Every visit is a new low, plagued by consistent issues that make it clear management has no interest in maintaining a decent, safe, or welcoming environment. The hot food is perpetually burnt and unappetizing, reflecting a clear lack of care in the food service. Beyond the physical squalor, the operational issues are rampant and deeply disturbing: Unprofessional Staff and Loitering: Employees regularly permit their "friends" to loiter on the premises, creating an uncomfortable and unprofessional atmosphere. Blame Culture and Lack of Accountability: When incidents occur, staff are quick to blame random customers or "memorable" individuals rather than taking responsibility or investigating properly. Alarming Discrimination: Most egregious is the consistent and overt racial discrimination. Employees frequently and unjustly kick out Black customers. I have witnessed this firsthand on multiple occasions, and it is an appalling practice. Retaliation for Complaints: Despite submitting several detailed complaints to corporate regarding these serious issues, there has been zero follow-up or resolution. Tonight, I was inexplicably asked to leave with no reason given whatsoever. Given my history of complaints and frequent patronage, this feels like blatant retaliation. Honestly, my heart isn't broken to be forced out of such a deplorable place, but it's an absolute joke. I've spent money here nearly every other night out of convenience, but I will no longer tolerate this level of disrespect, discrimination, and appalling service. Speedway, your reputation absolutely precedes you here in Oneonta. This location is nothing short of the "toilet of Oneonta," a total disaster in every conceivable way.
