$$$ Beware of these thieves $$$ We have had spectrum phone services for a few years... I broke the screen on my phone, so I immediately ordered a new phone online. My husband and I are both disabled, our doctors all call my phone because my husband has a traumatic brain injury and a spine injury and doesn't always understand what the people calling need. I realized that I could put a screen protector on the phone I broke, so it wouldn't cut me, so I did not activate the new phone. I kept it just in case I needed it later. Spectrum put our account on paperless billing, and I put the bill on auto pay so I didn't get busy and forget to pay it, we are constantly at doctor's appointments due to our health, so they have to be able to reach us. I didn't realize that because I didn't activate or send the new phone back they charged **** $40.71 a month "for their services" **** the new phone was paid off when I ordered it, it was never activated, so there was no services I should have been charged for. I never took it out of the box until today when the representative asked me to connect it to my wifi so she could unlock the phone so I can take it to a different company if I want. I bought the phone in October of 2024, so they have changed me $40.71 a month since then. I got a text from my credit card today about the charge for $40.71 from spectrum after I canceled all of the services in January. I called and spoke to a young lady and she said they wouldn't refund it, (it's over $ 600) even though the phone was never activated. I called the billing department and was still told they would not refund the money, so I decided to let everyone know about the thieves. Please beware. Seems like this is the only way to do a review is selecting a store. But honestly I hope corporate sees these wish I could email them about these issues. Each time I've called on a billing issue or I just recently I called Friday to cancel my service with them I have gotten rude people who should not be working as customer service. When I asked for a reference number for the call in case I have any issues I could refer back to it the guy hung up on me and I didn't even know his name at all. Countless times I was getting bill increases after being told I was locked into the $75 a month deal for 2 years my bill jumped up almost $30 which is one of the reasons I left their service on top of the constant outages we would have. They need to treat the customers they have left with respect when calling. Not to mention the guy I talked to Friday was very disrespectful I was just calling to cancel my service not to have this so called man make me feel stupid. Or make comments about if I go to McDonald's and they have poor service that I will still go there anyway. Like what? Who trains these people? If I could give 0 stars I would. Spectrum internet, I had technicians from spectrum Come to my house and try to fix my internet. Which I'll keep losing connections about 80% of the time. They couldn't find a Problem and basically threw up their Hands and left me with c***** internet which I pay a lot of Money for endthey said it was my fault that I had an Older t. Vwell, that's just b******* They sent a whole crew here. After that, 5 people were in my house and they had the same results. They couldn't fix it. But they never dropped my price for the internet. Imagine you bought your grandmother a cell phone and it stopped working. She goes to the Spectrum store to return it under warranty, the phone is only 6 months old, she is told that she has to send the phone back to the manufacturer to get a repair, that even though Spectrum sold the phone, they do not warranty their products. So she will have no way to call for emergencies, call family members, call for her nurse; she's incognito and thus screwed unless she shells out another hundred bucks to buy a new crappy phone that will probably break before the warranty is up. Attempting to navigate the prerecorded Robotic messages to finally speak to a human in order to set up an appointment with a service technician is arduous and frustrating at best. The hurdles continue with the customer service rep whose responsibility it seems is not to assist with setting up the service call appointment, but instead to tell you that you don't need one and that your problem has no solution. Finally when you request to speak to a supervisor your service appt is granted. Poor customer service management should be held accountable and submit for retraining at the request of higher management.After 17 reviews Spectrum is a 2 out of 5. I would give zero stars if possible. The customer service here was terrible. I dealt with a older guy who kept say "he is blind and can barely read anything" while he's on a customer. I only went in to get a SIM card and this same guy said I can't give you one, spectrum will mail you one. So I explained that spectrum told me to come in the store to get one. This guys explanation was "well if I only have 50 phones and 50 SIM cards then I'm down a SIM card". I told him I promise I wouldn't waste my own time coming in if I was told that. The wait times are long because the staff are slow. The staff doesn't have any knowledge and doesn't seem interested in helping. This was for a mobile order of a new iPhone. A week later, I still hadn't heard anything so I went in. There was no record of my phone being ordered. "Sorry, we don't know." I had been with Spectrum Mobile for only 4 months and went back to Verizon. I do not recommend Spectrum Mobile. You get what you pay for. read more

RUN IF YOU CAN!!! Unfortunately, cable services are a monopoly and Spectrum is the monopoly in my area. I used them when I lived in Spring Hill to provide, besides cable, phone service; I used to have AT&T as my landline phone provider, company whose phone line/dial tone never died during mishaps. During the hurricane that passed over Tampa - Pasco- Hernando their phone modem was cut of power and their battery did not provided juice for the phone line. I was trapped at home without phone service (my T-mobile provided cell service worked until the battery lasted.) Those that have phone service, be sure to have those cell-phones charged & ready if you do not have a TRUE landline. I recently moved, and the pictures below show the problems I been having with their unprofessional service. From wall damage to poorly installed equipment to lousy bandwidth (speed), they have been lousy even at the customer service level which had me for almost 5 hrs accumulated holding time and talking to more than 10 individual to get service assistance. And NOW they want to hook you on their mobile service? As stated above RUN!!!! read more

I needed to change the service from my homebound 97 yr. old father to my name to make sure the bill was paid. They were terrible to deal with. Wanted a crippled veteran to come down or take weeks to mail the paperwork. I would recommend NOT going with them. They are a nightmare to deal with. I should just leave the bill unpaid but I am not that type of person. The lack of employees that work at this store is horrible. There are always so many people in the waiting area and 2 people working in the store to service that volume of people is unacceptable. It doesn't matter what day of the week or what time of day it's always the same. I do not recommend going to this location. read more

I want to start by saying that the people who we've worked with, both over the phone and at the store, have been very friendly & helpful. This review is not a reflection of the personnel at the store and it annoys me even further that Spectrum doesn't allow a review of the company as a whole without choosing a location. My boyfriend & I arrived in Florida on Saturday (2/18) to stay at his parents second home for a weeklong vacation, when we attempted to turn on the local news we found that the service had been disconnected even though payments have been made each month. After 30 - 45 minutes on the phone with customer service we were told we had to go to the local store (about half an hour away) to get a replacement receiver because the one we had was inactive. A few hours later we return to the house and start setting up. Modem & router we're not communicating. Called customer service again, he couldn't find the signal. Half an hour of troubleshooting and he was able to get that working, however the cable box we'd gotten at the store was faulty so he scheduled a tech for the following morning. Sunday morning, tech arrived & switched out the box & got the cable working but told us we needed to return the other box to the store, so back we went. The cable package we pay for includes WiFi and boxes for 2 tvs so when we returned the first one we asked for a second one so we could hook up the tv in the bedroom. Today (Friday) we finally got around to setting it up and low and behold, it didn't work. Went to the online support and logged in to the account and it said we had to disconnect the active receiver in order to activate the replacement receiver, except we aren't replacing the device, this is for the second tv. So called customer service again and after some back and forth were told that it's because we were given 2 receivers when we should have been given a receiver and a dvr and that we would have to go back to the store (for the 3rd time in 7 days). We've now been waiting for over an hour at the store and are still the 15th person in line. I'm assuming that Spectrum is the ONLY cable option in this area because I can't imagine anyone would willingly use this company if there was Any alternative option. This has been an enormous waste of our time! Way to go Spectrum, you truly suck! read more

I love this location and have always had great customer service in this area. We were setting up new service and came in about 15 min before closing which was perfect because it wasn't busy. Hannah helped us and she is THE best! We got other prices over the phone and in mail ads, but online was different. I knew going in person I'd get to the bottom line. Hannah no question used the online offer (Internet Ultra @ $45/mo for 24 months; no bundling needed). Not sure why it was different over the phone and in mailers but you have to work for what you want. Hannah made it hassle-free and we had plenty of available days and times (including anytime tomorrow!) to choose from to fit installation to our schedule. Great job!! I would give this store ZERO stars if this site would let me. Absolutely abysmal customer service. They have you check in so they can call you in order but then proceed to serve customers out of order. I waited for over an hour to exchange a router. I watched several people walk right up to the counter and be waited on as if the checkin didn't exist. There were 2 people working with over 20 people waiting. The guy was with one couple for 45 minutes (and was still with them when I walked out). The gal had a single customer for 30 minutes. And one other (who left the floor 20 minutes after I got there), served people who just walked in. I finally just did my exchange online and received my new router the next day. I will be switching my internet to another provider. This experience was utterly disappointing. I've waited in line for less time at Disney. At least there, I got something out of it. All I got at this store was rage & anxiety. read more

The past reviews are 100% true. Extremely slow. Only two staff members inside of the store working. They need to have a better system of picking items up. All I needed to do is to switch a item out. While I was there both staff members were with a customer for longer the 15-20 mins. They either need to get more staff or speed this process up so that the other 20 sum customers are not waiting. You guys are selling phones also so that takes a huge amount of time. read more
