This particular location is pretty decent, friendly staff, clean bathrooms, can't ask for much more than that.

My husband and I came here this past weekend during the Solara Market and had a good time. Parking…read morewas crazy due to the event and we had to park over by CVS and walk over in the rain, which sucked, but it was fun once we were inside. The back area with most of the booths had too many people in it at all times, which stressed us out. I felt like couldn't really look at everything and often had to wait awkwardly to the side until other people finally moved out of the way. I ended up getting a new permanent bracelet after one of mine broke a couple weeks ago. I hadn't looked at the vendor lineup before coming, but had hoped there would be a permanent jewelry booth there and was very happy to see Golden Era. The owner was so nice and told me that Milk & Honey often lets her come by for events, so that's nice to know when going back to get coffee again. We also got a couple of gorgeous floral shortbread cookies from a vendor and had them as a nice little treat the next day. Despite how busy/packed it was, it was still very fun to have the event to browse while sipping on a coffee. I also loved the booth diversity- a fresh flower booth to make bouquets, cookies, permanent jewelry, antiques, vintage jewelry, a few clothing booths, custom press on nails, candles, a mini bookstore outside, and a pet bandana shop outside as well. For coffee, I ordered The Eddie (sea salt caramel macchiato) and my husband ordered The Milk & Homey (cinnamon + honey). The Eddie was definitely sweeter than The Milk & Honey, but both were very tasty! They had a super cute "whimsy bar" set up at the pickup side of the counter to bedazzle your coffee. This was my first time there, so I'm not sure if this was just for the event or not. We also each ordered a turkey caprese sandwich with a side of kettle chips, but they were a little disappointing. They were supposed to be on sourdough, but came out on white bread instead that kept sticking to our teeth and made the sandwich mush together when biting into it. Would love to come back and try a different sandwich or maybe a baked good next time instead.

This little gem is exactly what I'm looking for in a coffee shop. I took two steps inside and felt…read morelike I was at home. The vibes are straight up moody, in the best way possible. Twinkle lights, a neon sign with the phrase "stay wild," plants everywhere and I mean everywhere! Little things that I noticed and loved included a table with a community puzzle and some board/card games, very cool artwork on the walls, and hints of Halloween (skeletons and skulls), my favorite. The community feeling was also very obvious. Everyone was friendly, there were so many cute dogs and people waving and saying hi to each other as they came and went. I loved it. Now, on to the coffee... I was going to be staying put for a while before jumping on the road for a three hour drive so I ended up getting two of their seasonal drinks and a pastry. I always go for the seasonal options and they had several good ones to try. I started with the "peelin' so good," a banana and caramel latte with strawberry drizzle. I opted to get it with oat milk. Oh my goodness, it was so good. You might question banana in a latte, but I've been seeing them pop up everywhere and it was delicious. I also got a babka pastry, which I had never heard of before. It's pretty much a braided roll mixed with a sticky bun. It had cinnamon in it and a syrup over it. I snacked on that while I was there and finished it in my car. Super tasty! Before I left I got the "beez nutz" latte because I knew I would need help staying awake while driving for three hours. It was a honey latte with a peanut butter cold foam. Also delicious. I sipped down every drop. This shop is the perfect mix of dark whimsy, community, and coffee. A special place indeed. Give them a visit!

I've been wanting to try silver linings, but they re branded under the name Anecdote. Same spot and building as silver linings. When I came in, I was immediately greeted by Clint, him and his wife Marty are the owners. Eventually, Marty came in while I was there and I got to chat with them. They are very sweet. They also own another coffee shop that I really liked which was the mocha nut, but now they are both under the name Anecdote. The inside had a chillaxed vibe, with comfy seating. The decor reminded me of the mocha nut as they had some of the same wall art. I was undecided of what to order, so I asked Clint for recommendations. He told me of some seasonal drinks and that always peaks my interest. I went for the Red velvet latte with almond milk and it was delicious. I got it hot and really enjoyed it, I'm sure it would be just as tasty cold. I chilled inside while sipping on my latte, sat with my thoughts to prep my day. They have a restroom located all the at in the back of this establishment. n the back area near the restroom, the seats were so comfortable that I enjoyed lingering there with my coffee and having a relaxed start to the day. They offer wi-fi and have the password on display, I'll keep that in mind when needing a quaint place to work/study, with good coffee.

I don't exactly seem like their target audience and ideal customer. But, oh, how you would be wrong! Yes, when I find myself in a cute boutique, I'm usually the only guy to be seen (unless you count those hapless husbands who were dragged there just so his wife could "pop in and see and what they have") But fellas, listen up! Boutiques are your secret weapon. They do all the heavy lifting for you and instead of looking through a million stores to find that one perfect gift, go to the one store that has a million (well, almost) perfect gifts. When you find yourself asking: "Where can I find a great gift?" Let me introduce you to the boutique! Sometimes you can enter a store like this and have no idea what you are looking for and simply be inspired by the numerous gift ideas. On this particular day, I had a pretty good idea of what I was looking for, but alas, I couldn't find what I had in my head. No worries! Therein lies the power of the well-curated boutique. I quickly found a wonderful gift that may have even been a better fit than my initial idea. And it didn't stop there! I found other cute gifts to accompany my primary gift. Redefined Hope Boutique is a special place. Unlike any other boutique I've visited, Redefined Hope has a mission. This boutique supports the Hope Center, which is a local ministry on the front lines of fighting human trafficking. Do you need a better reason to visit? I'll be honest, I've been in and around "church world" for several decades, and when I usually see coffee shops or bookstores or other storefronts attached to churches, the can be a little less quality. It can be tough running a successful business with primarily volunteers. But Redefined Hope is simply a wonderful boutique standing eye to eye with any specialty shop, and I'd say they are even nicer than most I've visited. Redefined Hope is a beautiful shop with quality goods placed thoughtfully on tables and shelves around the store. You are sure to find the perfect gift (or gifts!) for that special someone. I know I did. From clothing to jewelry to books to travel mugs to plants, you won't be disappointed in the selection. They also have a coffee shop in-house, and all of the staff is so helpful. One of the coolest things they had on this St. Valentine's Day was a "Bloom Box" (I think that is what they called it). It was several bins filled with gorgeous wildflowers and you could hand-select the flowers of your choice. They also had a table with butcher paper, twine, shears and tape so you could wrap your bouquet with thoughtfulness and love. I had so much fun picking wildflowers and accompanying greenery to craft the perfect bouquet. I highly encourage you to pop-in to the Redefined Hope Boutique and see what they are about, learn about the Hope Center and have fun browsing their well-curated selection of beautiful wares. I look forward to going back when I'm looking for that next perfect gift for a very special person.

I typically only come in during the holidays because they have such unique items that are not available anywhere else. I tend to find some kind of special item for my daughter's December birthday. I especially love the cute bags they use for your purchase. I decided to get a latte today and sit and enjoy the little space they have ... bonus points for not having a room full of people using their space for office work or it looking like the coffee shop we tried yesterday. Very nice ambiance and the sunlight makes that room so warm and cozy. A nice array of books to just look through. I enjoyed it very much! Maria made my latte, she was very sweet. I even was able to try the graham cracker ice cream which was delicious! Definitely going back for that! I purchased a couple little trinkets, and looked at all the different items. Such a lovely little shop. Please consider supporting this amazing shop. A little bit about the place itself is in the pictures.

I spent a little while browsing and I wanted all of the things. There's just something about gifts made by someone with intention and love. When I finally made my way to the coffee counter, I ordered not my standard black coffee, but a chai latte. Do you know why? Because I freakin' could! The chai latte was made with whole milk, and it was delicious all the way to the end. Coffee beverages come in two sizes: 12 ounces and 16 ounces. They also have baked goods, like pastries, bagels, muffins, croissants, and even a chocolate-filled waffle. I also saw that they offer avocado toast and bagel sandwiches. There are a few tables inside this cozy coffee shop, located near the counter where you order.
