When we bought our house, and moved maybe 43 miles from where we were, we kept the dsl. After 3 yrs of dealing with satellite tv fails, I was ready to.do streaming, but the dsl couldn't cut it. That's when I called Hancock Telephone, just across the border in NYS. I am so glad I did. Where we had maybe 5mbs, we now have about 20mbs. No more buffering, and we can use multiple devices. The price is more then what we paid with the dsl, but it shows in the speed. What we spend in internet, we are saving on tv service.
