No matter what produce you get they don't do proper or any quality checks on their produce. Returning it!

Either No or low quality check on their produce masked as fresh. Purchased these yesterday and went to open one only to find this. This has happened too many times. I'll be refunding it to you Kroger! Low quality, not looking after the customer, and no value. "Welcome to Wal-Mart" should be Krogers new branding. I will start buying g my produce elsewhere.

I love krogers grocery stores but this store I will definitely not be returning to . Let's start with everyone including the staff were staring at me as if they never seen a African american person before there were several items I was looking for because I dont know this kroger store like I know the one by me in Avon when I asked two sales associates neither one could help me . This was a very big store they even had a whole section of clothes and shoes it was a very nice store but because of the customer service I will NOT BE RETURNING I shall stick to the Avon location where I feel I will be treated better.

I'm giving heavy consideration to making this Kroger Market Place my regular grocery store, even if it's not the closest option. I had remembered watching the construction begin and wondering what kind of monster department store would be filling the space. Costco? Sam's Club? I also remember being just as shocked to hear it was slated to be a Kroger, and even more surprised to hear that massive Kroger palaces exist that sell clothing and furniture. Whaaaa? The place eventually fell off my radar, until I was driving south on Emerson and realized that by now it was probably open. I can't think of one gripe about this Kroger location! A contemporary, welcoming design with clean floors and wide aisles. Inside you'll find added amenities like a Starbucks, sushi bar, cheese shop, bulk options, toys, home decor and clothing. One thing to make note of was how good the "grab & go" items looked. Much more than just bland sandwiches and soups from a bag, we found pancetta brussel sprouts, truffle mac & cheese, homemade meatloaf, asparagus and portabella quiche, and chicken with rice. A bevy of tempting options in this section, to say the least. I was also really impressed by the number of gluten-free options I found while meandering. Not only is there a dedicated "gluten-free" section amidst the baking staples, but I spotted other fun options like cookie dough (dangerous), apple-cinnamon waffles, and corn dogs. I love that this location proudly supports local businesses, offering many regional craft beers and even Hotel Tango liquor. I also found two self-standing kiosks featuring food items from around Indiana. As clothing isn't something I plan on purchasing from a Kroger (I have standards), I pretty much walked right past this section. However, I did end up buying a really warm pair of tacky mittens that were marked down to $4 from $20! As someone who often makes the trek from Irvington to the Southport SuperTarget for lack of nice options on the east side, I definitely plan to be adding this Kroger Market Place to my arsenal. This is one of the nicest grocery stores I've seen in Indy!

This Gas station always has a good price for the area and if you are an awards member you at least get 3 cents off.

So all of the old reviews that mention Marsh don't apply to this newer store, now called Needler's Fresh Market. I don't know -- I think Needler's is pretty good! It has a little bakery on site (Lemon's Bakery Cafe), which has hot food and baked goods, with seating by big windows that overlook Mass Ave. Beyond the cafe, the rest of the joint is a small grocery store. You'll find a modest produce section with fresh-looking greens and fruit and things. They sell house-made hummus and sushi. The wine section is abysmal, but I did find a bottle of one of my cheapie low-key favorite bottles of Malbec here, so I picked that up. The dried ramen section is also better than it needs to be. The prices seem to be about the same as Kroger and other grocery stores. Checkout was quick and there were several registers open. The only thing is that I entered through the cafe and exited by the registers, so I got a little turned around once I exited. Keep in mind that you can only enter/exit through the cafe at certain hours. They lock that door after a particular time. (I think it's 5 or 6 p.m.)

While I can't say I frequent The Fresh Market, I have come here somewhat regularly enough that I'm…read moresurprised I've never reviewed this SoBro grocery staple that feels perfectly located. The basics: The Fresh Market is a chain started in 1982 by Ray and Beverly Berry in Greensboro, North Carolina. It is still North Carolina-based and remains a somewhat modestly sized chain at 161 stores nationwide. It was very much modeled after European markets and shopping here is, quite simply, a warm and immersive experience. It's luxurious, however, it's actually a very simple market and I'd honestly never be able to shop here and get everything that I needed. I live a simple life. Not that simple. In 2022, Cencosud, a Chilean retail company, acquired a 67% stake in the company. From 2021-2023, the chain was named the best grocery store in America by USA Today. Now then, back to the local scene. The Fresh Market is unique in that it has an attached garage along with its street-level parking. There are accessible spots along the front and an automatic door. The floor plan seems to be wheelchair friendly and I was pleasantly surprised by employees actually being available and enthusiastic. Cash registers were actually nicely arranged. While there are end caps here (those enticing areas next to a cash register designed to get you to buy one last thing), they aren't cluttered and are surprisingly pleasant. I had the chance to stop in before an event at Jazz Kitchen across the street. The Fresh Market is best described as a specialty grocery store rather than a more full-service one. They offer easy meals, fresh foods, restaurant-quality meet/seafood, premium produce, baked goods, deli platters, and more. They also carry flowers. While I didn't really find what I was looking for, everything I found made me smile. It made me realize how much I wanted to return when I had more time to really explore it fully. Everything I saw really seemed to emphasize quality. This location is one of four in Indiana with the others being in Fort Wayne, Evansville, and Carmel. Since I wasn't able to find what I was looking for, I have a hard time going with the full-on five-star review. However, I'll add the disclaimer that I was rushing due to time constraints and very much look forward to returning at a time that allows me to really explore shopping here as it's close to my home and so incredibly pleasant. Grocery shopping usually stresses me out. Here? It actually relaxed me. Four stars for now. I'm sure I'll be forking over that fifth star in the future.

Had I known that, I never would have placed a large order. I was bothered by numerous text messages about items that were allegedly unavailable. My husband returned to the store and located all the items that were missing from our order. If you cared about customers, you would not use Instacart or would, at the very least, advise customers that their delivery will likely be bothersome and incorrect. While we have been your customers for years, we have decided to take our business to Fresh Thyme.
