The employees at this store are great! I have internet, cell and mobile tab internet with them, all work great. We have endured the continued price hikes until now. But because our internet is on and off multiple times each day we are less than happy. We have had 3 service visits and finally learned it isn't just us. Apparently there is an area service problem and it has gone unrepaired for over a month. One tech said the people who can fix it are in training somehwere else. So we continue to pay full price for half price service. Getting through the chat and AI phone system is nothing but the same did you do this, did you do that....it isn't us. read more

Lady running around half dressed with shower cap on her head Taking up all kind of time just to pay her bill. I went to the spectrum store yesterday in Tarpon Springs , it was a night and day experience . First of all let me start with that I have chemo brain therefore i am unable to comprehend and grasp a lot of things such as trying to figure out a android cellphone , a few day prior i had gone to the new port richey spectrum store the one in the sprouts shopping center , i don't remember the guy that works there name but he was of no help i asked him to remove my security password from my phone , i have no clue what he did but my phone got locked and therefore i was unable to use it , his respond was he couldn't help me . I was totally stressed out with that answer , being my phone was the only means of communication i went back to spectrum but the one in Tarpon Springs ... this gentlemen named Jourdain help me , not only was he kind and helpful by trying to unlock my phone but he gave me the number of who to call to to help me out , he let me use the store phone to make the phone call and was so sweet and helpful i was finally able to unlock and reset my cellphone thanks to the manufactures tech line . I wasn't able to thank Jourdain personally because he had left for the day by the time i was done talking to the manufactures of the phone i want to give a hugeeeeeeee thank you to Jourdain ... may god bless you and all the good work you do in helping others. My dad is a disabled Vietnam vet with dementia and I'm his power of attorney. I'm getting his finances in order and finding that several companies have been taking advantage of him which is very disheartening to realize how many horrible people there are out there who will do anything to make a few dollars. My dad has been paying spectrum $288 for services for years. After hours on the phone with Spectrum I finally got authorized to speak on his behalf. This involved stressing my dad out with several calls. After I was authorized I learned that Spectrum recently convinced him to get a mobile phone added to his account. He already has a mobile phone on my acct and he had no idea what they were asking him to do. After a one minute conversation with him it is apparent to anyone that he has dementia so there is no reason for anyone to think it is okay to push him into buying more services. In addition, after I was added to the account each person I was transferred to asked for a pin code, this process involved calling my dad on his home phone and he had to read a number to them each time. (4 times!) This was a long painful process and really stressed my dad out. My dad thinks the home phone is the remote so it was very stressful for him to find it and answer it. I am unfortunately in another state and Spectrum made a very difficult situation 100 times worse with their inefficient processes, lack of understanding and greed. This company's number one goal is to make a profit even if it means taking advantage of seniors who served to protect this country. Shame on Spectrum. read more

I made a purchase for iPhone 14 oro( wuch was hacked and did not work properly at all) and for a samsung ultra 23 in green. We got the iPhone 14 pro but the Samsung was in black. My husband decided to keep it anyway. Now I exchanged out the iPhone for the Samsung ultra 23 and was given a time frame to return them. I don't have a car a d my neighbors all couldn't take me. Tried very hard. It's been packaged and ready to go for awhile now. Now because I couldn't meet their expectations I am stuck with an improper working iPhone that I have to pay for and both 23 phone which one don't work cuz the screen is all black. Which how is a business aloud to do business like this ? I do0nt see where they are willing to work with me I talked to two supervisor and three customers service reps. Not helpful at all. Please avoid Spectrum Cable/Internet they are nothing but a bunch of used car salesman who promise a product and then WILL NOT deliver at install time. Installers do not talk to techs who do not communicate with their lousy sales team. I was very specific with what I wanted and then at install time they didn't do it and when I called they said oops the salesperson quoted me wrong and wanted to change me more then $30 a month more. I spoke to 6 different people that they kept transferring me to in almost 2 hours on the phone. it was nothing but a bunch of BS that they kept saying. PLEASE CALL ANOTHER PROVIDER. I guess I'm joining the legions of greatly dissatisfied customers according to posted reviews. They are my internet service provider and so far no problems with access. I left a Frontier since they were only offering 50mps and Im now at 100 MPs which is sufficient. That's the good news. Spectrum Mobil has an enticing low price offer buying per mb,however it's meaningless when there is no signal (1) bar in my home and outside. I had to call from my car and even then it was intermittent. To switch to another carrier I needed my account number. I called Spectrum. They asked me for info over and over and then said they have to find a supervisor who was unavailable to discuss my request. I finally went to their store and was able to retrieve it immediately. Why couldn't Spectrum have been more cooperative on the phone? I understand spectrum's trying to stop the churn to help improve their financial picture. Corporations can't stop customers from leaving and making a better personal and financial decision. That's restraint of trade! After I got my account number I switched to T-Mobile. The reps in Tarpon Springs are very professional and knowledgeable. (See my T-Mobile review) Spectrum's customer service seriously lacks professionalism and is very far from being user friendly. Take your marketing dollars and instead of buying sports billboards invest in positive customer focused training and problem solving. Does senior management read any customer reviews? Restaurant owners do and they strive to improve. This lack of customer satisfaction eminates from top down. To improve the bottom line Spectrum needs to dig out of your poor consumer ratings! read more

Terrible company! They tell you lies to get your business. Customer service is horrendous. You ask to speak to a supervisor and they lie to you as well. The problem is that they and one other company are the only ones to choose from and the other one isn't any better! They know this and that's why they just plain don't care! We had a spectrum representative stop by the house BIG MISTAKE and he sold us a a price that does not exist at spectrum. His name is Jerry Moltimer, If he stops by your house do not believe a word he says. He also sent us an email stating what the monthly cost would be. I called Spectrum to advise as I got a bill way more than he stated it was going to be, the spectrum customer services on the phone stated first that they do not know who Jerry Moltimer is. When I asked for management to report him for false representation and lying through his teeth. They advised that they are too busy to deal with me. read more

I've been to this store several times and each time they are incredibly rude. I was taken aback. They don't tell you that you have to sign a simple document for your equipment to be turned on. They charge $50 for tech setup, which should be free to begin with. THE WORST. read more

This review is for the spectrum service and not the technician who took in my equipment. The young man at the office in tarpon springs who took in my cable box and modem was very professional. After talking over a business and having the phone number transferred from the old business to the new business, the previous owner and I were unable to close her account and we were double billed. This is just another mistake in a long line of issues with this company. First the technician showed up early and normally this would be a good thing but he actually showed up before I took over the business and disconnected the phone line and modem during business hours. Furthermore his wiring connection was a tangled mess. Not only did he do a poor job of connecting everything but he also disconnected our cash register and I was unable to take credit cards for hours. After calling technical support they told us that spectrum was not responsible for equipment that wasn't theirs despite their technician disconnecting the POS system. They send a second technician who was equally bad and then sent a supervisor who still could not get it working. We called a technician from another company who talked us through the process and finally got it working. The previous owner of the business and I were constantly on the phone with spectrum support and we were both told that a technician was going to pick up the old equipment. After 5 weeks and a number of phone calls I was just told that we could drop off the equipment in tarpon springs. We were also told that spectrum never received any phone calls to have the previous owners account deactivated and this could not be further from the truth. Also for the last 5 weeks all phone calls from my business were listed on caller ID as the old business and not the new one. Spectrum is just dishonest, deceitful and unprofessional. read more

My spectrum bill is less than half of what I paid at Verizon, which I am very happy about. But they lie to the consumer about the quality of their service. The service is OK. Just OK. It is nowhere near as good as the service with Verizon. If you want to save money, you will. But if the best service is what you want, stay with Verizon and pay 2 to 3 times more. I am choosing to stay with Spectrum and the mediocre service because I like the smaller bill. read more

HORRIBLE customer service. I discontinued my service because I was moving. I was told that the tech would disconnect my unit and return it to the store. WELL, it was not returned. Not only did SPECTRUM take out a payment for service (AFTER I discontinued service), but are now charging me for the equipment. I am getting nothing but a run-around ...one rep tells me I need a receipt, another one is telling me there are no paper receipts any longer. I need to show a "receipt" that the equipment was returned....so frustrating. I finally spoke to a rep who will contact the tech....BUT reimbursement will take at least 4 weeks. Save yourself this aggravation and find another provider!!! read more
