Cable has been off and on, mostly off for the past two days. Made a phone call and was told to reboot the box, now weird things are flashing on my box and of course no cable again, My neighbors are having the same problem. if I could give it no stars I would. The app is absolutely the worst. Everything you record has glitches from skipping to not recording to going back to the beginning to stalling. Why is there no way to pause live TV yet? And don't even get me started on the Internet, which speeds are not what they say they are. and the cost! Somebody needs to reign these people in. If I could I would give a 0 star rating. Customer service representatives were very rude, did not want to help, tried to pawn you off to another store. After talking to Customer support line, the lady on the phone said that everything I asked the store to do should have been done in store. Drove over 30 minutes to get an upgrade and they tried telling me they had no inventory. Found out they lied to me about everything. Would never recommend going to this location. The elderly man was extremely unprofessional, gave attitude, did not want to do his job, and all around rude. I have a125 channel plan. The same channels are repeated often more than once. You don't receive 125 different. A few are not clear. The people sound like they are gargling when they speak. There are lines with various colors across the TV screen or the screen is black. I can't have a dish where I now live. I would have gone with DirecTV. The Internet is crap too. My service is on and off or not 100% and pages can't load. Both Spectrum cable and Internet are the preferred options in my building read more

I wish I could give TW less than 1 star because they don't deserve a star. I moved to CNY several months ago and I was surprised at the bad service and high rates. I paid over $ 100 for cable and internet. I have to reboot that cable modem and my TV cable box on a weekly basis. Calling customer service does nothing. They just ask you to reboot which takes 20-30 minutes by then the program you are watching is over. Their equipment is old. Their monthly charges are ridiculous. $34.99 for internet + $5 to rent modem + $10 for wireless!! What the hell is $10 for wireless after you have paid for the internet and modem? Are you running invisible cables from my modem to my computer/TV. Such a scam Everywhere else I lived, I had Comcast - excellent service. Never had to reboot my boxes. $60/month for internet and cable. Being a cable customer for 20 years made it difficult to cut the cord. Well! I finally did it. Cut my cable bought a Roku for the price of one months cable bill and I could not be happier. No more monthly cable bills! Woohoo! Have not paid for Netflix or premium. The free channels are more than I can handle and better shows than TW. I watch shows at my convenience instead of cable programming. I can even watch free Indian movies and listen to Bollywood music The worst part of TW service is canceling the service. I emailed and called TW several times. They transfer you from person to person and then leave you on hold for 45 minutes+ to discourage you from cancelling. I just made a lengthy post, or at least attempted to and it hasn't been published yet to your Facebook feed. I originally got Internet service for $49.99 per month. One day a sales person called me and promised me that if I upgraded to cable television that I could cancel at any time, "risk free", and go back to my original $49.99 per month bill. Sure enough, after I canceled the cable television my bill is higher now $59.99 After complaining to customer service, they insured me that my bill would be lowered back to the original $49.99 and they gave me a $20 credit for my troubles. Now my bill is still $59.99 and when I called customer service, I spoke to a supervisor who informed me that the previous two customer service representatives and sales people were either lying or incompetent. This is gross. Spectrum needs to honor the promises that it's employees make. I want my Bill to go back to what was promised to me... Twice. This is upsetting and I will not renew once my service is over. I have also told all my friends and coworkers about the story. I'm not asking for much, just that our agreement be honored. I called the customer service department to cancel my home phone. My husband and I have been a customer for years and I was not cancelling my cable and internet. The customer service rep. that I encountered was horrible. She was rude and she yelled at me to calm down and I wasn't the one with the attitude. She is very bad for business. read more
