The chicken pie, though not pictures, was affordable and still delish!!!! A healthy portion at that. The wedges come available all day in either 3,5, or 7. They're quite large and usually fried to perfection. My coworker is an avid wedges fan and goes CRAZY over these. However, this morning they just weren't as good as usual. It almost seemed like they were from the day before. For breakfast, I ordered a sandwich with Neese's sausage, a fried egg and cheese. I added a note asking for Mayo but I don't believe they did. Not sure if they didn't see or just didn't have it available. Either way, it was still good and did the job. The egg, bacon and grit plate belonged to my coworker and she said it was good as always. She always asks for extra butter on the grits and you can just tell they added it!

Typical convenience store layout, a bit dark, a bit chaotic with merchandise everywhere, and a small grill area just off the cash register area. 5 or 6 people standing around the counter area waiting for there food, mostly blue collards, but one suit was there. Ordered my 2 dogs with M, C, & O, and it only took a couple of minutes. Dogs were the expected small, red wiener kind, and the bun was steamed and a little "wrinkled", but everything was fresh tasting, and the chili was very nice, made the dog. Not much to look at here, but the dogs are worth a drive by. They have a small amount of outside seating, but this is pretty much a take away kind of place.

I didn't go inside so I have no idea what it looks like inside but the outside was typical drive through. I really just wanted to get a hot dog and had thought about this place since I drive past it a few days ago, curious about how good the food was because my experience with hole in the wall places are that they have great hot dogs. But I couldn't help but notice the signs on the menu stating they are now using BEEF TALLOW to cook with and that's a 100% chance I'm going to order the fries too and if they're using BEEF TALLOW to cook with means they are using all beef meat (REAL MEAT) burgers too, so I ordered the Burger Combo AND a Hog Dog. I ordered the cheeseburger with extra cheese, pickles and mustard and the hot dogs "all the way". That burger was THIIICK! And they use the good pickles, not the cheap full of preservatives type. And Mr. Thickums was tasty too. Seasoned just right. The only thing I would change on the burger would be the bun. It was fresh but just not as good as it could be. The fries were also thick n chunky. And looks like there is some sort of batter on them. I've never had crinkle cut fries like these and the beef tallow made them so tasty. I wish they would make it a law that restaurants had to fry in beef tallow. No more seed oils!!! Just sayin. I would come here just for the fries. And the only thing I would change on the fries is for them to be cooked just a little longer. I like mine super crunchy. These weren't soggy or undercooked in any way, it's just my preference. The hot dog was very good. The bun seemed to be a better quality bun than the burger. Was fresh and had a good chew to it. The chili on the pup was a beef chili and not greasy at all. The slaw was good and fresh. And the onions seemed fresh. Overall a really tasty hot dog. The food here is way better than the Dixie Express on Dixie Ave that's for sure and service 100% friendlier as well.
