Ok so, I go into the Speedy Stop often in the Wells Branch area off of Bratton lane. The store is always clean, the staff are generally nice and they always carry the stuff I want. However, I am not going back because of the most recent expierence I just had. I do not know his name, but he always works in the morning, and wears glasses. He is a cordial guy and is always making jokes and conversations, especially if you are a regular. This incident occured on 10-20-2014. As he was ringing me up, he asked my name. I said Kelley. He said "I will have to remember this, because there is another Kelly that comes in here and she looks like you." "She has the same hair, and she is big like you." When he proceeded to tell me that I was big, he outstreached his arms. I was kind of taken a back. I said "ummm what did you just say?" He called me big again and did the same gesture with his arms. He then tried to make a joke and wanted to high five me. I told him that was an insensitive comment. He was not familar enough with me to know if a comment like that would hurt my feeling or how I would take it. I told him I was kinda humilated and the comment hit me wrong, and I would not be coming back to the store. I was a paying customer, I do not need for him to tell me I am a big girl. read more
