I visit often and it is noteworthy that their Spring Clearance sales, 75% off for most things, are…read morephenomenal, especially if you get there in April when the best stuff is available. I bought a couple of great 6+ ft. wind tunnels, multiple beautiful Coral Bells varieties, multiple beautiful Lenten Rose varieties and most were in good shape, and all have lived and thrived. Their staff are very knowledgeable and helpful and everything I have been told checks out and they love my dog too. They have a great variety of non clearance plants and their prices are competitive and the healthiness of plants (and usually stock too) is often better than the garden sections in the nearby box stores, at least for things I buy.

This location is far too restrictive on things and too much of a control freak. Been there several…read moretimes for chickens the line wraps around the building. They have a rule that they have to go in pairs, but you can only get one of each breed then this morning they decide that you can only get one from each tub so if the two breeds that you were gonna go in there to get happen to be placed in the same tub, you had to get something you didn't want or give up the fact that you sat in line for hours to make it worse, then they have a mixed tub of undesirable breeds for most people that you can't pick what you want out of it. It's whatever they grab definitely not a business year toward the customer They claim they want everybody to get something so everybody walks away unhappy instead of those that got there early walking away with a reasonable purchase. I understand you won't sell all 50 of a breed to one person, especially in a county that only allows six chickens per residential property But every week there's something different and this week, the rules change between walking in the front door for the first people in line and getting to the actual picking up chicks, they change the rules in that 30 seconds of time they decided to change the rules for this reason alone I will not be using this location for anything They're far too restrictive and far too worried about things that are none of their business as long as you are buying the correct amount as long as you're getting them in Paris, so they don't die of loneliness, you should be able to get two of one breed other locations have different rules And the process seems to work much better, but this location thinks that they have the absolute perfect set up they do not

I visited this location to redeem a builders coupon for 2-pints of paint and to purchase a gallon of paint for a new project... what a great experience. Not only were the employees friendly, they were helpful with recommendations and transparent with pricing. For example, I had a 50% coupon and already went online for pricing so knew what expect... or so I thought. I was told (before purchase) that the store prices are different from the online purchases. I was appreciative of being made aware of this prior to making a purchase. I selected the brand, color, and paint type then he took a few minutes to mix the color according to the type I requested. Upon completion of the purchase, he boxed up my items and loaded them into my vehicle. Even better, 1-pint of paint listed on my coupon was out of stock and he took down my number to call when it became available with a free drop off at my house since this company is frequently in my neighborhood... saving me a job. I recommend this place to anyone who is undertaking a home project requiring paint!!

A special praise for John Facer as he educated us on the different paints we may want to use when we remodeled a house for our mother. I highly recommend them.

I am just a regular old fruit and vegetable gardener, and I was looking for some coco peat. Lucky…read morefor me, Google led me here. The store seemed fairly new. Coco peat is quite difficult to source around here, and some places have crappy quality, so that further complicates matters. Well, while this is not geared towards us veggie gardeners, certainly all are welcome, and there are some really great products. I not only found my coco peat that was great quality at a great price, but the service was absolutely excellent too. There are some really nice fertilizer options. Everything here is organic and top quality. Surprisingly, you won't find things like FoxFarm brand. The main product line that they carry is Build-a-Soil, a brand out of Colorado. It may have it's target plant, but a plant is a plant is a plant. They all have some shared basic needs, and good (well, the appropriate type) soil is one of them. My 5 kilo brick of coco peat was quality and just $10. I was grateful and impressed. It was right by the register too, which made for a quick trip. If you have the budget to splurge, the owner told. me about a really cool fertilizer product that is super concentrated and needs only one drop all season. It was super tiny, and he says it lasts for ever. It runs about $40. The nice thing is that the own (Matt?) said to let him know if I needed something in particular because they're open to ordering. He seemed very knowledgeable. I can't remember the name, but I was assisted by one of the owners, and he was so kind, patient, and helpful. I had recently injured my back and had some pretty significant impact to my ability to lift or bend, and I happened to mention it in passing that I had messed my back up foolishly lifting a heavy plant alone. Do you know that this guy remembered at checkout and offered to lift my brick of coco peat and take it out to the car for me. I was SO grateful because I really hate asking for special treatment, but I would have had major issues carrying that thing myself. I was in a lot of pain. I can say, without hesitation, that I know where my coco peat will come from from now on. I am more than happy to support a business owned by such kind, patient, and helpful people. He didn't try to sell me more than I needed, yet he was still very enthusiastic about his products and the quality on offer. I will say this--leave your kid at home. I wouldn't say it is kid friendly. They partake in their extra curriculars in the back behind the curtain. However, it's nice to have a local business to support for at least part of my gardening needs. Also, for those who need to know, they carry the plant tents, advertise that they can provide guidance with respect to current laws and what your rights are, fabric planting containers of various sizes, and I believe they carry grow lights too. Their business model is to literally provide whatever you need from start to harvest. Whatever you need for growing indoors, I know they advertise that they have that. Veggie gardeners, please don't sleep on this place, we can ditch Amazon and support them for a lot of our needs, such as fabric planters, grow lights, fertilizers, soils, etc. UPDATE: The fabric pots are Grass Roots brand, and I got a 30 gallon that's perfect height for potatoes, sweet potatoes, and berry plants. They didn't have black, unfortunately, but It's machine washable (air dry). It's not as sturdy as my $20 ones (They're only 20 gallon and they don't have a 30 gallon tall one) and doesn't have handles, so I wouldn't really consider it portable when filled at all, but it will certainly do the trick for me this time around. I sure liked the cost savings. This was my second trip. Still excellent service.
