Purchased some R40 Iconix Locking Lug Nuts (M14x1.5) for a fair price compared to other competitors (most were asking $400+ due to tariffs). Went to pick them up the and the deal went as smooth as possible. Was delighted informed on making sure to keep not of the lock key incase I lose em and also informed me that these will fit on my CE 28's for my DE5. Will definitely come back again for any car needs! Thank you guys again read more

Tom is the one of the best retailers in the auto scene around, certainly the best in California. I was looking to make a big wheel purchase and happened to meet Tom at a local events. We kept in contact and he talked me through many available options to make sure I got exactly what I was looking for. He is informative but not pushy like others I've dealt with. With parts coming from Japan, a long wait was inevitable but Tom kept in constant communication. He is active across many forms of contact, so you can reach him by phone, email, or social media, whatever works for you. Eventually my order came through, exactly as I wanted. It didn't stop there. Even after I picked up my order from his business he followed up with me afterward to ensure proper fitment and application Whatever you're looking for, you owe it to yourself to at least contact him and see how he can help you. I cannot recommend SpeedImage and Tom any more highly. read more

One of the best tuner shops in the bay. I have worked with Tom for the past three months to get everything for my 17' WRX. He was able to get me some gramlights within a weeks time frame and also some BC Coilovers with Swift springs. I have also ordered some minor items from Tom as well and they get them quick. They don't pressure you into buying parts you don't need and will give you their honest opinion on specific brands. If you ever need anything for your tuner car, don't hesitate to give them a call. You will not be disappointed. read more

Tom is extremely helpful with his customers. If you guys need JDM/aftermarket parts, Tom is the go to.

Tom gave me Good advice. He had lots of actual photos of the Rims I was considering and first-hand experience with them. He gave me a good deal and I settled on a set of titan7 R10. He is very knowledgeable which inspired confidence in my choice to get the better quality wheels. He made the titans seem like a no brainer because they are affordable and have good warrantee. Highly recommended if your in the market for JDM wheels. read more

I had ran across Speed Image at Blox Evo (car show) a few years ago. Since then I had purchased a couple of small items such as a set of Project Kicks lug nuts and some Squash air freshners a while back which i had gotten a great deal on. Last year, was one of my big purchases. I decided to go to the darkside and order an Airlift Air Suspension on my G35 after getting scammed from another local shop for an Airlift V2 kit, which i will never go to again. Went through hell getting my deposit back from that "other shop" After doing research on what kit i wanted, i decided to call and or e-mail several shops around the area including Speed image. After back and forth e-mails from Tom at Speed Image reagarding applications, the features that i had wanted for my car, and also discussing about pricing; I noticed he had the lowest pricing compared to the other shops in the area. Since my first two purchases went smoothly, i decided to give them a shot. I ended up ordering an Airlift 3H air suspension which was going to be released in late October 2015. Since my inquiry started in August, i had dropped down a cash deposit and waited for my air suspension to arrive. I was not in a hurry to receive the airlift suspension therefore i had told Tom to take his time on ordering the kit. Tom had kept me updated regarding the status of my order and was not hesitant to answer any of my e-mails or calls while i was waiting for my kit to arrive. Most shops would be irritated with me e-mailing back and forth, but not Tom. Tom was very patient and was not hesitant to get back to me. Talk about great customer service! The air suspension did arrive a couple of weeks earlier than expected and i could not be happier. I will definitely purchase more parts from Tom in the future when the time comes for me to get another car. Thanks Tom and Speedimage! read more

Terrible customer service, gentlemen by the name of Tom talks in a very arrogant manner. Contacted the shop to get a quote on some parts and after about a few weeks or so got in touch again with them because I made a choice to get the parts, but found out that the new prices quoted was much higher. He basically told me that he never quoted me the original price before, what a load of bs and dishonesty. Not everyone is made of money buddy. I do not recommend this shop, a much higher level of service you would expect can be found elsewhere. read more
