I have had AT&T fiber a bit over a month. The installation was a pain with a no show before they finally came. It has been down 3 times in the last 30 days for more than 12 hours each time. They are saying they can't fix me for another 36 hours this time. I was told the cost would be $47 and change but the first bill is over $75. Came knocking door to door, spent 15 minutes not taking no for an answer, then actually sold my husband on their "great new service" but we can only have the best thing they offer if we also switch our phone service. Now we have terrible internet throughout 3 rooms no where near what they said we'd get, its constantly out and being worked on. And my phone service have never ever been worse, literally dont even get phone calls at home anymore. Absolute trash internet and even worse phone service. We were under the impression that AT&T would be better then our Spectrum and Verizon Hotspot. By far the absolute worst fiber Internet I have ever had. They just ran lines in our neighborhood and convinced me to leave Verizon which wasn't perfect but it got the job done. After having service installed for about a week, our AT&T drops out completely at about 3pm to midnight everyday to less the 96mbps. I have called, texted, emailed with zero response and the online support is a joke and reads from script. Service request is a joke and the value for my money I should have stayed where I was with Verizon. If I could I would give them o stars. Thanks for nothing AT&T! read more

We changed to AT&T as soon as they came into our neighborhood as we were just satisfied with Spectrum. Two minutes later, our lawn crew accidentally cut the wire which was not properly buried by the AT&T crew. Due to lack of repair techs, they put our reconnection out six days from the day That the accident and cut off. This is unacceptable as both my husband and I work out of our home and use the Internet on a daily basis. Unfortunately, I have returned to Spectrum, they were able to reconnect me the next day. I fussed at AT&T as we are long longtime customers of cellular, and they said they just do not have the repair staff currently. They have overbuilt too quickly and do not have the infrastructure to support their new customers. The coverage was spotty and at times that the Internet was very slow. We will consider changing back to them at a later date once they have the proper infrastructure in place. It is good to have options which we did not have before. read more

My AT&T fiber went out for nearly 24 hours. Two different technicians had to come out as the first technician said the problem was with the line going out to the main terminal and he was not trained for that repair. Next, I contacted AT&T Billing as to my 20 percent discount promised me by the sales rep and per the door flyer and mailings. Billings said since I already had Internet 24 and upgraded to Fiber, I was not eligible!! It was for new customers only. I asked where was that specifically stated?! Be careful of sales rep and flyer promises and contract fine print when ordering Fiber. Also, Fiber "promises" to be much faster, but I see no major difference. I was told since so many homes are installing it in my neighborhood, this could be slowing it down for a while. I would wait before installing Fiber until more facts are known! read more

My experience with AT&T fiber internet was simply awful. From beginning to end, every step of the way. First of all most of what was promised me in the sales pitch and offer I approved, was actually carried out. First example, I was charged an install fee that was supposed to be waved. I was not given the correct plan discount. And my first bill was about double what I was quoted. Next, my internet went down within the first week. When I called support for the Internet going down, they said they could not support me until regular business hours. How is it that a global company can't provide support for their service? I was also told I had a bad router and needed a replacement, even though my router had only been installed for one week. Even with a good router, the coverage did not cover throughout my home, as well as my previous service. Then the internet went down again at only about three weeks and was down for three entire days Throughout the three days, we did not get any appropriate communication as promised and had to continue calling for an ETA for repair, even though it just kept getting pushed out. After canceling to go back to my previous service, I had only been into my new month by three days and they charged me for a full month. When I called to get support, the representative gave me attitude and told me they would refund the excess charges at the end of that month. Why charge me a full month when my cancellation was already set? The equipment return policy gives me 30 days to return the router. Within one week I got a text message saying I had been charged $150 for not returning the equipment when I still had three weeks left to return. When I called for support on that charge, all they would tell me is their text messages are having issues (shocker) and if I see a charge to call back again. As if all of the times I had already needed to call for the many issues hadn't taken enough of my time. Usually they will send you an letting you know that you have an upcoming payment or need to make arrangements. Needed to make arrangements on my wireless bill promise to pay by the 5th of February. Ha, joke on us suspend our account on Friday afternoon paid the phone bill in full no service until Monday. Yep you read that correctly paid the bill no service at all. We talked to so many representative lies after lies long wait time promise after promise. Then came back unfortunately we're not able to restore your wireless at this time. Horrible service and this company is not transparent. We have had AT&T fiber for 5 days and the internet was out for a whole day. Customer service told us it was something we did on our end, but that's a lie because we haven't touched anything since they came to install. The technician came by to fix the issue of the internet being out and he told us that someone came and disconnected the wire from the connection close to the sidewalk. I know that's a lie because my security camera picks up everything and we would have seen someone disconnecting the wire close to the street. This company is not transparent and not recommended because apparently someone is going around my neighborhood disconnecting my neighbors wires as well. I have been with AT&T for over 8 years and the quality of service I have received recently is abysmal. I recently bought a home and needed wifi set up quickly for my remote job. I turned to AT&T since they have fiber ran in my development. During closing the address of the house changed so I reached out to ensure they would have the correct service address. The representative confirmed that they would at minimum note it so there would ge no confusion. On the day of install the technician explained that no notes or changes had been made so they wouldn't be able to complete the install that day. When explaining that I needed this service for work they said there was nothing to be done. They told me they would set up a survey ticket and be back out on Tuesday for an install. After they left I waited for confirmation that this ticket was complete and the new date was set, but nothing came through. I called on Tuesday to figure out what was happening and they said nothing had been done AGAIN. So I explained the situation and asked when the soonest I could set up a new appointment. This is when they tried telling me fiber was not available in my location. I responded by telling them there is a flag in my front yard saying buried fiber and I can see the ISP box down the street. They asked me what address I was at and they STILL had my incorrect address on file. I was forwarded to the fiber department to see if they could help. They confirmed that there was infact fiber there and they opened a NAV ticket for me and gave me the ticket number. They told me to call back first thing in the morning and see if they could complete an install. So I called back the next morning and was told THERE WAS NO TICKET! On top of that they told me to complete the install they would need to place a whole new order and whole new rate. I was furious and asked for a manager or supervisor. This individual DID FIND THE TICKET and helped me get a similar rate. I asked about locking in the rate I originally had but because of all these issues over a period of time I wouldn't be able to retain that rate. He got me a new order and got me set up with next day install,but when I asked about what I should do about my remote work he said there was nothing he could do and I would just have to use my hot spot. It is now the day of install, I have waited all morning for this and the time frame was 10-12...it is now 1:30. I dont understand what is happening with AT&Ts processes and systems but this is ridiculous and negligent. I am losing work hours trying to get this installed. If anyone is moving into the liberty development in panama city, be wary getting AT&T installed. It might just be a huge headache. read more

I assumed internet from my landlord. when my lease expired, AT&T refused to turn service back to landlord and continued to charge me. I can't terminate service as equipment would need to be returned and is still in landlord's property! AT&T will gladly cancel my service but then charge me $100's of $$ for equipment still in my landlord's house I no longer have access to. Can't talk to a person, they cite rules they can't break. I switched phone providers (t-mobile to att) because of a special deal, and was guaranteed to pay 100.00 a month for two lines. This was 2 years ago. I have paid between 186.00 and 224.00 every single month. I turned in two phones, but after 6 months I started to get a bill. I canceled at the end of the contract, but att still wants 600.00 I have visited the stores, talked to the customer service departments in india and filipines, but my bill keeps getting larger even though I am no longer a customer. ATT is without a doubt the worst customer service I have ever experienced. I just want to pay my bill, but it went from them owing me $531.00, to me having to pay them 531dollars. A company built on fraud and theft. Disgusting a business operates as a big scam - especially since a phone line is a requirement in 2025. Time to nationalize this utility. We participated in the trade-in program. Sent in the qualifying device and followed all terms of the promotion. Month three came without a credit as promised. I called and proceeded to spend 3 hours on the phone until they decided that I didn't have to wait. They spent THREE HOURS to get me to end the call. If it wasn't $1250 on the line, I'd have laughed. Absolutely ridiculous, unnecessary and (in my opinion) by design. The agent regularly escalated to the manager after each question about the phone was requested. Make of phone. Escalate. Color of phone. Escalate. IMEI of phone. Escalate. Tracking number, ship/deliver date - everything. They already had all this information. Two times on hold for 20m without music making you question if they had hung up e.t.c. After 3 hours, the customer service rep. declared I didn't have to wait and they'd just go ahead and take care of this. Right. I'm about to throw the phones into the garbage. The phone I traded is gone. Poof. I wouldn't have done this had I known. Don't be an idiot like me and use AT&T. Learn from my mistake. Please. Horrible Internet service. It throttles and buffers. The customer service has been farmed out overseas so it's very difficult to get anything resolved. I just feel the company has no value in their customer base. I guess that's why they have so many star reviews for all their different products. Probably a black rock / vanguard investment controlled board ! My Internet service box that sits on the easement has been uncovered for three years. Terrible. Takes hours and multiple calls to get through for service. Takes up to 6 days to get a service person to the property for outside Att line repairs. Takes as long to "overnight" mail a new router when needed. No call back when promised. Always experiencing "more than usual call volume" which begs the question of the definition of "usual ". When told to opt for a call back option and "you won't lose your place in line" I got a call back after 40 minutes from another electronic voice and again waited for 7 minutes to then hear "we are experiencing more than usual call volume blagh blagh blagh and the darn thing hung up on me. Att if you care about customers and our calls are " very important to you" you might consider hiring enough people to actually answer the service calls and train people to actually call back as promised Just saying .. read more

U-Verse is the worse service for a phone line, especially if you need it for your security services. Very unreliable. If the electricity goes out, you have to go out to the garage to reset it to get a phone line and a signal for your alarm system. Try to do that when you are 1200 miles away. In other words AT&T U-verse leaves you without a security system if this happens. I also get notices from my alarm company that U-verse is not sending them the alarm signal when it's activated. AT&T also makes it very hard to switch it back. All they have to do is switch the hard wired phone line back on, but they are very unreliable in wanting to do so. Don't get U-verse as it is very unreliable. If I had a choice I would not even keep AT_T as they give you the run around in getting things done. They don't take responsibility in getting you to the right departments or in getting things taken care of in a decent time frame. If they say they will call, they don't. It is everyone else's job but their own and they don't care. It is the worse service I have ever seen. They have gotten to big for themselves to handle things properly. Shame on you AT&T. read more

Att has some never to send a bill for $60 to collections as if I owe the money. FOR SHAME. I canceled their service when COVID was it its zenith in March because they couldnt offer 10GB of speed. I had no choice to go to Cable. I have a disconnect notice from them with Equipment Return Instructions telling me to return their box which I did. It was a piece of paper to take to carrier and have them package and ship. I have had Cable which has been paid since March 20th. I do not owe them any money. Two out of the four people that live in my home work from home. We have 2 land lines, wifi, and DirectTV with AT&T. We have had countless issues with the service, installation and billing. The last incident occurred today when a payment arrangement that was set last week was not honored by AT&T. The service was disconnected without notice; consequently our work was interrupted. We contacted AT&T only to encounter mediocre customer service. The TWO representatives repeated the same script. They were rude and unwilling to help. I am very disappointed with AT&T Internet/TV. I just switched from spectrum and it was the most horrible thing I could've ever done. I've only had service for eight days And been out TV and Internet for the past 2 1/2 days. I call them on the phone and I get a bunch of mumbo-jumbo...no one knows what's even going on and lucky if you could understand them. AT&T is bad business. From the start we were deceived and overcharged. We wasted so much time on the phone with them disputing charges. 1. We told them we didn't want the "free" movie channels when we started the service. They added movie channels and charged us for it. It took 2 statements and hours of phone calls for them to fix this. 2. We received an offer in the mail to upgrade our internet for free. We upgraded and were charged for it. Guess what? It took 2 months of statements and hours of phone calls to get this fixed. Then they downgraded our internet again. 3. Our bill doubled after two years from 150 to 300 a month for shitty internet and not much cable. We cancelled the service and they said that due to the fact we had upgraded our internet we would have to pay early termination fees around 100 dollars. We were on the phone disputing this due to the fact they never disclosed this when we upgraded. 4. We returned the cable boxes and modems per their instructions with UPS and they charged us for the equipment a month later. On the phone for an hour disputing this. Then they only credited 120 instead of the full 300 for the equipment. On the phone again asking why they didn't credit the full amount of the equipment? Took a month to get them to clear the charge. 5. Cancelled our service August 30th and still receiving invoices in October. They were supposed to give us a credit for what we prepaid for September, instead they charged us another month for September. Guess what we need to do? Call them and dispute the charges. I have talked to 10 employees 6 of them stated I would receive the credit since I still have the Fedex receipts and could provide the ref #. I absolutely hate U-verse. This is by far the worst cable service I have ever had. The DVD doesn't record programs to the full length of the show. Example: an hour long show you have to set it to record for 5 mins after the show ends to make sure you get the whole thing and still it will record just 13 min, 34 min, 28 mins, 54 mins. If you truly want to see whatever you programmed, you have to search for it and watch it thru there. When you turn on the tv you have to wait 5 freaking minutes till the goddamned thing BOOTS up. I'm ready to cancel Uverse and just be satisfied with Netflix. I HATE UVERSE... AND YES I pay my bills on time! read more
