Came out to go to work one morning and had a flat tire. My vehicle only has 4500 miles on the odometer so my tires are the ones installed at the factory, and are in still in great shape. I aired it up and took it to a shop near my house. In 10 minutes they came to me to say my tire had a puncture on the sidewalk and not on the tread, which prevented a patch from being a solution for safety reasons. The gentleman working the counter also said the tech noted the tire in question was close to needing replaced anyway....They wanted me to buy another tire. The man was more than happy to "make me a deal" on a new set of tires, but because of the puncture's location "on the sidewall" it was unrepairable. I gave the $10 for a diagnostic fee and got in my car and went to work. I found this place when looking online, and since it was close to my job, I went to Speedy Tires during lunch. I informed them I had a leak, but didn't tell them about my experience with the other wheel and tire business. They found the leak quickly and it was going to be easy to patch. I asked if it was on the tread or on the sidewall....they showed me where it had a nail definitely in the tread pattern. Overall it was a very good experience! It was fast, easy, and inexpensive. They had a desire to help the customer, not sell something the customer didn't need. The level of customer service was to a remarkable level. One of the fellows working there was making a trip to the convenience store across the street, and asked if I wanted anything while he was there. I said no thank you, I only had my bank card, and had no cash on me. When he returned, he'd brought a drink back for me anyway. I will be happy to return there if I need any more tire repairs, or when I'm ready to purchase a new set. read more

Man, these reviews about this place are true...Don't take your business to Crowely and Altamesa.. I was there 30 min for a tire change and there wasn't a single car in front or behind me .Then when they were done I checked the tire and my rim was scratched to Hell...I shoulda listened to the comments...Up to you if you want to take the chance.. Took my car to get two new tires mount and balance. The manager told me to pull in the stall while waiting a employee move a car jack by my car then the handle fell down hit the front fender left a scratch. I was sitting in the car a customer was standing by my car i got out then saw the scratch. The employee started lying saying he didn't do it. The customer saw it and couldn't believe the employee was lying. I told the manager what happened he took pictures and I did to he said he is going to call the owner and said I have two options. He was charging me 40 for the service so I could leave with out paying or he would fix the problem. The damage was more than 40 dollars. So I told him I want it fix. The manager said okay then I said I want to talk to the owner to make sure my car will get repaired. The manager wouldn't let me talk to the owner about the damage and repair. After asking the manager again to talk to the owner he got upset and told me to leave and he will not do anything now. The manager told me to pull my car out the stall I said no. Then I called the police. The manager got more upset and told the employees to get a jack and move my car. The police dispatcher told me don't move the car until the police come. The police came i showed him the damage. The police officer talk to me and the manager. Now the manager and the employee that caused the damage started lying and saying no damage happened. The police officer said its a civil matter. I ask the police officer to get the owners phone number the manager refused then the police officer went back to ask him again. The police officer said the manager was calling him but the owner is not answering the phone now. I told the officer when I was talking to the dispatcher said they should have insurance. I ask the officer to get the insurance information. The officer told me the manager said it was expired. So I got a incident report. I took the option not paying 40 dollars for the service . The damage that the employee caused was more than that. The manager did not handle the situation right by getting upset because I ask to speak to the owner and allowing his employee to lie to police officer about causing the damage. That shop is doing very bad business by lying to a police officer and having expired insurance. I would never do any business with them. Very bad business. read more

Do NOT take your vehicle to this place, they are stealing parts from people's vehicle and claim that they put it back on there. Took my truck to Speedy tires on 10/10/25 for wheel balancing and the next day I discovered that my center chrome wheel cap was missing and only 3 of 6 lug nuts was on one of my wheel. That black guy with the rotted teeth is the lead SCAMMER, he was very rude. Will be filing a police report against speedy tires for theft of property. read more

A few days ago, I called to get a quote on what it would cost to order and install a new tire. Today I called again to confirm the quote I had been given (they confirmed it). They were willing to work with me, and even fix my frame that was bent underneath my car, holding the condensed board and the radiation for free. I have Been waiting 45 minutes to get an alignment on my 2008 Ford crown Victoria and I watched them pull a guys truck in for an oil change and completely skip me in line. So I went to speak to the representative whom I had previously spoke with and told him what happened. He goes out an tells the guy he's working on the wrong vehicle and the guy keeps on doing the oil change!!!!! The other guy just says you're next like my time isn't valuable......did I mention I was sent here from their other shop up the street by the dps on altamesa!!!!! I took my car in for an oil change. Next morning car was leaking oil all over my driveway. I took it back and explained that it was not leaking oil when I brought it in. First they said I needed a new oil pan then they said I needed a new gasket. Not confident with that information I decided to get someone else to diagnose the problem. It turns out that they evidently stripped the threads and tried to repair it with a massive amount of sealant. The next day I spoke with the other manager, Adam. He claimed that VW plugs are easily damaged and only last a few oil changes. He agreed to re plug it with a kit made for those situations. However, afterwards my car leaked even worse. I had to pay $680 to VW Dealer to install a new oil pan. This was something that didn't need repair in the first place. SOME LESSONS ARE COSTLY Lesson 1) Don't take your car here! They don't care about doing the job right the first time. Lesson 2) If a shop covers up their shoddy work you'd be a fool to allow them to pretend to correct it. I took my car for an oil change yesterday took off and I had a big nut obviously a nail used for bumpers and shop wise on my tire I live down the street not even 2 minutes away and I come back to tell them they wanna be rude and say I did not get it there when I took off and came back a minute after , I could've gotten a blow out. If you're stranded and about to die then I guess come to speedy tire. Don't bother asking if they have you're size cuz they'll just tell you yes even if they don't. The only good thing I can say is that they are cheap but you're definitely gonna get cheap work. I came here to get my wife's tire replaced, sounded great over the phone. Asked them if they had a 215/65/16 that was used in stock and they said they had some for $50 so I headed over. Got there was talking to them and they ended up only having a 205/60/16 which was a shock because a 205 is about an inch shorter then a 215 but hey Yk what I got it anyways because I wanted my wife to get off her doughnut so I got it and I wasn't really to mad about that. Within the time that I was waiting for them to be done with me I watched them do a lady's vehicle (which was a very nice car probably about a $60,000 car) and they were getting her tires everything was good when they were mounting the tire. Then they went to balance and forgot to take off the hub cap not once but twice which is all black and a pretty expensive hub cap and hit it and dropped it on the ground most likely scratching it up also just hitting the face of the wheel and grinding the back of the wheel with the pole that you put the wheel on to balance the wheel where it seats up to the hub of the vehicle. My main point here is at least this location is very unorganized and not very knowledgeable about their job. Just over all a little sloppy. The shop was very very dirty and as someone who has worked in mechanic shops for about 8 years now I can genuinely tell y'all it's not clean at all and I completely get it being a mechanic shop but even for a mechanic shop it's dirty. Also the staff wasn't anything special either they were very stand-offish and secretive. Hopefully they can get everything together but I would really probably just go to discount or somewhere else for a tire. read more

I went in for an alignment and when they finished I inspected all my wheels and noticed they replaced 3 of my lug nuts with some old beat up ones which didn't even tighten all the way. I all so noticed they scratched my rims where they aligned it from... When I confronted them about it they kept coming up with stories of what had happened. Never coming back again! read more

Was quoted a price, ok'd the shop to do the work, kept my vehicle for a week(no work done)(waiting on a part), get there a week later and was told by staff(who earlier stated he was a manager) that his boss didn't charge enough in labor, so it would cost more... Showed up to this business to have my car inspected, could not get waited on. Other vehicles that showed up after me were waited on. These people would not give me the time of day.
