If I could give zero stars I would! our internet went out and we informed customer service that there was an outage in our area and we would be informed when service was restored... We were never informed of service coming back on and I decided to cancel to get a new internet provider... I went to a store and cancelled then the next day they charged my card again! They claimed that the cycle was from the middle of the month and that they charged at the end of the month. I asked to be reimbursed for the days we had no service and the time remaining that we had on the current month since I cancelled. They told me that they "could not confirm we had no service during the outage" because I didn't call every single day to wait on hold for an hour in order to complain! The manager I spoke to was named Michael and speaking to him was a horrible experience! If you get spectrum your Internet will go out all the time and is completely unreliable and working with customer service is worse than having a root canal! read more

I discovered that Spectrum has been charging me for a router that I do not have for 2 years. Once I realized what was happening and tried to get credit I was told they had a 60 day billing dispute policy. So I am paying for your error? The corporate greed of this company knows no bounds. Fine service as a company. They do have a monopoly as an internet service provider for my address. I stopped in today to turn in some equipment and it was very fast and easy. There were 5 staff at the counter and only one station was unmanned. I had to wait no more than 3 minutes before I was seen. Thanks for being so efficient. read more

DO NOT BUNDLE WITH THEM. They will try to hard sell you and tell you that you can cancel later, leaving out that they will nearly charge you double a month per service if you do that. Also don't thing you can "try it out" and cancel immediately and don't believe them if they say you can, because they are lying. I was talked into getting a internet and TV package with them because the sales guy lied and told me it would be the same price if I cancel later. We have had TV services for three weeks, it doesn't work at all. I mean we haven't used it once because the channels won't load. So we try to cancel like the orginal guy said we could. So I call and after speaking to a CSR who first tried to sell me on the "value" of my nonfunctional TV service then goes on to tell me that my $60 internet service will not cost almost double. Which first she tried to say it would be $70 instead of $60 but then after still not being able to convince me, told me it would be $100/month..for just internet. Then she told me had we canceled "right away" that maybe they could have "fixed" it as far as price. Which, I reminded her that we hadn't had the service for less then a month and it doesn't work.. ofcourse it was "out of her hands". I ended up speaking with a supervisor becauseI wanted to file a complaint, who claimed it was also out of his hands. Basically, he placated to me to get me off the phone. So this is pretty much a warning for consumers everywhere. Don't use spectrum if you can help it and if you can't don't bundle unless you want to hand over 70% more a month. In the mean time, I am filing a BBB complaint and switching to a different company because while I am an ex comcast customer, so I am kind of used to dealing with shady liars in exchange for internet, they usually aren't this dismissive and upfront with the blatant lying. The customer service for Spectrum is horrible. I signed up for only internet services and was told the price was $45. Months later, I decided to get the streaming service so that I could watch football, but it was only supposed to be temporary. No one at the company told me that by adding the streamiing service, it immediately makes my acocunt a bundled account and now, if I disconnect the streaming service (which is utter garbage as it NEVER works), my internet only price will almost double. Just when you think this company can't get any worse, they surprise by surpassing mediocre to become abysmal. If they weren't a complete monopoly, they would be out of business within weeks. Spectrum is so bad! Had a guy out and then for at least 3 months WiFi was out at least twice a day. Had another guy out yesterday and no WiFi today since 10:00am. Absolute garbage. Internet costs way too much PLUS I've had multiple experiences with my own home (and other family members homes) who have patchy inconsistent internet. fyi, Spectrum doesn't care. They are professional scam artists and as long as they get your money, they will up your fees and charge you for products they can't even consistently provide. I've been without consistent wifi for months. This wasn't an issue until I cancelled my television service and all of a sudden my wifi times out every 20 minutes? Very confusing process, if my parents weren't with Spectrum I would most definitely have a different service. I recently ordered an iPhone 13, upgraded from the 11 Pro, and this by far has been the most difficult process ever. I've called more than 3 times within 2 days of it being shipped, experiencing long wait times to just speak with a representative. Once I was able to I asked multiple times for them to just remove the shipping restrictions so I can just pick up my phone at a FedEx office, the representative, I forgot his name, said he would take care of it, never did, FedEx basically said they haven't remove the shipping restrictions what so ever. And FedEx is already on their third delivery attempt, I believe one more delivery attempt and they will probably ship my phone that I ordered back to Spectrum and then I have to do the process all over again. At this point I could've gone to the store and just get a phone, for as long as I've been waiting. FedEx keeps on attempting to deliver my package during times I'm not available and I can't even sign for it. I just want my phone at this point. Once again like I said, it shouldn't be this difficult to order something.
