelp in minutes. Provided text and email updates. One day I called and before I got to speak to a person I hung up and decided to email instead (as I was at work and my lunch break was ending) and they called me back within seconds of me hanging up to say they missed my call. Overall I was very impressed and would recommend Spekless. My one time cleaning was wonderful and I am considering getting a regular cleaning. read more

I have been using Spekless Cleaning for several months now on a bi-weekly schedule. I cannot recommend them highly enough if you're looking for a cleaning service. Communications: consistent, informative, accurate Scheduling: very easy Clean: excellent I have tried other cleaning services that arrive outside of their stated window or cancel with no notice. Nothing like that from Spekless, so that combined with the thorough cleaning from their team is why I always book with them. read more

Friendly service, very efficient cleaning, convenient and easy to set up. Will use again

Best cleaning service I've ever used! The entire process was as easy as it can be. The online booking system was very user-friendly and everyone on the team was very communicative and pleasant to work with. I used the move-out service and it was done with amazing quality. The apartment looks spotless after the crew left. Everything was done very professionally. We will definitely use them again and highly recommend them to everyone. read more

Spekless has been consistent, reliable, and flexible! We were able to make last minute changes to upcoming cleanings due to some schedule changes quickly and easily via text. overall we are very happy with their work and customer service! read more

The cleaning team leader was very aggressive. She did a very superficial cleaning. They were ready to pack up in 1 hour and 20 minutes. They seemed to be in a hurry to move to their next cleaning assignment. As they were ready to leave, I identified that the carpet was not vacuumed properly. I could tell that nothing was moved in order to vacuum and there were crumbs/dirt on the carpet. The tables and windows were not wiped. Upon identifying the missed areas on the carpet, tables and windows, the cleaning lady became rude and aggressive to me. She started tossing and throwing things aggressively when she vacuumed. She was throwing stuff on the table. The whole cleaning experience was almost a traumatic event. I have never experienced anything like this before as I have using different cleaning services for several years. It is not worth the price and it is better to clean oneself than put up with unprofessionalism and rude behavior. read more

I was so happy with this service. They did an excellent job not only cleaning my home but in communicating about timing and booking.

The team did a wonderful job for my move-out clean. Scheduling was clear and easy over text, the team arrived on time at the beginning of the provided window, and sent me a picture of the finished clean since I was not home at the time. When the clean was finished, the apartment was spotless. I highly recommend Spekless cleaning for a move out clean! read more

Spekless Cleaning provided a deep clean to our townhouse after we fell behind on our cleaning routine during our wedding & honeymoon. Was totally blown away by how thoroughly they cleaned our entire house, everything was amazing! Not only did they mop every floor and make every surface sparkly, they went above and beyond: They cleaned out the crumb tray of our toaster. They organized my husband's shoes in the front hall closet. They lifted soap-scum off a shower tile that we assumed was permanently stuck on. Communication was super easy and efficient, had a very responsive team checking in by text and sending updates and reminders. Can't recommend Spekless Cleaning enough! They were wonderful! read more

They do a great job cleaning, but just as important, I've never found a business with such amazing communications, customer service, and follow up. You cannot believe how quickly and thoughtfully they respond to every request or comment. And the cleaning crew is always on time, thorough, friendly, and diligent. We've been using Spekless for a few years and highly recommend. read more

I started to use Spekless Cleaning around this time last year. Their price is higher than market price but their customer service was so good that I was willing to pay a premium. Everything was great until the pandemic hit. Maids were overbooked so they started to skipping cleaning areas and didn't clean as careful as before. I paused for a few months hoping they will restore their operation quality. After I resumed their service, new maids were obviously not trained properly, and didn't do a good job, and I was overcharged a couple times due to miscommunication. They eventually corrected the charges and offered a re-clean for free, which was nice. But at that point, I just didn't feel like risk the energy for another service with uncertain qualities, and I was not sure if there will be more "miscommunications". I kept their service during the most scary days of the pandemic as I wanted to help keep them in business. I honestly don't know what went wrong but eventually I decided to terminate the service. read more

Spekless is the absolute best! They have done an impeccable job on our apartment and then when we moved into a house, they have been amazing here as well. They truly clean every nook and cranny, along with following our instructions about which rooms to clean and which don't need it. They are very thorough and take care of our nicer items. I couldn't recommend Spekless more! They also take all COVID precautions which is great since we have to be home working while they are here. Their rates are also really great - they have multiple options so definitely look into those to see what works best for you! read more

I requested a deep clean of my home while I was out of town recovering from a surgery. Since I live in a complex I had a lot of instructions for the cleaning crew to get in, use a parking pass, etc etc. They did it all seamlessly and I came back to a spotless home. They got every crevice and corner and it's such a relief to not have to worry about cleaning. I'll definitely hire them again. read more

Spekless is hands-down, fantastic. Lesly and team are wonderful, personable, and even love our big dogs. Attention to detail, easy booking, and weekly follow up from the office are a few of the reasons they make life easier. And, of course, the clean home! Thanks, Spekless! read more

They did a great job. They sent 3 cleaners and they were able to complete it in less than 2 hrs. Highly recommend.

They exceeded my expectations! I live in a very old garden apartment (radiators, ancient tile and grout) and it was cleaner when they left than when I moved in. The kitchen was spotless. I hated to cook in it and mess it up. Highly recommend overall. read more

(Work done on 7/2): Scheduling was great! They were very accommodating when I had to switch my date and came on a Saturday. I needed a move IN cleaning. I expressed to the scheduler that deep cleaning and sanitizing of well touched items (bathrooms, kitchen) was a must. Even prior to COVID, I would not feel comfortable moving my things into a home that hadn't been cleaned well. The previous owners had done a pretty good cleaning after moving out, but there were still things I could see that made it worth getting a deep cleaning, or at least that's what I thought I was paying for. They crew didn't bring in a lot to clean with. I left them in the house while I ran some errands. After 1.5 hours they called to say they were almost done. I was surprised but figured maybe they were still thorough. When I arrived they were mopping (more accurately, lightly floor wiping) the kitchen and entryway, though no where else in the house was wet so I'm not sure if that was a quick thing they decided to do when I walked in to look as if they had done the rest of the house. It also seemed to be just water being used. Still, at first glance things looked good, I thanked them and tipped them. In the next few days, prior to moving in anything, I started to spot things that shouldn't be there if even a basic cleaning had been done. So I started to take photos of what I found. - sticky spilled substances on bedroom floor (floors are hardwood or LVP) that I took a wet napkin to and it came up so it should have come up for the cleaners if they had cleaned the floor - large dust balls and cobwebs in the closet (I assume closets were not opened/cleaned at all) - dog food on top of floor vent - debris in cabinets - cobwebs in window corners and stair rails -substance on bathroom countertop -sticky handles and knobs within kitchen and throughout the house -cobwebs in the shower ceiling corners It is as if they looked at the house and figured it was clean enough already so they slightly wiped over some things. I let the scheduling team know about my issues and shared photos. They apologized and first offered to send "best team" to come out to reclean but we were moving in the next day so it was pointless. I wish I had at least been given a you're going to get a shitty team discount upfront. They did give me me $25 back from my $369+tip service. I also didn't appreciate that I was charged before the service took place when they said I wouldn't be charged until I approved the quality of service. They get 1 star for the great scheduling team and another star for removing most of the cobwebs in the unfinished laundry room when I didn't expect them to clean that. But I was still home when they did that. Maybe I should have stayed and I could have received 4 or 5 start service. They asked that I consider giving them another try, since I had mentioned I was going to be looking for a bi-monthly or monthly service. At this point, Spekless would have to come in at an awesome, we're sorry let us prove we can do better price for me to even consider using them again. read more

I absolutely love spekless. Used them once for a deep clean and decided to have them come back monthly, then biweekly. The convenience of having someone cleaning regularly and doing a great job is well worth the price. Plus booking is super easy through text and you can tip the cleaners directly on the site too and they get notified immediately which is nice. Communication is also great they let you know what time exactly they'll arrive and when they're finished they text to let you know. Would definitely recommend! read more

I retained Spekless to do biweekly cleanings of my 3 bedroom home. I pay extra for them to clean the basement and perform extra "pet cleaning" due to our dogs. I've worked with them for 8 months now and here's the good and bad (some very bad): The Good: The crews that arrive are pleasant and when they clean an area of our home, they do an okay job. Not a particularly great job but better than other services I've used. The Bad: - We've Been Ripped Off: Spekless charges us $195 per cleaning based on, among other things, the fact that our house is a 3-bedroom. Two of the three bedrooms were minimally used for several months while Spekless was coming every other week. During that time, I noticed that NOTHING in those rooms moved. Scraps of paper that were on the floor one week were still there after Spekless had been to the house to clean several times. The wripples in a throw blanket along the bottom of one of the beds remained exactly the same. A pillow that toppled over on another bed remained toppled over. A light stool that was in the middle of a carpet and would have to be moved to vacuum the carpet was in the exact same position week-to-week -- it had not shifted at all. So, before Spekless' next visit, I decided to test a theory that, despite charging us to clean 3 bedrooms, Spekless was only cleaning 1 of them (our master bedroom). We left dirt tracked onto one of the beds by the dog where he left it and specks of paper on the carpets, and took pictures to confirm the exact positioning of this dirt and debris before the Spekless crew arrived. Sure enough, after the Spekless team came, cleaned, and left -- the dirt and paper were still on the bed and carpet, in the exactly some positions without having shifted in the slightest. The other things that we noticed had not moved for months still had not moved and a rug was dusty to the touch right after Spekless had supposedly cleaned. Spekless was definitely charging us to clean 3 bedrooms but were only actually cleaning 1. After submitting all of this information to Spekless, they gave us a partial refund for one of the service visits, but not for the MONTHS that this had been going on. - They (Hopefully) Broke Our Security Sensors & Said Nothing: After one Spekless visit, our security company contacted us to say that the security sensors on one of our windows had been disabled. Sure enough, we found that they had been removed and left on the window sill tucked behind our blinds. At worst, the security system was deliberately disabled for a large window that could easily be entered from one of our patios. At best, the Spekless team broke the sensors and did not tell us. Spekless apologized when we brought this issue to its attention, but continued to send the same team to our house despite multiple requests that they not return. - Strange Use of Our Stuff: Spekless advertises that its crews use their own products, but we've definitely found that they've used both our cleaning and paper products to clean the house. One time, we found that our large bottle of Dawn dish soap that had about an inch of concentrated soap left in the bottom of it had been filled up with water. We asked Spekless about it and they said that the crew knocked the bottle over. We asked what that had to do with anything -- it was a squeeze bottle of concentrated liquid. It's not like anything would have poured out of it if the bottle had been knocked over. But, even if it did (it didn't) -- the crew's response was to fill it up with water to try to make it seem like it didn't happen? Because what, we wouldn't notice the difference between 1" of concentrated dish soap and 6" of sudsy water? We were just trying to figure out what happened and were rewarded with dishonest nonsense. - Scheduling: Most cleaning companies will give you a 2-hour arrival window. We've not been able to get one less than 4 hours from Spekless. So, if you're like us and need to be home when the cleaning crew arrives and does their work, it pretty much takes up your WHOLE day. We were informed while I was typing this that after waiting almost 4 hours for the Spekless team to arrive today, they would not be able to arrive and start cleaning for another 40 minutes (and even that was not guaranteed). We told Spekless to cancel the appointment at no charge to us since the team missed the 4-hour arrival window and we simply have to get on with the other things we need to get done today. A 4-hour arrival window is ample time for Spekless (any service provider, frankly) to figure out a way to get a crew to our house for a scheduled service. We've also asked Spekless to cancel our future appointments. Maybe we'll try them again if we cannot find anything better out there. We'll see. Right now, we're just too frustrated to think about them coming back to our home. read more

This cleaning service was SO BAD! They were hired to clean the house I was moving into. They did a terrible job. Left soap scum on the soap dish. Left hair in the bathroom. Surfaces still felt dusty. Grease on the backsplash in the kitchen. They were not detailed cleaners at all. And I was told I was getting the Varsity team. Do not hire this service if you care about details! read more

They did a great job. They scheduled us with a deep clean request even though their website didn't list availability. This was our first time using them. They made sure to understand what we needed, offered the same pricing in two different calls (it was slightly more than we hoped, but still reasonable), and were COVID-conscious. The team that arrived texted 15 minutes before arrival and were all properly masked. They did a beautiful job and our apartment is spotless! read more

Always great service! Would recommend to anyone in the area. Easy to communicate with via text as well.

I have used about 3 different cleaning companies in the past 15 years and Spekless is by far the best. It's the same person (Rosy) who comes with her team. She is lovely! She always sends me a quick text to let me know she is on the way and she is ALWAYS on time. My home always smells amazing once they are done and everything is clean, they don't take shortcuts. I also like that the company always follows up with me to ask me how the service was and to remind me of my next appointment. If I need to reschedule or adjust it's so easy to do and I can do it via text vs. having to call. I highly recommend them, my experience has been great. read more

I was in contact with this company via text message and was given the following quotes: $232.50 for weekly standard cleaning and $332.50 for a monthly deep clean (both of which excluded the basement.  I called to schedule a cleaning within hours of receiving the quotes. While on the phone, I requested that vacuuming the basement (no need to do dusting, cleaning, etc.) be added to the monthly deep cleaning. For the add-on request of vacuuming, they wanted to charge me $150 more for 10-20 minutes of vacuuming. After much back and forth, the deep clean rate with the added vacuuming was changed to $357.50, which was amenable. The booking was scheduled, credit card information was provided to them and I received an email confirmation of the booking.  An hour later, they texted me to say that they were raising the price for the standard cleaning even though they were aware that the standard cleaning agreement hadn't changed and still excluded the basement. They said I had 2 pricing options for the standard cleaning: a flat fee of $277.50, or $110 per hour. They even tried to tell me the $110/hour was a bargain compared to the original flat fee- I was appalled and insulted by their at manipulation given that the house would likely take 3 hours to clean and would total $330 ($100 more than the original quote, for the same exact job). I explained that there should be no price changes after the price was already given to me in writing and the booking had already been confirmed. It still astonishes me that they would not honor their own price even if they supposedly "quoted in error due to a system glitch." The entire company lacks the professionalism and integrity that is expected with such positive reviews. This reprehensible experience demonstrates their lack of accountability and ethic. It is such a pity and a disappointment- a complete waste of 3 hours of texts and phone calls. This is not quality customer service and I hope my review will inspire internal improvements within the company and also save others from going through the same dismal experience I had. read more

What I like is that their pricing is itemized and transparent and we can choose the items we need for our budget .Very easy to make appointments. Came as planned.
